Night One Hundred And Sixteen

Age 1981

The Lab...

Ken stared at the older girl with a curious look. It was a while since she ever seen another person besides her father... She was just four years old at this point, and had already become the Seraphin having a lock of silver hair, and bright silver eyes. In front of Ken a quiet girl rested. She was nine years old, and much like Ken had the silver lock of hair, and bright silver eyes. The girl rested in a corner both of them in a simple white cell...

"What are you looking at?" The older girl asked with a grumble.

Ken flinched and look away. "S... Sorry... It's been a while since I've seen someone... You... You're very pretty."

"P... Pretty?"

There was a loud mechanical sound as the doors opened and Mr. Hyde, and a man in black armor walked in... The man in the armor stopped in his tracks. His eyes glanced at the second girl. "Who is she and why is she in the same room as my weapon?"

"Ahh. Much like little Ken here Viper has survived the process becoming a Seraphin. I tried it on over three hundred subjects, some old, some young, some boys, some girls, some full of will, and some dead. Only these two have passed..." Mr. Hyde said letting out a small laugh. "It's amazing Lancelot... They became Seraphins. A Bestia Macht in human form..."

Ken, and Viper stared at the two men both flinching as they stood there.

Lancelot let out a hum as he scratched at his black armor. "I suppose having a back up could work..." He muttered. "Do you know what's them work? Why did these two pass?"

"I don't fully understand it myself." Mr. Hyde chuckled moving closer and placing his hand on Ken's head. "But from what I can tell it all lays within the limbic system..."

Age 1991

"A flaming Bestia Macht..." Jackson asked with wide eyes.

"Wait how though?" Hero yelled as more flames and pressure rolled off of the beast slowly pushing the many kids, and Jackson back. "Bestia Macht have always been ice, Equations have always been heat. Only people that are weirdos are Ken, and Irene, one of which is part monster, and the others has a literal broken Equation!"

"Also why is it dressed in clothing and look like a human?" Jackson yelled.

"No clue but I don't like what I'm thinking..." Hero hissed.

"So Jackson and Hero are having a mini panic attack... Guess it's up to us Ken!" Kitsune announced. "Ken? Ken?" He slowly turned to look at Ken and his eyes went wide.

Ken's skin was pale white, and sweat was pouring off of her body. Her eyes were wide, her body was shaking, and her chest heaved up and down as if she was having trouble breathing. She looked sick... Even worse than she had been when she saw Viper again. Like she was going to throw up.

"Ken's having a panic attack." Kitsune nodded.

"Aren't we all." Light said also nodding.

"Oh my God Ken." Irene caught the girl as she fell back. "Geez what's wrong?"

"S... S... S... S... Sera... Seraphin... W... Wrong..." She shivered shaking her head as her eyes sealed shut. "It's a Seraphin."


"What!"

"Heads up!" Jackson yelled as the Bestia Macht let out a loud roar and fired forward flames pouring off of its body. "Here she comes!"

"I got this." Kitsune fired forward drawing his blade as the flames sprouted out of his head forming his ears, and his nine tails. He slashed the blade out throwing his own flaming slash out at the monster which clashed in a big heat burst.

"Shit it's burning up..." Hero hissed. "These outfits are designed to resist the freezing ice cold of the world... It's like being in a volcano in here..." He gasped as he unzipped his jacket from the waves of heat. "Let's end this fast!" He announced changing his arm into his massive buster cannon.

"Whoa!" Irene said with wide eyes. "That's new."

"Got a bit of an upgrade!" Hero smirked.

"Don't fire it!" Jackson yelled moving in front of Hero's gun.

"What! Why not!"

"You could drop the entire building down on us! Even though we're strong enough to survive it, there could still be people trapped in here and that would kill them! We can't let this building fall apart and need to take this thing out carefully!" 

"Damn it! Fine..." Hero's arm glowed and changed into his clawed form.

"Guy's here it comes!" Kitsune yelled as a massive ball of flame slammed down into them all throwing them all back. They all slammed into the back wall as the flames slammed into them making them all yell out in pain. 

Ken let out a loud hiss of pain as well as she looked up staring at the Bestia Macht...

Age 1982

"Damn it you failed again!" Lancelot yelled.

A loud smack could be heard as Ken hit the floor letting out a loud yell. Her busted lip healed almost immediately but her nose didn't as she was out of power unable to fix the serious damage. The man gave her a small kick to the side once again likely breaking some ribs as the man walked back and forth. He slammed his fist into the metal wall leaving a large dent in it as he let out a loud curse.

"Damn it... Damn it. Damn it!" He screamed. "I spent so much money on you! The things I had to do, to get you! Why can't you be better!" He screamed. 

"I... I'm sorry..." Ken flinched.

Lancelot let out a loud hiss shaking his head. "Damn... Mr. Hyde's pet Seraphin is so much better... What the hell did he do to that girl to change her..." He shook his head once again. "Still to slow..." He grabbed Ken pulling her up. "Come on. Back to your cell... I need to have a word with Mr. Hyde." He nodded. He clicked a button as the wall opened showing the same white cell which he tossed Ken into. "Don't die. I want my money back sometime this year." He clicked a button as the door closed.

"Ken!" A worried Viper asked helping the girl up. "You're hurt... You need more food right?" Ken simply let out a pained cough in a raspy tone spitting up some blood. Viper rolled up her sleeve and placed her wrist in Ken's mouth. "Bite down..."

Ken did as she was told biting into Viper's wrist and slowly drinking the blood as her body began to heal as she regained some of her power. "T... Thank you..." Ken groaned looking up at the woof as her eyes became glassy and her vision began to fade.

"Believe it or not... We're the lucky ones..." Viper said sadly. Her hand slowly moved through Ken's hair in a soft manner. "The one's that didn't make it were killed off. Mostly... They turned into mindless monsters... Mr. Hyde thought it would be funny to let some out into the world... Great One those poor kids..."

"G... Great One?" Ken asked quietly.

"He's a figure my mom told me about..." Viper nodded. "One who watches over and the world and helps them... He won't ever help us though... He only helps humans... We're just weapons... Designed to be pointed at the enemy. Beasts..." Her hand slowly moved through Ken's hair. "We just have each other..."

Age 1991

"Get up..."

The light began to hurt her eyes as she slowly looked up. "W... What?"

"Get up!" Hero yelled in a panic tone as Ken set up. Her eyes went wide when she saw Hero was in front of her holding up his massive clawed hand which was holding a massive fire ball back. "Seriously I don't know how much longer I can hold literal fire!"

"S... Sorry." Ken jumped back up letting out a sigh. She glanced over at the Bestia Macht which was battling Jackson, and Kitsune. Irene and Light were providing support with ranged attacks. As soon as Ken was out of the way Hero let go of the fire ball ducking down as it flew past him and slammed into the wall badly melted it. "How long was I out?" She asked slowly.

"A few seconds it's fine." Hero said shaking his head. "Let's get to work..."

"R... Right... Sorry..."

"Are you okay? Can you fight this thing-"

"I... I can... It just... It shocked me when I saw it... Brought up... Brought up bad memories-" Ken was silence when Hero pulled her in for a hug shocking her. "H... Hero!"

"Ken listen. You need to pull yourself together. We need you... Come on... Whatever is on your mind we can deal with it after this okay..."

"...O... Okay... T... Thank you..."

Over with Jackson and Kitsune they were having trouble dealing with this mighty monster. It didn't fight like a Bestia Macht... A Bestia Macht fought like a wounded animal going all over the place, but this was being smart dodging and using it's regeneration allowing itself to be hit by other attacks so it can get a sneak attack.

"Take this!" Kitsune cried out slashing his sword. It stabbed into the beast but the Bestia Macht simply grabbed the Noble Fox by the head and slammed him into the ground. It twisted its body and threw the fox into the back wall. 

