So its been a while and I never addressed it.

The surgery went well! I had my trach removed a few weeks ago. 

So now cancer-free! scar is better

Other than that, My girlfriend had me watch all the fast in the furious shows. 

It's her favorite superhero franchise or what she said...I didn't get it until the fifth or six one...because I never watched it before

I'm not really into superhero movies to be honest. I read comics so I know how it really is so its completely different. You think anime live-action is bad but...no...they completely change characters. Thanos in the comics had no noble goal. He wanted to impress Lady death. Mass Genocide to get some with Lady death! 


I also been watching some of the live-action of Disney. It's strange to see them in English. growing up I only seen wizard of oz in English. Wait I saw frozen in Japanese so that was different.

3:30 PM – City Mall Bacoor West Wing, TechZone

Inside a store, Mark sat on a wheeled high-back chair. In front of him, it was a long counter table what was supposed to be used when attending the customers of the store. There were six laptops placed in a row on the table. Interconnected cables were lined on the floor. Some cables were plugged into extension sockets while the others were connecting the other five laptops to the one he was currently using with a router.

The screen on the laptop he was using kept switching and every time he did something at the current screen, the screen of one of the other laptops would also change. Mark was using the laptop in front of him as the server and controlled the other laptops by remote access. 

What was he doing? Mark was downloading a lot of things with haste, Anime, Offline Games, Softcopies of Novels, Movies, and etc. using the other five laptops. Other people who would see what he was doing would say that it was stupid and unnecessary but to him, these are the few things he would not let go.

He knew that these things would be gone for who knows how long or might never even return as the apocalypse ensued. He was an Otaku after all.

Satisfied with how much he did, he extended his hand upwards and stretched his back. He sat here for about an hour already so his body felt stiff. 

Mark looked outside the store. The people who survived the massacre that happened inside the TechZone were proactively cleaning the place.

When they finished killing all the zombies in this place more than an hour ago, including the zombies stuck inside some stores, the people inside the closed store voluntarily went out of hiding. There were only twenty-three of them. They had been watching all what transpired inside the TechZone through the gaps and holes on the steel shutters that protected them.

As the survivors stepped out of the store they hid at, many of them found their own places and vomited while the rest had pale faces as they looked around. When they were hiding, what they could see outside was limited and that was why they had extreme reactions after seeing the whole scene. That was just how nauseating the aftermath of the event inside the TechZone was.

It was then that the shutters in front of another closed store were pulled up and fifteen people came out. Surprisingly, the ones who came out were survivors that came from the floors below. 

Mark expected it that there were people hiding in that store but what startled him inside was the two people among that group. One was the man wearing a suit and sunglasses before, though the sunglasses were missing now. The other was a man in his twenty's who had a shaggy short hair, raised nose and sharp eyes, wearing a dirty-yellow uniform and black slacks. He remembered that this guy was among the group of college students he saw before, together with Ange and Paula.

When that student saw Paula, he ran towards her and gave her a tight hug. Paula was startled and she immediately pushed the man away. Paula's face really looked bitter and sad. Still, the man did not stop on trying to talk to her. Even if he did not receive any reply.

Seeing what was happening and since the place was already cleared of zombies, he decided to fetch the girls left on the rooftop.

As Mark walked back into the TechZone along with the girls, he could see some of the survivors crying beside some of the bodies while some of them were looking around checking the bodies one by one.

When Reyah followed Mark and entered carrying her daughter, her face immediately paled and she covered her daughter's eyes. She then saw the dead children inside. By reflex, she hugged her daughter tighter as negative thoughts entered her mind. Seeing her reaction, Mark led her to one of the clean stores to sit down and bring her daughter away from the gruesome scene.

Ange also paled when she entered but the pale color of her face turned red when she saw Paula being pestered by the male student. She immediately stood between the two protecting Paula behind her. The male student did not immediately recognize Ange as she came wearing her armor and helmet so he protested and question who she is. When she removed her helmet, the male's face turned pale but he still tried to argue back. 

