Synopsis:

I have published this book four times in different accounts and I understood that writing is not an easy game. For a few times I have been discouraged with the comments and I eventually tried to stop writing the book and start a new one. But then realization hit me hard. ok sorry to spring this on y'all right now but I want to try to write in a different style, a more horror/gruesome type of book so I'm going to start a new book think of it as a little project to see if it works, the book will probably be called "the diary of horror of the apocalypse" it's about how a normal person wakes up in the apocalypse, having to fend off people and monsters of horror I'll start writing it right now (by the time this is up, I'll be writing the first chapter.)

Side note: This is my first book so I'll need help with the story details and editing.

Alright, boy-ohs and girlies, I've tried my best, I really have, but writing is way harder than I could have ever imagined. I'm at 216 chapter, 218 if you count *******, and about 90-95% of the story has been written without much consideration for outlining. A while ago, I started a wiki for the novel to try to keep track of everything and only now am I starting to understand the magnitude of the mistakes I've made writing up to this point.

Anyway, the announcement this time is to let you know that my writing pace hasn't simply slowed. I'm just taking the majority of my time chronicling everything that's happened and will happen and thinking up solutions to the problems that I've detected in the logic of the story; or plotholes. I'll probably take a while and until I'm confident in where the story will head, I'll continue putting out a depressingly low number of chapters every week.

It feels wrong to not say anything and even worse keeping my ******* collecting despite the obvious downgrade to my writing speed. So, despite my obvious bias in wanting to keep Patreons, I'd caution everyone supporting me to only continue doing so if you're fine with the current situation. Webnovel, Royalroad and my ******* all keep publishing dates on the chapters I release, so you can keep track of my writing speed by looking there; until you feel it's worth it, reconsider wasting your time or money during these unstable times. I probably should have made this announcement sooner, considering the downgrade to my writing speed has been around for a month's worth of time, so I apologize.

I'll be putting out chapters when I can, but the majority of my focus right now is revisiting already published chapters, touching them up and documenting whatever I can in the novel's wiki page. Anyone wondering where I'm at can check the wiki page and even contribute if they're bored enough. That is all for now~

UPDATE (December 29th, 2019)
Alright, I'm about to get really real and admit to being a really shitty author these last three to four months. Truth be told, I really did want to take time to update the wiki and figure out how to handle what I thought were this novel's biggest failings in plot holes. However, to do that and find details that might have only been mentioned in passing, I had to eventually turn to rereading entire chapters.

Guys... I'm being as sincere as I possibly can right now. I have no fucking clue how I've developed a following after rereading the first couple chapters. I understand that authors can grow a lot after a year, but it hasn't even been that long and I believe the first hundred chapters are Trash with a capital T. It's borderline unreadable (upon proofreading this tirade, this might be a mild exaggeration, but it is true to my thoughts nonetheless) and the fact that I have nearly 4,000 followers after combining the collections on Webnovel with those following on RoyalRoad is incomprehensible to me. There are still even 19 people supporting me on ******* when I haven't released squat in nearly two months!

I've tried to ignore this. I've tried to work on other books. Hell I've even messed around with fanfiction, hoping to one day wake up and see everyone gone. Like the book had never existed. But like I said, there are still 4,000 people waiting for releases. More joining by the day and people still supporting the novel with spirits stones. Even 19 who value two chapters being at least a dollar.

Every time I think I'm ready to move on, ready to completely shut down the novel to start a new one, I think about those people and realize, "I'm a fucking bitch. Just finish the fucking novel, idiot." The passing of time has only made the feeling worse, so I guess this is a message consigning myself to completing this book, by any means necessary. I won't be able to focus on another story otherwise, so this update is more for me than for my audience.

That being said, the reason I felt inclined to give up on the novel in the first place was because of how terrible I found my writing from a nearly a year ago. So, I want to stress that I'm not going chuck a bunch of shit together to finish the story. Rather, I'm going to go back and rewrite things as I continue to catalogue things on the wiki.

Last couple things I want to quickly mention:

- I haven't really used any of the money I've made on ******* so I want to commission a legit book cover. Ditch that shit I made with my lacking Photoshop Skills...

-More on the money thing, after I finish rewriting the novel — it'll mostly be editing details that make the book seem less like it was written by an amateur, so the story progression won't at all change — I plan on also hiring people to format Book 1 and eventually Book 2 into legit e-reader and paperback formats. I know, I know...

"Greedy author, have you no shame?" 

Honestly, I want to follow pirate aba's style of keeping everything free, and I will. I'm not going to enter a contract with Webnovel or paywall chapters through kindle. However, for the people who for whatever reason want to have a kindle or physical copy of this (current dumpster fire of a) novel, I want it to at least be possible. There's also the benefit of gaining new readers through Amazon this way which is always a plus. 

Like the G.O.A.T. pirate aba — check out her (I think it's a her) book The Wandering Inn — I'll keep all the chapters on Webnovel and Royalroad free. Though the ******* thing will still be in effect at least until I finish the series or whatever.