Light let out a loud curse shaking his head. "My guns fried..."

"What!" Irene asked in horror.

"Ever since my last mission my gun jams and crashes now..." He hissed.

Irene let out a hiss of her own and looked down at her hands. "My ice keeps melting before it can even get near that beast... Maybe... Maybe my dragon can-"

"No Irene!" Jackson called back. "Don't use that power. I can beat this thing!" He announced creating a lightning blade. He fired forward stabbing it into the monster as it let out a howl. "Lightning Arrow!" He shouted back jumping back and creating a large bow made out of lightning as he pulled back on it. "Arking Bolt!" He fired his shot as the arrow exploded into a hail of lightning arrows which rained down on the beast.

It let out a loud howl as it was shot from all sides by the many arrows and shook its head smoke rising off of its body. The smoke soon became steam as all of its wounds began to slowly seal shut leaving it without a scratch. It hissed flames pouring out of its mouth as more flames covered its arms forming giant fire claws. Seconds later a large massive tail of flames poured out from behind it which began to slap at the ground over and over again. Its horns were even covered in flames as it clicked its jaws and glared at the Enforcer.

"Didn't like that huh?" Jackson asked grinning. His bow formed into a large lighting spear which he spun around his body and pointed at the beast. "I'm ending this right here and right now!" He screamed firing forward as he stabbed the massive blade forward stabbing it into the monsters stomach as he moved at lightning speed. His spear shifted forming a massive lightning axe which he ripped out of the monster and turned on his heels slamming it into the monsters neck and slicing its head clean off. "You're done... Thor's Hammer!" He yelled slamming a massive lightning hammer into the severed head and flattening it.

"It's over?" Hero said letting out a sigh. "Good... That thing was stronger than the one we fought in our first mission..."

"N... No..." Ken said shaking her head as memories flashed through her mind. Her eyes went wide as she recalled something. "Jackson it isn't dead-"

Jackson turned just in time as the beasts tail stabbed through his gut. It twisted and through him into a wall as all the kids stared in horror as a new head began to grow out of its neck...

"B... But its head was destroyed..." Irene said falling down.

"T... Those ones are different..." Ken hissed. "They have small bugs in them... We need to break that!"

"Where?" Hero asked raising his clawed arm up.

"U... Usually in its heart-"

"Got it." Hero fired forward at a fast speed as the beast looked up. It slashed out with its flaming claws meeting Hero's own metal claw sending out a powerful shock wave. "D... Damn this thing is tough..." Hero hissed as he began to get pushed back.

'Or... Maybe you're just weak... Why not let me take control?'

"R... Row?" The beast slammed a fist into Hero's head as his eyes went wide. He gritted his teeth as his arm changed into his massive drill mode and he stabbed it forward only for the beast to grab the drill with both its arms stopping it in its tracks as it let out a loud roar. Hero smirked though as it stopped his drill. "You're up. I'm counting on you."

The beast looked at him with confusion before looking past him and seeing Kitsune, Light, Irene, and Jackson... What happened to the girl-

It looked up just in time to see Ken firing down from the roof as she stabbed out with her hand stabbing it into the beast and squeezing down... There was a quiet pop as something was crushed between her fingers. The beast stared at Hero and Ken as cracks began to cover its skin.

"T... Thank you..."

Hero's eyes went wide when he heard the voice come out of the beast as it shattered into ash which than somehow broke down even more until literally nothing was left but a crushed bug in Ken's hands. 

"What... What the hell was that?" Hero said staring down at his hands. "Did... Did we just kill a human?"

"I'm one of the lucky ones..." Ken said quietly. "I didn't become that..."

A few Minuets Later...

"You guys made it out!" Ace said noticing the gang walk out of the building Hero holding the injured Jackson up.

"That Bestia Macht..." Jackson frowned.

"M... My wife..." The group all turned when they saw the owner once again. "It was my wife..." He cried out. "D... Did..."

"We killed her." Jackson said bluntly. "I'd say that was for the best... She must have been in a lot of pain... That was the Seraphin project... No way to reverse it... I'm sorry but putting her down was the only way to help her. May her soul return to the Great One..."

"S... She thanked... She thanked me..." Hero gulped feeling a sour feeling in his gut. "I... I think it was... I think we helped her..."

"I... I see... Thank you Enforcers." The man said taking one of Hero's hands.

"I... I... You shouldn't really be thanking me..." Hero shook his head. "She was the one that helped your wife."

The owner slowly turned to look over at Ken who looked away with an embarrassed look on her face. Ken let out a small hiss as Kitsune clapped her on the back and pushed her forward towards the man. "Y... Your wife... What was her name..."

"Martha..." The man said sadly.

"I... I'd like to say a prayer for Marth if that's okay with you? I'm a Sister of the Red Church..."

As Ken began to recite the prayer Hero walked with the injured Jackson to the car.

"D... Did we really save her?" Hero asked  setting the man down in the car.

"Who knows..." Jackson sighed. He slowly looked up at all the buildings. "What I do know is someone is making a Seraphin..."

Far away across the city Bright stood on a rooftop.

"Good... They put her out of her misery..." He sighed saying a prayer of his own. "Oh Great One... How many more must suffer... Just when will I find it... The secrets of the Seraphin..."

What the hell kind of flight training do dragons have? Aren't they supposed to be old and wise instead of stupid? All that I thought of when it came to dragons has been thrown out of the window just because of my stay here... LITERALLY!
Parthenia picked me up and just threw me outside of the cave! How did she expect I, someone who used to be a human, to have the ability to fly on the first attempt?
I face-planted on the ground after falling 1,000 feet off of a damn mountain. Surprisingly, I managed to survive due to my body. Even though I have an insane defense stat, it still scared me shitless when I was falling. I thought I was going to die. 
Speaking of that, shouldn't I be able to get off of the ground even though I have the flight skill at rank (F)? I attempted to fly, but I could only barely levitate off the ground.
After that whole fiasco, I tested out my new body's limits. Breathing fire feels weird considering that I don't know how it works. It just magically comes out of my mouth without any explanation.
One of my special skills [Weeb Attacks] reached (SS) when I was...reborn as a dragon knight? I started to experiment with it.

I just smile as I hold a [Rasengan] in my hand.
This skill is only limited by my imagination. However, it is limited to attacks in anime and it isn't as strong as the original attacks because that would make me the strongest person in this entire world. Haha, using something like a full-powered Final Flash from Dragon Ball would be insane! I guess you need to have some balancing in this world after all.
Now I need to figure out what to do. Killing the 'evil' darkness dragon is off of the list of things to do in this world because I had learned that he is a pretty chill dude even though it seems like his wife is unstable.
Since I went from zero to hero instantly, I was curious to see how strong Hikari is to see what kind of monster could create something like me.
(Charlie) - "Hey Hikari, can I see your status?"
The temperature in the room drops to the point where there seems to be ice forming around the cave. I look over to Alderam to which he is just sitting there slack-jawed.

*Daisuke P.O.V.*
Oh shit, I get to have some skills at rank (A) and up!? I'll be able to take on that dragon all by my self and get the recognition that I deserve.
Without taking a glance at the rest of the contract, I take a quill next to my desk and sign all three places and the shadow guy pricks my finger to put my blood on the contract to make it official. As soon as my blood touches the paper, I start to feel different.
My power shoots through the roof! My body is noticeably getting stronger and I have grown by at least a couple inches.
Man, this power boost is awesome! I wish I had done it sooner!
Then the shadow guy jumps at me and forces his way down my throat to which my body starts convulsing.
(Daisuke) - "What the fuck man!"
As I say this I start to blank out and can't think straight anymore until I just close my eyes and collapse on the floor.
*1 Hour Later 3rd P.O.V.*
The students can be seen coming back to their rooms as they just finished their training for the day. When the boys go back to their hall, they notice Daisuke's door open with blood trickling out of his room.
Two of Daisuke's friends rush to the door to see if their buddy is okay to see him standing up facing the window with his back turned to them.
(Friend #1) - "Thank god you're okay Daisuke. What is with all of this blood though?"
He goes to reach for his shoulder to which his hand suddenly falls off. It takes a moment to register what happened but he then realized that his hand just got cut off.
('Daisuke') - "Don't touch me with those filthy hands"
Daisuke turns around and slashes the kids' head off with a slash of his hand.
*'Daisuke' P.O.V.*
What kind of fool would accept a contract where I take both mind and body? Nobody other than that idiot would do such a thing. However, fools like him are easy to manipulate.
(Friend #2) - "AHHHH Daisuke, what have you done!?"
*Sigh* so much racket.
I swipe at the other hero and he falls just as easily as the first.
The rest of the students hear screaming and run into the room and I exit through the window. Dealing with the empire is going to be a pain.
Before I can meet that beast again, I need to train this body up. With the accelerated growth of the hero and my skills, I will bring down that dragon. However, I will need to figure out how to get past Hikari the dragon god of light. If I'm not mistaken, they are together considering that they were both there when we had our battle.
The shit I had to go through to get to where I am now is suffering no mortal could ever bear. After our fight, I was sent to the hell of this world.
Even when I was tortured, beaten, and broken, my hate for the darkness dragon only grew and gave me the opportunity to become a demon and walk among the living again. I made a so-called deal with the devil to create chaos in the world for my freedom of hell.
Let's see how this body handles...

*Alderam P.O.V.*
Damnit man, I'm so bored right now. All we are doing right now is waiting for my children to hatch and just screwing around with Charlie. Acting is a hard gig. I don't know if I will tell Charlie that I came from his world because Hikari and Parthenia know from our past encounters. 
Parthenia learned from a touching motherly moment and Hikari learned because she was eavesdropping on my conversation with the 'Dragonborn' in this world. I'm just glad I didn't say anything really bad about her because I can't even describe what she is like when she is mad.
Yes, it is really that bad.
Anyways, it is really funny seeing Charlie go through the same stuff that I had to go through when I first became a dragon in this world. He didn't really go through the "evil dragon!" phase, but the sight of Parthenia disowning him for falling down the mountain was hilarious.
She even said a long time ago that dragons shun the dragons that don't cut it when it comes to Parthenia's 'professional' (horrible) flight training. How are you supposed to help when you are throwing them off of a mountain?
She loved me and still almost killed me when I participated in her flight training in what felt like a few weeks ago. Time flies when you are a dragon I suppose. Hopefully, another 10-100 years fly by so I can see the kids but something is probably going to happen considering the luck I have in this world.
Maybe I should get even stronger so I will be able to fight the bad guys who get ass pulled to the level of the overpowered main character.
Where would I even go to train? Considering that I conquered the strongest dungeon and already beat the strongest human other than the Dragonborn.
Wait a second...
I got experience from knocking out Hikari due to arousal right? If this world is really unbalanced like I remember it to be, then I could just abuse that method...right?
It feels like cheating and it would be pretty boring, but it will get results even if I think it is cheating. *Sigh* plans for the future I guess, but for now, it's time to get Charlie to taste an ogre for the first time.
Why do all of the people close to me have to be dragons and a single cat?

Sora, a guy who was reading up on "That Time I was Reincarnated as a Slime", had not been paying attention when he got struck by a moving truck. 
  
  He was taking his final breaths and he said to himself "wouldn't it be cool if I was in one of those isekai things? I mean, I just got hit by a truck. 
  
  I would love to have some cool powers and be able to live how I wanted to live. I guess dragons are pretty cool and they can do whatever they want, but it would kinda suck to be a slime though". 
  
  After everything went black, he thought it was strange since he could move around, except he was trapped in a circular object. "Why can't I get out? Why do I feel lighter? and why do I have claws as hands!"

Three days had passed since Izuku's perceived defeat. Since then, class had continued like any normal high school would as the teachers worked out some sort of outline for their students' Hero training. It had been boring and mostly trivial busywork. The stuff that Izuku did not miss from middle school. In fact, the only real interesting event that had taken place was the election for class president.
Izuku, unlike most of the class, chose not to vote for himself, instead choosing to vote for Yaoyorozu. It was something that she became extremely embarrassed over once she figured out who had been responsible for her position as vice-president. 
Iida had gotten the role of president after he had displayed a decent amount of leadership qualities during a sudden campus alarm caused by the media.
Relations with his class hadn't really changed much since then. Bakugo and him were still on bad terms and they avoided each other every chance they got. Uraraka still appeared embarrassed everytime she was around him, likely thanks to her encounter with Igris. And Iida still appeared stiff and unmoving around him.
If there was one saving grace in the lack of development, it was that Todoroki had yet to change his icy disposition, or focus it at Izuku. He hoped this meant that the S-Rank student had yet to learn the identity of his brother's killer. But to him, that seemed like a false hope.
Izuku couldn't imagine the torture that Todoroki was going through. If he was ever to lose Sakura, he wouldn't rest until he found the bastard who took her life. It was this conviction in his own mind that made him so wary of his classmate. Of course, unbeknownst to him, Shoto was too disconnected to care about revenge.
Natsuo had seemed to be an evil, vindictive killer that held no real value for human life and because of that his death had left Izuku guilt free, right up until he knew of the man's family. 
Endeavor was a top-ranking Hero, one of the best, and Shoto was a student striving to become a Hero himself. Had it not been for their familial ties to Natsuo, or the supposedly murderous Dabi, the Todorokis might've seemed to be a normal family with a quiet kid.
Izuku had done his best to avoid Todoroki the past few days and Yaoyorozu, who sat next to the heterochromatic teen, noticed. It had only taken her a moment of recollection to find the names of Raiders that Izuku had killed in self-defense. 
"So, what are you going to do about it?" She asked him during lunch, before anyone else could join them.
Izuku made no attempts to hide what had been bothering him, he knew that Yaoyorozu was smart enough to know by now. "What can I do? I killed his brother." Izuku sighed, "On the off chance that he doesn't care for some reason, then I'm good, but if I tell him and he's pissed, he's an S-Rank. He could kill me, maybe even with my whole army going after him."
Yaoyorozu pursed her lips, unsure of the right answer, if there even was one.
"Midoriya!" A bubbly voice called out, "Are you excited for today?!"
Izuku dispelled the anxiety pressing down on his shoulders and smiled back at Uraraka, who did her best to avoid direct eye contact, "Yep! After the combat training, I feel like getting to see some rescue action is gonna be fun."
While Heroes in this world were far more often warriors than saviors, there were those select few that decided to use their immense power for far more tame activities. Ice magic and water manipulation turned away from icicle barrages and pressure jets that could cut people in half and instead became tools for fire fighting. Healers became doctors, much like Sakura was planning to do. And even those with only strength-type Quirks gave up their life of excitement and Villain hunting to lift rubble. It was inspiring and what many considered the true essence of a Hero. Izuku would tend to agree with that, but to him, it just wasn't lucrative enough to pay for his mother's medical bills.
"I hear All Might is supposed to be there," Iida said from behind Uraraka, a gleam in his eyes reflected into his glasses.
This sentence alone was enough to cast off any of the stress Izuku had been feeling today. He had met All Might once before, during the Entrance Exam, but he ran off to get ready for the parent-teacher meeting and had to give up any time to talk to his favorite Hero.
In fact, All Might was most everyone's Hero. He cleared the most Gates, did the most rescue work out of any of the Top Ten Heroes, and always did it with a beaming smile. He alone dissuaded most of the human Villain crime just by existing. He had been 99 percent of the inspiration for Izuku's E-Rank Hero life.
"I finally get to meet him… like for real this time! I wonder if I can get him to autograph my notebook."
 