-Since I'm rewriting the novel for the most part, I'll make more announcements as I continue updating the novel; meaning adding on to the story (Chapter 219, 220, etc...)

Unless it becomes too annoying and people request against it, I'll be adding "Revised" to Chapters that have been, well... revised.

-I'm going to be having some polls on RoyalRoad on a couple important things as I start getting back into the grind of updating this novel.

Namely: Should I change the name of the novel? If so, to what? What would you guys like the book cover to look like? Should I change the name of the Books/Arcs?

As I sleep, there is a voice trying to call out to me. 

"Hey, Wake up.."

I turned my head away. But the sound still didn't go away, instead the voice became even louder, Then, I felt a bit pain above my forehead.

"Write a good story, please make good books!"

I opened my eyes slowly. I didn't remember what I've been doing, nor have I found who was the voice calling out to me, and so too, was the wall I looked at which had some anime drawings plastered on with post-it's of notes beside. As I start to recall what I was going to say or do, just then, the tv in the bedroom turned on despite i was doing nothing, right I was surprised just getting up, and I remember about the book I was practising, as I ignore what happened just now, I get up and grab the phone on the stand and start typing words.

"Hello people, whoever reads my practice story book, I've come to tell you all about some stuff about this book, so here we go!"

All I could remember was when I finally broke down, my heartbeat was pounding like crazy for seconds, and I wanted nothing but to lie down on my bed for a brief rest, perhaps caused by 5 consecutive days of studying and working overtime  at my job I have pushed myself to the limit, to be honest I thought I was dead for a second, oh well, anyway, I am announcing a couple things relating to the story.

"Alright then, this story the way I wanted it to head has broken because of me, why sadly, cause of my practising and trying complicating paths for someone like me, I can't see how this is heading anymore, so it is like a puzzle with bad spellings and even different story writing styles or words layout.

"Despite that I'm still going to be posting here, as for the original story, I plan to re-write the whole thing once someone or myself finds the writing of it ok, what I mean is the way I try explaining my story's for the readers and my interest that I'm satisfied with so I could write more story's as I have a lot of ideas, but my way of explaining is awful I say."

"Next chapter is Kate, to be honest I am never going to do a word layout again, as this chapters side is complex because it's a gaming fantasy i tried from a different book, as the 1th chapter of this book is near the original path, but sad, cause the words are missed up with miss spelling words that ruined it."

With a Mystery path ahead of him he takes charge coming through tough encounters and happy counters all stuff he never got to truly enjoy in his life with his kind heart or dark heart that changes him for the better or worst through his adventures in this Cruel world

We finally make it to the classroom door and I stop him and say "My name is Hinata by the way."  He smiles and say's "My name is James ." with a big dorky smile that is to cute.  

         We take a seat at the back window desk and he pulls out a pencil and a price of paper and starts writing something,but I'm not a nosy person so I just take out the book I've been reading and he looks at the book and starts saying "That is a really good book I've already read it." and goes back to his writing, OK so he IS a dork, but a cute dork.

         The teacher wrote on the board and it said to start reading. James passed me a note and I open it and it says "Meet after school at the place we met ;)" Oh no, but this isn't what he was writing before so what does he want? I don't know but I'll find out later.
           When it's time for lunch I take out the bento I made last night and sit down in the grass and open it and get the chop sticks. When I just start eating James comes over and yells "Hinita can I sit with you?" and then everyone looks over at me and just then I realize that he is the cute guy in freshman class 2, crap I'm dead.

             I decide to ignore him till he wants to talk at the gate after school. I just wave my hand and smile a big fake smile and he sits down next to me in the grass. Shoot I'm dead.
"So, What is your problem? Are you not use to high schools?" He wants me to talk!? "Kinda I've been at private schools my whole life I'm not use to a public school." I decided to say something stupid. Then he gets all serious and says "I have to confees something to you."

My name is Hinita Hanclok and I'm a freshman at international academy in japan. on the first day of school I run into a idol of the school, I don't even know this guy but he confessed his love to me on the first day of school and now I'm dating the most popular guy in school.Well at least I think.

It was a long time since I started this novel to try and start something but in the end I just felt immense disappointment for the result.

Soon school exams started to pile up like right now and I just completely dropped this book.

I try to make any short stories connected to my main novel (this book).

In the end I wrote an entry for a Halloween Discord Competition that made me accidentally won (The link is in the author's thoughts)

For the past few months that I haven't been writing, I instead focused on creating an outline for other novels that were connected to this.

In order to do that I tried to dabble in philosophy and religion which my head just couldn't cope.

I finally gathered my resolve to finally start writing seriously again and so I started 8 Lives of Sins.

Essentially it's about a person who is the reincarnation of 7 serious sins in Christianity that now has to kill an entity of 7 Virtues.

Tasked with this, the person questions his life and at the very end I will write about a surprising character that walks into their fight.

The protagonist, Kaito discards his last name to embrace a new life and rid of the misfortune he has cause. 4 unfortunate deaths surround him just for living. With the whisper of a clown and the teachings of his master this could have been avoided, so why did you kept quiet?