"So Midoriya, I have to ask, are those Summons your Quirk, or your Awakening?"
Izuku looked at the girl opposite him on the bus's seating rows. She had long, dark-green hair, big eyes, a slender build and was wearing a bright green bodysuit. Izuku was pretty good with names, so he remembered her as Tsuyu Asui, a B-Rank who apparently was here to specialize in rescue work.
He hadn't talked to her much, or really at all to be honest, but her question certainly made him pause for a moment. Awakened abilities were pretty standard and only came in a certain mixture of powers. Mages had only certain types of magic, Warriors only had certain types of melee abilities, and Summoners were no different. Even amongst the S-Ranks of the Summoner class, not many could manifest more than a few Summons at a time. Because of this, if Izuku were to claim to be a Summoner, it would look especially suspicious.
"It's my Quirk," He answered after a moment of thought, satiating the girl's question, but causing Bakugo to squint his eyes in disgust who sat just off to the back of the bus, leaning on one of the rails.
"Man!" Kirishima shouted, "You got lucky with a Quirk as flashy as that. All I've got is this." He raised one of his arms, hardening it into a rock-solid, jagged limb, "I'd love to have something like yours, or Bakugo's, or even Todoroki's! Then there's no way I could be ignored as a Hero!"
Asui scoffed teasingly, "I don't think anyone like Bakugo is going to be admired with that sort of attitude." 
"WHAT WAS THAT?!" 
Kaminari chimed in, "There's no doubt that people would assume you to be a Villain, especially with that ugly look on your face."
"WHAT LOOK?!"
"Yeah! That's it!" Kaminari shouted enthusiastically at Bakugo's gnashing teeth and nearly glowing red eyes.
"Wow…" Izuku marveled as he watched the exchange, "Things really have changed since middle school."
The bus continued to bump and roll along the road as its occupants bantered back and forth. Yaoyorozu chose to remain silent, instead simply choosing to enjoy Izuku's presence next to her.
"Enough," Aizawa grumbled, standing and latching onto one of the nearby poles, "We're here."
 
Izuku imagined he could fill his Daily Quests quota simply by climbing the stairs at the USJ. The training facility was so massive that the stairs resembled mountains more than anything else.
Thanks to his Level, Izuku had almost no trouble scaling the hill, but not everyone was so lucky. Mineta, Kaminari, and Aoyama were all breathing heavily, their talents resting more with ranged abilities than physical enhancements.
Upon reaching the top and entering the USJ, the trio groaned once more. A long platform stretched out past the doors, leading to yet another staircase, this time angled to the ground.
"Why make two of 'em?!" Mineta shouted, "Just make the entrance on ground level!"
Kaminari sighed in agreement, slumping down to rest his already weary body to rest. "And they want me to do Hero work like this?!"
"Absolutely!" A robotic voice boomed towards them, "A Hero should always be ready to work, no matter their condition!"
Izuku pulled his amusement away from his tired classmates and focused his intrigue on the new voice, surprised to see someone in a puffy, spacesuit-like coat. More surprising, was that he recognized her as Thirteen, a Hero specializing in rescue, even with her surprisingly destructive Quirk.
As she recited a heartfelt speech about the teenagers with attitude and their immense power and responsibility, Izuku went back to his old ways. Reciting every little tidbit of info he had on the Hero, Izuku barely let the words tickle his ears.
What did manage to reach him was a different, entirely overwhelming force, something he'd never felt before. It was a darkness, but unlike his own Shadows, it held none of the same comfort they gave him.
Looking around, Izuku spotted nothing by the Rescue Zones, each of which was specifically created to emulate a certain environment. And then, he turned his attention forwards once more noticing the sporadic spouts of water pumping out of the fountain in the courtyard until it ceased altogether.
And then, a shockwave sent the class tumbling backwards onto their rears. Even Aizawa and Thirteen struggled in their attempt to remain upright. Bakugo, Todoroki, and Izuku appeared to be the only ones not struggling too much against the intense force.
In reality, while Bakugo and Todoroki simply faced the force head on, Izuku was forced to use Dominator's Touch and his immense Strength Stat in order to stand beside them.
"This chill, it's the same as the Double Lair… no… maybe even more."
The area around the fountain warped and partially vanished as a deep purple Gate burst into existence. While its inherent existence was commonplace in today's world, its qualities kept the students and their teachers on their toes. A purple portal had yet to be reported and one of this size was in no way commonplace. It stretched out in unnatural patterns, fanning the area with its intense force. And then, it broke all of the common sense of a Gate.
A humanoid hand reached through the misty Gate, pulling itself through and dragging a pale body covered in hands severed at the wrist.
Pausing just at the threshold of the Gate, it looked up to the platform, gazing at the students and teachers from behind the hand that covered its face .
[WARNING!]
[There are 1 nearby human(s) that intend to murder the player! Survive at all costs!]
"Humans?" Izuku muttered out loud, his blood running cold, "That thing… it's human?"
He found himself more stunned by that revelation than the System's dire warning, or even the figure's immense power. It defied all logic, all reasoning. He was not just an S-Rank threat, he might've even been considered SS-Rank.
Izuku wasn't even sure if he had gotten this same measure of energy off of All Might when he had first met him… "Wait… All Might… where is he?!" He spun around, realizing that the top Hero was indeed not present, "Wasn't he supposed to be here? Without him, do we even-"
Izuku's uncharacteristically panicked thoughts were cut out and massive bursts of energy echoed from the class. Somehow in unison, Yaoyorozu fired off her anti-material rifle, Bakugo shot off a concentrated explosion, and Todoroki sent waves of ice chasing after his classmates' attacks.
The man simply raised his hand, allowing the bullet and explosions to crash into it. But nothing happened. There was no explosion, or even any apparent force exerted, the two attacks just vanished. The same happened upon the ice reaching him. For just a moment, it appeared to encapsulate him, however, like the other projectiles, it similarly crumbled into nothingness. This decay even forced its way up back through the ice, destroying every last bit of it, all the way back to Todoroki's foot where the decay thankfully stopped.
With the attacks from their strongest classmates being annihilated like nothing, the group went silent. After all, what could they do against a monster like that?
Bakugo, of course, was nowhere near discouraged. "COME ON! HE'S JUST ONE VILLAIN! LET'S KILL HIM!"
As if to answer his question, the man, who was still a Gate Villain in the classes' eyes, tilted his head and waves of enemies began pouring from the still open Gate behind him.
Izuku's eyes widened as he realized that among the Villains, there were even more humans.
[WARNING!]

The number's increase slowed as the mixture of Gate Villains and Human Villains finally stopped spilling from the portal between worlds. The last to exit being a massive black monster with a beak-like mouth and exposed brain.
"A Nomu-type," Aizawa spat out as he pulled the goggles that rested around his neck up to his eyes, "I recommend everyone evacuates back to the bus now that communications have been cut off."
Izuku turned to his left, realizing Kaminari had been tapping at the headset on his head. For some reason, this spurred Izuku into chiding himself, "Idiot! You've faced worse than this before, stop getting distracted!"
"We're not going to let you hog all the fun for yourself!" Bakugo shouted, a demonic grin on his face.
Aizawa sighed and nodded to Thirteen, "It wasn't actually a recommendation you fool. Run while you still can."
"You aren't seriously going to fight them all on your own are you?!" Kirishima asked in shock.
"The majority of them are measured at a low B-Rank, that's enough for me."
Izuku found himself once more examining his teacher, doing his best to work out who this Hero was. He detected no Mana from him, as if he was hiding it, and he had yet to see his Quirk in action. He must've been at least high A-Rank or maybe even S-Rank to be so confident in such a lopsided fight.
Then Thirteen attempted to wave the students back to the entrance, "Come on! Let's leave this to Eraserhead!"
Everything clicked into place as Aizawa leapt off the stairs into battle and Izuku cried after him, "Wait!" But the pro didn't hesitate for a moment.
"What's wrong?!" Yaoyorozu asked him as she attempted to drag him back with the others.
Izuku gave her a grim look, "There's no way he can win… a C-Rank against all of those stands no chance."
"C-C-Rank?"
Thirteen grabbed the two of them with slightly inhuman strength and began pulling them away, "Leave this to him!" She shouted once more, "As that man is fond of saying, 'You can't be a Hero with just one trick.'"
But Izuku couldn't help but feel that dark pit of dread in his stomach and he shook off Thirteen's grasp, "Sorry, but you also can't be a Hero if you run away from everything. Come Forth." Nearly six dozen Shadows pulled themselves from Izuku, forming the Heroes' very own army, "Everyone else can run… but since they're here, I might as well get some experience," Izuku said with a sly smile.

"Do you really think you're a Love God?"
Flea's bloody eye socket was almost spewing out a fire as he glared at his best friend. "I know that you haven't recovered at all. You're absolutely crazy! Someone, help me tie him up in case he does crazy things again!"
"Don't tie me up! Let me go!"
Gao Huan's eyes were bloodshot too, making him look like a ferocious wolf. "You need someone to cover the retreat for you, and I have reasons not to leave, so I'll stay! Flea, don't argue with me, or none of us will get to go!
"Boss, stop the tank, please! You know I'm not crazy! I simply can't watch Jiang Xue suffer here. I really saw her just now. I really did! Please trust me! I won't return to the capital as long as she's here. It's impossible!"
"Stop the tank…"
The captain gave the order after a long silence.
They accelerated in a turn to temporarily escape from the Covenant Alliance's starship. Then, they found a hideout, where all of them crammed into two tanks and left most of the ammos as well as an intact tank for Gao Huan.
"Cut the crap. Go now. Don't stop me from finding my wife!"
Gao Huan grinned at the captain and Flea.
Flea glared at him, and his face suddenly collapsed.
"That's right. All of you, get the hell out of here!"
Before Flea said anything, the captain suddenly shut the door from the outside and stood next to Gao Huan.
"Boss!"
Gao Huan looked at his captain at a loss.
"Why are you looking at me? You think you can shoot down the enemy's starship when you can barely walk straight?"
The captain said casually, "Besides, I don't want to go to the capital either. I'm from the four families, and I'm among the few survivors who weren't killed in the Thick Soil Sector. I would only be executed as a deserter or a traitor if I go to the capital, wouldn't I?"
"But—"
Gao Huan stammered, "You'll be a hero. You're not among the leaders of the four families anyway, and you've done something wrong to the Imperium. Maybe you'll become an awesome war hero after some simple vetting. Like you said just now, we're not deserters but deliverers of important intelligence!"
"Some simple vetting?"
The captain laughed and spat a mouthful of bloodstained saliva before he opened his fingers and said, "Do you see my hands? They're born to kill people, not to write confessions and fill out forms! When the dogs of the military department interrogated me, I swore that I would never be vetted by anyone ever again. Neither the emperor nor Lei Chenghu or the f*cking Black Wind King will ever make me write a single word of confession for them!"
"Boss!"
Gao Huan did not know what to say. "If so, you can escape back to the Song family's territory. Didn't you say that General Yun stacked multiple shuttles? You could separate with them and go home!"
"Forget it! The way I see it, the four families are even more worthless than the reformists. Emperor Chengwu won't survive for long."
The captain waved his hand and said, "Besides, you know how I always piss people off. I wouldn't have been kicked to the frontline to defend the Thick Soil Sector with you if I had friends in my hometown in the first place, would I? Hahahaha!
"All in all, forget it. The world in the rear is not suitable for me. This place is good."
"Boss!"
"Captain!"
"Gorilla king!"
Hearing his laugh, all the soldiers couldn't hold on anymore. Their eyes turned red.
"Stop! Please don't be so emotional. I'm having goosebumps all over my body!"
The captain cursed and smashed the soldiers' heads back into the tank with his gun. "Do you know what you look like right now? Those a*s-kicking Cultivators!
"All in all, get the hell out of here in three seconds, go to the Long Wind Canyon, escape from this goddamn planet, report what happened here to the capital, and ask the emperor for rewards. If I'm rewarded too, you'll split up my share and help me f*ck a couple of bi*ches. Are we clear?
"Now, carry out my order!"
The captain smashed the last head back into the tank.
The noises of the starship came again from the mountains not far away.
The soldiers cried from the two tanks before they left unwillingly.
The captain was finally relieved when both of the tanks disappeared. He turned around and adjusted the turret on the last tank with Gao Huan.
They dismantled the protection devices of the turret and focused all the spiritual energy in the tank on it so that it could fire astoundingly for once.
The two of them worked in silence without saying anything.
When the noises were louder and louder and the crazy wind from the enemy's starship was about to blow away their disguise, Gao Huan suddenly asked, "Boss, do you think I really saw Jiang Xue just now?"
The captain looked at him thoughtfully, as if he were going to say something. But he paused for a moment before he continued, "Well, I think I saw her too."
"Really?"
Gao Huan almost burst into tears of joy. "You saw her too? Is it really her?"
"I… think so?"
The captain said, "How could I be certain when the whole battlefield was on fire? But I think it was her?"
"Then, did you see her movement?"
Gao Huan asked excitedly, "She hesitated when she attacked me, right? It means that she still has some feelings that aren't washed off, right?"
"Huh…"
The captain said, "Now that you pointed it out, I think that's exactly what happened."
"You're not lying to me? You're really not lying to me?"
Gao Huan finally shed tears. "You're my boss. You can't lie to me!"
"Of course I'm not. Have I ever lied to you?"
The captain narrowed his eyes and looked at the sky. "I will definitely go to hell and be broiled there after I die if I lie to you!"
"Well…"
Gao Huan was more or less embarrassed after the captain swore to him. After a long time, he said while blushing, "Boss, do you think I can get Jiang Xue back? Can I bring back her feelings and memories?" 
The captain stared at Gao Huan for a long time… until he laughed in the end.
He patted Gao Huan's shoulder and said in an unprecedentedly gentle voice, "Don't be silly. Even god will have goosebumps seeing how much you love your wife. You won't die. Like you said, you'll find your wife in the Covenant Alliance, wake up her feelings and memories, and escape from the s*ithole. Really. I promise you that it will happen!"
Gao Huan looked at his captain's uneven and hideous face and smiled like a fool.
Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep!
The cannon on the tank beeped when the starship had entered their best shooting range.
"Boss!"
Gao Huan licked his lips and said, "Should we say something heroic now? Like what we're fighting for?"
"Forget it!"
The captain couldn't help but laugh. "There's no chance for us to upload our battle videos. What are we fighting for? We're Immortal Cultivators. Do Immortal Cultivators need a reason to fight?
"Forget those a*sholes and scumbags. For once, we're completely fighting for ourselves. Are you ready? On the count of three. Three, two, one!"
Boom!
The cannon was fired, and Gao Huan was blown away by the blast that almost tore the tank apart. He was dizzy again.
In his trance, he saw a hideous fireball rising in the front of the shark-like starship, which consumed the front part of the starship and destroyed its anti-gravity system, making the starship fall as if it had been bitten by an invisible beast. 
He saw that his captain laughed and grabbed another two portable cannons that were thicker than his thighs. Opening fire at the people of the Covenant Alliance and pressing forward, the captain truly looked like an unbroken gorilla, until he ran out of ammunitions and was swallowed by fire.
Hearing the familiar cries of his brothers from his back, Gao Huan turned around, only to see Flea and the other soldiers marching back in the second tank.
Flea was dancing up and down on the top of the tank with crystal bombs all over his body. He was truly like a vigorous flea at this moment.
"Drunk Cat! Drunk Cat!"
Flea shouted delightedly, "Don't forget that your wife was the goddess of everybody in this team! How can we watch her be taken by those b*stards of the Covenant Alliance? Come on. We'll help you get her out together!"
Together with Flea, Leech, Black Leopard, and their brothers, Gao Huan charged at the enemy's formation following their captain's footprints.
When he was hit by that scorching bullet, he was still wearing a casual and confident smile.
"Wait for me, honey!"
Gao Huan thought, Boss promised me, and my brothers are so loyal. So, I can't die. I will find you, think of you, and take you back… home…

Bai Huangdi closed his eyes in satisfaction as he heard the sound of the drums hitting his ears.
Now that all three of them are allied against Demon King Seigneur, it will be much harder for him to win!