With the death of his master he rejects his humanity with the alluring voice of the Pierrot "Receive power at the cost of mortality" "is it your humanity that refuses to accept?" "Take it". The laughter of insanity, chuckle of madness and the echo of a lunatic.

Prologue

Rei didn't have many aspirations in his life, he just wanted to be a author and live a happy life.

From a young age, he was infatuated with books. From literary works like «Gone with the wind» to fantasies like the «Harry Potter» series, he had read everything.

The only goal in his life was to become a author. Writing books all day and getting appreciations from his fans at night, it was his dream life.

His infatuations with books led him to work in a library. It was a great job for him, being with books all day made him greatly satisfied but it wasn't enough.

Rei didn't wanted to read books in a library, he wanted to see his books in the library.

That's why he took out his pen and started writing. He didn't have a story in his mind, he just wrote about himself.

For 6 months, he continued to write his first story for  6 months and finally submitted it in a contest.

He didn't thought he would win. Although he had gave everything to write his story, he was not confident of it.

His story was just about a boy who was bullied in school, was afraid of the darkness and whose crush had rejected him but even after those things, he always found peace when he was reading a book.

It was literally about himself just he had changed the story somewhat to make it more entertaining.

He didn't throught that such type of story would work, only people with depression will wanted to read his story.

But reality was different, before he know it, his book was getting published.

Rei was excited but he was not optimistic about the book. He didn't thought that many people will like his book.

But reality was still in his favour, the book sell like pancakes.

He was being hailed as the genius of the literature world.

Before he knew it his dream of becoming a author was fulfilled.

He was now a famous, genius author whose book was a bestseller.

So, what will Rei do next? 

It was to live his dream life!

People started recognizing him in the street Broadcast stations would ask him to appear in their shows, and he became famous at his school.

Rei loved the popularity, and the sense of respect was not half bad either. It felt like his talent was being appreciated.

The bullying was stopped, the teachers who had previously given him a blind eye began appreciating him, the girl who had rejected him became his girlfriend.

Everything was perfect but the problem was his next book.

Rei's next work was a test. After the book had reached its peak of popularity, people were divided into two opposing opinions. 

Rumors kept popping up every day. Some said that he was a genius while others said that he was a fake. 

As much as the crowd loved Rei's work, they had trouble trusting a young author.

Rei didn't pay much attention at the time. It did hurt his feelings, but he was able to remain confident.

After all, he did write the book himself. He thought he would be able to prove to everyone with the following book. He thought it would be a piece of cake for a genius. 

He wasn't entirely happy with how the writing turned out, but that had also happened with the first book. The editor was against Rei's second book, but he didn't listen.

Eventually, he rejected the editor's advice and released his work with another publisher.

That was the start of his end. His next book was a disaster.

The publicity backfired on him. From a young genius, he was now a one-hit wonder.

But he didn't gave up, he thought that just a failure was nothing. He could still make a comeback with his next work.

He thought that he just have to write from his heart but he didn't realise that his heart had changed since he got popular.

After three more books, his career was over. 

He was now a failed author instead of a genius author. 

His career was finished, his girlfriend had left him and he had spend all his money in gambling.

After that years went quickly, he lived a life of depression.

Alcohol, smoking and drugs had made him hollow from the insides but he didn't die.

His dream of becoming a author was still there but he knew it was only a dream for him.

He kept reminiscing about his glorious past but he knew he can only thought about it.

Everyday he started thinking of the reason his career failed.

Was it the stardom? No, it wasn't. It was his ego and impatient that failed him.

He was too proud back then, thinking that he was a genius but he was nothing.

He just wasted away his youth thinking that he was the best but he was only a normal person with a big ego.

He knew his life can never be the same. He didn't wanted to live a life on the streets. 

After thinking it through, he decided to end his life. 

Every book has its end and in this way the book of Rei's life ended.

Or was it just the beginning....

Although I did get lost whilst exploring, it wasn't all that useless. I did stumble upon my father's study and a library, I also know where to find the kitchen from previous explorations. I also know where bathrooms are, but those aren't of great use to me, what interested me the most was my father's study and the library. There is for certain tons I can learn in those two rooms. If my hypothesis is correct then the human writing will be similar to to dragon script. Although dragons may not seem like it, they are very dextrous and have very pretty hand writing and a natural gift for art. 
Its midnight, a day after I got lost, I retraced my steps to reach the library, I pull out the books on the bottom shelf using some magic I conjure fire to light the lamp and start reading. The book I picked was a book about poisons and which plants to use when making poisons. Half way through my second book I realised I was still a child not even a year old and I needed my sleep. So I developed a system to remember where the books I chose to read are. I simply turned the books upside down when putting them in their original places. This way it won't be to noticeable and I would be able to find the book quickly. After I returned back to my room and went to bed I reviewed what I learnt today. 
This process repeated for a month and a half, by then I had already finished the whole library (which let me tell you, was no simple task since the room was huge and it was stuffed with shelves full of books). By now I knew the workings of human society and I knew many other useful little things. It's time now that I start to read the documents from my father's study.