"Of course I remember." Bai Huangdi dismissively said as his body suddenly disappeared.
The next thing that Fang Lin knew, Bai Huangdi was in front of him, with Bai Huangdi's fist just above Fang Lin's head.
The space around Bai Huangdi's fist was trembling, as if there was a frightening power contained inside his fist.

"Hey, General Draco…" Bai Huangdi slowly said as his powerful fist slowly descended towards Fang Lin. "You said that if I lose the bet, I have to do one thing for you, right? Well, right now, you know what you can make me do, right?"

"…" Fang Lin could only look at the descending fist towards him as he realized what Bai Huangdi was scheming.
Since Fang Lin had won the bet, then he can request Bai Huangdi one thing, as long as that request will not be fatal or humiliating.
Bai Huangdi of course was not happy about this, as there could be a chance that the request given to him by Fang Lin might interfere on Bai Huangdi's mission.
Because of that, Bai Huangdi must have decided to force Fang Lin to make a request at this moment.
Right now, Bai Huangdi was about to attack Fang Lin, and in Bai Huangdi's opinion, Fang Lin will be killed by his attack.

Of course, Fang Lin will survive if he requests Bai Huangdi to stop his attack.
But once Fang Lin did that, he cannot make any more requests, as he just used the request to save his life!

With this tactic, Bai Huangdi will be able to use Fang Lin's free request without Bai Huangdi suffering any loss at all!

"What a devious fellow!" Fang Lin thought sullenly to himself.
Since Fang Lin was acting like a native right now, then he must also act scared of Bai Huangdi's attack.

This means Fang Lin cannot just use his real strength to avoid Bai Huangdi's attack. 
If he did that, his identity as the real Hero will be revealed.
 In that case, Fang Lin has no choice but to request Bai Huangdi to stop his attack.
But will Fang Lin just allow himself to be outwitted like this? Of course not!

Fang Lin gave Bai Huangdi a cocky smile as he said,

"In that case… Hero, I request that you will not harm me starting from this moment until the day you leave."
"Che." Bai Huangdi let out an annoyed tsk as he realized he had been one-upped by Fang Lin again.
Bai Huangdi was annoyed, as the request that Fang Lin made will basically force Bai Huangdi to not attack Fang Lin until the day that he left.
"Tsk, you are lucky that your quick thinking has saved you." Bai Huangdi said as he started to go back to the military compound. 
But before Bai Huangdi could leave, Illusion Fang Yu gave Bai Huangdi a suspicious look as she said,
"Hey Bai Huangdi, how can General Draco be sure that you won't break your promise to not attack him? In my opinion, I think you should make a Soul Oath right now!"
"Che!" Bai Huangdi gave a seething look to Fang Lin, who looked like he does not understand what a Soul Oath means.

"Since Miss Fang Yu wanted me to do that, then I shall make a Soul Oath."

Bai Huangdi then took a deep breath before he said,
"I, Bai Huangdi, swear with my soul that I shall not attack this pesky guy in front of me until the day that I leave this planet. If I ever violate this oath, the heavens are free to obliterate my soul…"

"Great!" Illusion Fang Yu smilingly said as she gave Bai Huangdi a praising look. "So you can also man up sometimes huh."

"Hehehe…" After receiving this praise, the only thing that Bai Huangdi did was foolishly smile as he went back to the military compound.
As for Veronica, she was currently looking at Fang Lin, as if she had been impressed by what Fang Lin did. 
As for Illusion Fang Yu, she was just standing there as she gave knowing looks to Veronica.
Upon seeing this, the only thing that Fang Lin could do was to wear a strained smile.
Fang Lin then looked at Illusion Fang Yu and at Veronica as he said,
"Well then, Massacre Hero and Big Sis Hero, welcome to the Alliance of the Alliance Continent! I am sure that both of you will be satisfied with this alliance! With you three banding together, no Demon King can ever hope of winning!"

Genie, who just watched what happened, could not help but laugh as she saw the trap laid by Fang Lin.
 Bai Huangdi must have thought that he made a Soul Oath to not attack General Draco.
But the truth was that Bai Huangdi made a Soul Oath to not attack Fang Lin, as Fang Lin was disguised as General Draco!

"Jorm, your foster father's disciple is great, right?" Genie said to Jorm, who was still nestled at the top of her head. "His quick thinking is impressive just like Wang Hao's."

"….." As usual, Jorm still looked extremely bored as he just stared at the screen listlessly. 

"Really…" Seeing that Jorm would not give her a reply, Genie just sighed as she continued to watch.

But while she was watching, Genie suddenly felt an ill feeling that flashed inside her mind.
With her authority as the Yama Successor, Genie was able to ascertain the cause of her ill feeling.

"There!" 
Using her authority, Genie discovered that there was something anomalous happening at the planet of the Final Trial.
Genie could see that a 10-meter tall space crack suddenly appeared at the ocean between the Alliance and Evil Axis Continent.

Because of its size, this space crack was undetected by the trial participants in the Abandoned Planet.

But Genie was able to see the space crack as she observed it from the outside.
Upon closer observations, Genie saw that tendrils of white mist were slowly coming out of this space crack, which diffused to the air around the space crack.
Genie clenched her fists upon seeing this. Her eyes narrowed as she began walking away from the screen. She gritted her teeth as she thought to herself,
"So, the Dreamworld is making their move now huh. Since they are so eager to act now, then it will be the time for me to act too!"
But before Genie could leave her house, she remembered that there was still a baby perched at the top of her head.
"Jorm." Genie said to the stubborn Jormungandr. "Big Sis is about to do something very important, and it will be extremely dangerous. So I want you to stay here at my house and just be a good baby."

"...…." The way that Jorm glared at Genie and his silence was enough to indicate that his answer to Genie's command was a big resounding NO.

"Sigh…" After seeing this stubbornness, Genie decided to just get done with it.
She waved her hands, and the unyielding Jorm's eyes began to droop as he started to get sleepy.
In no time at all, Jorm fell asleep, with adorable snoring sound coming out of him.
"Plop."
Genie then removed Jorm from her head as she called the old man that she was talking with earlier. 
"Woosh~"
Just a second later, and the red-bearded old man reappeared in front of Genie, and it was quite obvious that he was excited right now.

"So, how did your wife react to seeing those kids?" Genie asked with a withered expression as she lifted the sleeping Jorm with her left hand. "Is she delighted?"

"She was in cloud nine." The old man replied as he caressed his beard. "She immediately started playing with them! Even that Solomon could not escape my wife's hold! Hahaha!"

"Then can you bring this child to her too?" Genie said as she passed Jorm to the old man. "With this kid joining them, I am sure that your wife will be more delighted."
"Okay, I will bring him." But instead of looking happier, the old man started to look solemn as he gave a serious look to Genie.
"So Genie, it seems like you have seen that space crack then."

"I have seen it clearly with my two eyes." Genie replied as she stared at the old man with determination. "Since it appeared there at the Final Trial, I have decided to go there and personally deal with it."

"Well, good luck with that." The old man said as he started to fly away, bringing the sleeping Jorm with him.

But before the old man could be fully gone, he said a sentence which prompted a shiver on Genie.

"Oh Genie, if you mess this up, I will have no choice but to punish you, ok?"

"Sheesh, I understand, old geezer…"

After a hard live as the hope of the people, one of the heros finaly defeat the last Demon King. But in yours last moments, the enemy casted a spell that converted his soul and the body of the hero as energy to send the soul of the hero inside the laws of the Dungeon.
Now the former hero shall survive as rise again as a monters, will he hold his old belifs against the Dungeon or change to a new being.

This was the third time I had to listen to this drivel, ever since I had beaten the demon Lord, I have being ruling this dukedom in place of my 'wife' who is seriously ill. My reward for ending the greatest threat this world has seen is to settle disputes between merchants, farmers and knights. I very much love my 'reward', if I were a female Hero, I would be in the prince's or King's Harem right now living it up in the capital but no, I'm way to much of a threat for that to happen and well I do also have a dick...
Back on topic, this is the third meeting I have had to sit in on today, this time it is my fault that the taxes are too high on the farmers, even though my wife set the rate at a third of what the other dukedoms demand. We are not rich however it is still plenty for them to live off of, my 'Wife' was a push over before she fell ill, I have a gut feeling that the poison that troubles her was given to her by one of the leading merchants here but that is not really my business. After all  this is just a political marriage for me.
"You are really pushing it today, what is your name?"

The farmer appeared to be shocked by the lack of care in my tone, composing himself he said" David. We the common folk have worked hard to feed the armies that fought  off the Demon king, we gave extra so you 'Heros' could leech off the country after  our victory. All we want is fair compensation."
I couldn't help myself as I broke out into an uncontrollable laugh, looking at the farmer I asked" Did you serve against the Demon Lord?"
"I didn't but why is that impor---"


"Then what do you know about the Heros? What do you know about the 'Victory' of your country, I SAVED YOU. Killing the Demon Lord fell to me and I did it with my bare hands, did you stand and fight? Did you fuck, I bet you hid behind these very walls that you are here criticizing, people like you make me sick. You know what? From now on the tax of food on the farms will be raised by 10% to bring it in line with the rest of the kingdom, Guards get rid of him before I do permanently."
The guards looked at me like I was a tyrant however this is the 100th time that this has happened since I became the lord here, the people feel like I owe them as they fed me and clothed me however I was plucked from my normal life and told to kill a being with so much more strength than me or face death. So I did, killed it but that wasn't enough was it? Why is it never enough? Saving them all with no casualties, was so hard, it nearly broke me, in fact I feel like it has. 
My compassion is dead, my love for others is gone, all I want is the be left alone but I can't, the whole fucking kingdom knows my face. Why don't I leave to another kingdom you ask? Well I tried that just before my marriage, as I approached the border, a team consisting of the 9 other strongest heros met me at the border and beat me into submission, one on one I could take any of them, but 9 vs 1? I mean I'm not a God.

"Audiences have been canceled for today, anyone with an issue with that can come and fight me."

Married off to some wife in the south of the kingdom, to be forgotten and buried along with the other male Heros. I control the small dukedom between the Azure and Demon Kingdom, so imagine my surprise when I get a quest;

'Unite the demon clans, rule the world, destroy humanity, become the first Demon King.'

Finally, my boredom can end....

People were just doing their things like Going out, Working, Killing monsters, Crimes, Going to bed with their wife or girlfriend, Etc but Far in space something was coming towards earth, something big. But people that saw the asteroid that just changed the orbit were shocked. They were screwed.
"But this..." Said an old man looking up to space with his telescope.
"Initiating docking procedure." Said an Astronaut in space
"Roger." someone else nodded. but there was something big in front of the sun the Astronaut looked up and saw an Astroid.
"Elevating from 6 to 9 on the Torino scale!" The Astroid was heading towards Z-City
City A - Hero Association HQ
"The course suddenly shifted?"
"I see."
"Then we will discuss how best to deal with the situation." Where the HA workers saying.

"Should we go?" Genos said on his phone waiting for a response. "Alright." He said, he walked to Saitama "Master, for some reason the hero Association wants us. We should go." Genos said.
"Oh ok, just wait a bit I need to wear my hero clothing" Saitama replied.
 
City Z - Hero Association Building.
Genos and Saitama walked into the building and they heard someone talking to them
"Ah, you would be Genos and Saitama?" Said an old dude "My name is Bang. Nice to meet you two." Bang said
'Bang, Class s rank 3, a.k.a Silver Fang. He possesses true skill' Genos though
"The Association called us in," Genos said looking at Bang.
"Everyone's at Headquarters. This little branch office is empty just now. Each of the Class S heroes got a call here. But we're the only ones who showed up." Bang Said but Saitama wasn't that interesting to him.
"Why is that so?" Genos asked
"too far away, or perhaps they're busy," Bang said. "Of course, some of the more cold-blooded ones simply don't bother. After all, we're called up only. When there's an impossible problem they want us to take care of it. Today's no exception. The threat level is Dragon a worst-case scenario. 35 minutes from now, a huge meteor will strike City Z. They are asking if nearby Class S heroes can do anything about it." Bang said and it annoyed Saitama cuz of the long explanation.
"A Meteor?" Genos was shocked.
"Apparently, it suddenly changed paths. That means the end for us. The impact will wipe out city Z." Genos was speechless while Saitama was still bored
"Do you have any skill or powers?" Bang asked Saitama
"No, I only punch that's all. And you talk too much." Saitama answered. Bang just deadpanned and ignored him.
Attention! This is an announcement from the Hero Association.
Bang just smirked, "people are sure to panic."
"And you, old fellow?" Genos asked
"'Old fellow', is it? Call me Bang." he said,
"You are not evacuating?" Genos asked
"My dojo has been in my family for generations," Bang said as he was walking away from Genos. " I cannot abandon it" he stopped walking he did some kind of cool move.
"Fist of Flowing Water Crushing Rock," Bang said. "Heard of it?" But Genos and Saitama were gone.
"They left..."
 
People were screaming and running.
"Emergency evacuation warning. The threat level is immediately" Said the alarm. People can't even escape, the street is crowded. "21 more minutes until meteor impact."
"It's huge..."
"No way we can escape that." said a police officer

Genos and Saitama were jumping from building to building, going straight to the meteor.
'So many people have given up hope of survival. It is not just City Z that is in danger. The neighboring cities will also sustain damage. It is too late to evacuate.' Genos thought
'The meteor is huge. Can it survive my punch?' Saitama thought.
"I did not expect to be testing this prototype so soon!"
"Master, I need to test my prototype first if it doesn't get destroyed then you'll do it!" Genos said looking at Saitama.
"Sure" Saitama replied. "I'm going somewhere I'll come back soon before the meteor hits the earth."
Genos was holding a Suitcase. There was a button on the suitcase, he pressed it.
"Arms Mode" The Suitcase turned into two arms.
'Let me see if an attack from my incinerate cannon at full power will do the trick.' Genos thought 'Master Saitama lives here too.' Something flew above Genos.
'Is that...?' The thing that flew landed and it looks like a robot.
"You are Bofoi, correct?" Genos said.
"And you are the new boy, Genos. Come to stop the meteor?" Bofoi asked Genos.
"Yes." Genos nodded. 'Class S rank 7. A hero who uses intense firepower to obliterate his opponents along with everything in their vicinity. Does he also live in city Z? Or did he rush here putting his life at risk?' Genos thought.
"Bofoi. I need your help." Genos asked Bofoi.
"I refuse" Bofoi replied.
"Why," Gens asked. "I only came to field test my new weapon. The meteor is a perfect target." Bofoi said. and explained why he refused.
"A test? If that meteor hits you too will die." Genos said.
"I will not. What you're talking to right now is a remotely controlled drone. Sorry to disappoint you, but my life's not at stake here." Bofoi said. "Also, I am not Bofoi. I am'Metal Knight' Heroes call each other by their hero names, not real names. Everyone knows that." They looked at the sky and saw that the meteor was closer.
"Looks like it's time to end our little chat." Metal Knight said.
Genos Jumped to a higher building than he was before. "All right"
"Firing missiles!" Metal Knight yelled and launched his missiles. The missiles were in the way for Genos to shoot his incinerate cannon.
"Metal Knight? I cannot " Genos said looking at metal knight then looked back to the meteor."I cannot fire with his missiles in the way."
The missiles exploded on the meteor. Creating big black smoke covering the sun.
"Amazing. such destructive power. This hero is dangerous. I must be wary" But the meteor didn't even get a scratch from metal knight's missiles. Clearing the black smoke.
"Not quite potent enough, eh?" the metal knight said
"33 seconds left until impact. To fire my incineration cannon at full power, I need five seconds to charge it with my body's energy" Genos continued "But the target is already close. And if I do take it out, what then? The meteor may break apart and still cause a disaster. But even that... " blah blah he talked further.
"First of being calm," Someone said behind Genos "I see you've lost composure. You are far too you to be worried about failure." Bang said and continued with his little speech. "When your back's up against the wall, just muddle through. The outcome won't change. So that's what is best"
'Muddling through is best...' Genos thought. He ripped his shirt and opened his chest. 'He is right. If the outcome will not change...' he grabbed his core ready to put it in his arm. 'Then i... How can I die without giving it my all?' He puts the core in his arm.
"Bang, get down!" Genos yelled. 'I will no longer think about failure or repercussions! I will just pour everything I have...'
"...Into one last shot!" he shouted and shot his incineration cannon at full power. Hitting the meteor. He was yelling.
"Damn, it's not working Genos said.
"No! I think I see the meteor being pushed back." bang said to Genos
"Really?" Genos Said
"Oh no. It was just my imagination." Bang said.
"You old fool!" Genos yelled.
'So this... will be my grave. Btw where is Saitama-sensei?' Genos said in his mind
"Nine more seconds. Get out of here, Bang." Genos said. Feeling down he couldn't scratch the meteor.
"Old man, take care of Genos," Saitama said walking.
"You're that new S class. You can't destroy the meteor it's too strong." Bang said
"Don't worry old man. Everything is under control." Saitama said to Bang.
Genos looked at his master. Saitama jumped up to the sky.
"Master?!"

"Gonna fall on my town!" Saitama yelled and punched the meteor. The meteor exploded into pieces.
"He shattered it! Unbelievable. But..." Bang said.
The fragments that came from the meteor all fell down on city Z. Still making a disaster.
Saitama landed on the ground again. With a bored look. "Guess that settles that."
 
Three Days Later
"Although City Z was able to avoid total destruction, the city was still devastated, with the effects of the meteor fragments visible everywhere." Was the news all talking about
"If only Metal Knight used those missiles to destroy the fragments. If you had worked with Metal Knight, the damage could have been minimized" Genos said. Watching the news.
"But that Metal knight guy. Wasn't interested in helping right?" Saitama said and sat. "So stop worrying about it. I think we kept the damage to a minimum. After all, no one died." Saitama said
'He is right. Master's punch killed the meteor's momentum. Theoretically, the shockwaves from the meteor would have annihilated everything. stopping it was nothing short of a miracle." Genos said as always with his long speech.
"By the way. do you think we moved up in the ranking?" Saitama asked Genos.
"Yes, we did. I went from rank 17 to 16. Metal knight also moved up from rank 7 to 6. Master, you shot up from Rank 15 to 11." Genos answered his question.
"Number 11?!" Saitama said shocked. "From 15 to 11?! That's crazy!" Saitama yelled.
"Not at all. Your performance was worthy of Class S rank 7. After all, it was a threat level Dragon. If there had been no damage, I am sure you would be at class s rank 5." Genos said and continued. "But I think the Hero Association assumed that Metal Knight and I destroyed some of the meteors as well," Genos Said smiling that his sensei get what he deserved.
"Ah ok." Saitama replied.

Just One punch man but what will happen if Saitama's feats get recognized? a little bit of romance and some changes, and the story will be almost the same but a bit different.

          

       I wasn't always like this, a monster, I was once what was considered normal. That, of course, was a long time ago. I am very sure that I haven't suffered as you have, dear survivor, but I'd like to at least keep the history of this shattered world. I will not be in history books that I know thus you will only know me by my research name, 307. This is not a sad story, nor is this history of those who speak in the language you are reading in. This is the story of Verokia.

The God Children Project 

    When the Planet of Verokia split in half, scientists made a study to make the concept of heroes real. They took children from each country only to find the ones that survived were from a small and secretive country called Allerand. This was terrible news to the head scientist who was a man of a strange little planet called earth. The lead creatures of Earth who persistently call themselves humans, the master race, detest the Allerish due to their winnings in many wars. The children were put through torture and many experiments until they held a very important power. The most famous was a small five-year-old boy who was known as 307, he was able to shift into a simple songbird. This was not why he became famous though, he earned his fame since he was the only child to escape that night only ended in tragedy though. He killed the only Earth woman who survived the trip to Verokia. She was also the wife to his caretaker, Mathias Lord, he had sworn to keep a close eye on the miscreant until the end of his days. 

The corridors were cold and quiet when he made his way to 307's cell, an old song his wife sang to his daughters cursed his mind as he looked at the door. He felt his heart shatter all over again while standing there, he had never felt so alone in his life until now. He took a deep breath and opened the door to look at this small boy, he still could not grasp the fact that someone who looked so fragile could kill someone in the way this child did. But, this was the known danger of the job. 

"Good morning 307," he spoke harshly while his anger consumed him. It felt like lava, boiling his bones and holding his heart as he watched this boy look away and refuse to answer. He studied the heartless killer for a moment. 307 was thin with light brown skin, he had short auburn hair and lifeless, brown eyes. The child had a cut on his elf-like ear and a scar on his left cheek where his wife was able to defend herself. His clothes were like all the others, a light grey shirt with tattered pants hung loosely on his delicate frame. He deceivingly looked like he was made of glass which made it easier for him to lure people into a painful end. He shifted anxiously while waiting for whatever hell he would have to go through today, Mathias indeed planned a horrible punishment for the boy, but it was all going to start with a  simple conversation. 

"How did it feel… when you did it? Did you feel victory?" He prepared many syringes. "You killed a kind-hearted woman, she was a mother of three beautiful children. You killed their mother." 

"Mother? Is that what you're going to use against me? Yes, that's appropriate, bring up a loving mother to an orphan to hurt them." The small boy's voice croaked like a frog due to dehydration and sleep deprivation. It made the poor scientist smile hearing the broken melody. He picked up the first syringe and looked over his shoulder. 

"You do make a convincing point, guess I should remember you have no heart." he walked over and stuck the needle into his fragile forehead and put the burning poison into his bloodstream only to listen to 307's tired screams. "This is small compared to the pain you gave me, this is ALSO small compared to the pain I'll put you through today!" He pulled up a stool and watched the boy scream in agony. His cries were soon accompanied by other children who feared they might be next. Mathias could not help but laugh, this became his new entertainment. Day after day he would put 307 through the same torture until it became mundane. He started his new fun by taking a small part of his ear, then it escalated to his stomach, later a kidney, lung, intestine. He replaced the human-like parts with machines. 307 had to learn how to fix his damaged parts and survive like this until the Anti project revolution broke in and saved him and the last surviving few. 

Mathias was killed during the revolution but his work still haunts the now seven-year-old 307. He was put in the survivor home and the adults there affectionately call him Jay Willams. He became the town's sweet bluebird which was his ticket to fame. History books depicted him as a great hero and tourists prayed to him like he was a god.  Jay was not pleased by this treat