He was then flung away by a single right straight from Ange to his face. If Paula did not stop her, she might have done more than just that.

Mei on the other hand had no reaction on what she saw inside. She even stared at the mangled bodies a few times while following behind Mark. 

By this time, Mark already removed his helmet as he felt suffocated after wearing it for a long time. Because of this, they could see his face not showing any emotion as his gaze roamed at the dead bodies.

Ange noticed that Mark and Mei who were walking around without changes in their faces while looking at the nauseating scene around them. She then said something, though not loud, was enough to be heard by Mark. He then coldly glared at Ange making her hide behind Paula.

Ange just dubbed the two as the "Broken Couple".

Well, who would not think of that after seeing their unchanging expressions?

Still, many of the males inside could not help but glance or even stare at Mei. She could only move closer to Mark and held his left arm as she tried to shrink away from those gazes.

Feeling her insecurity, Mark immediately brought Mei out after bringing the mother and daughter into a store. He also called Paula and Ange who followed without a second thought. They only wished to find a reason to get away from this lecher. Still, the male student tried to follow the two. 

That time though, it was Mark who blocked him. Mark did not call him so there should be no reason for him to follow. The student tried to argue with him flaunting his relation to the two girls. Apparently, this guy was Paula's boyfriend.

As Mark was already irritated with this guy as he also threw gazes at Mei before and his gaze was a very unpleasant one.  So, Mark went for a harsher move.

He pulled his shotgun from his side and shoved the barrel at the guy's forehead and said in a very cold voice.

"I ONLY CALLED THE TWO OF THEM AND NOT YOU. SO, SCRAM."

The male student paled and his back was drenched in cold sweat. He gulped before he nodded and backed off slowly.

When the hindrance was gone, he brought the girls at a storage room of a certain store. Inside, there were a few round containers of mineral water, cosmetic products like soap and perfume, there was even a set of gel plaster, and looking around, the large storage room had clothes, lots and lots of women's clothes.

Ange and Paula immediately understood what Mark wanted them to do. The two looked at Mei then to Mark and nodded. He did not have to say much about it. Mark told them what clothes they needed to choose using a zombie apocalypse perspective before he stepped out of the room. Outside, he leaned on the wall beside the door and stood there guarding the room.

While waiting, Mark fiddled with his phone and checked if the mall's free Wi-Fi was still working. There, though as slow like a snail as usual, he still managed to connect to the internet. Seeing this, he felt happy. He would be able to proceed through his plans and gather information at the same time.

He then opened the social media account that he rarely opened and logged in. While reading the posts of his friends online, it seemed many of them were trapped on their work places or at home. Some were even calling for help. The desperation was present with a few of them that they even posted their addresses online despite the danger it could bring.

At that time, Mark realized that he had to change some of his plans.

It was just a normal morning but it was unknown to many that the apocalypse already started.

The origin was not determined but the infected started to appear after a cosmic event happened just outside of the Earth’s atmosphere.

The people and animals turned into man-eating mutants and zombies while some of the lucky ones gained superhuman abilities. Every living creature that had not "turned" started to evolve as the whole world was affected by the Mutagen. 

Follow Mark, an Otaku, a Gamer and a Shut-in that got trapped in the middle of the apocalypse due to an uncanny reason. Using his unconventional thinking, knowledge and abilities, how far can he go in surviving the apocalypse filled with zombies, mutated beings and dangerous people as a survivor in an overpopulated country?

TLDR: As with every end of a book, I will be taking a break and will resume posting on 12th November 2018. I know, it's a longer break than usual, but since it is the end of Act One, I think it should be justified... Oh and since this author thoughts is really long, it really is a too long didn't read, lol.

Hi there guys! Linodo here! WE FINALLY MADE IT!!! We finally made it to the end of ACT ONE!!! *Confetti pops!* Haha, that's right, these first four books are actually part of one act. I know, I know, if it took me about five to six months to complete one act, how long would it actually take for me to finish the entire story?! Three years? Five years? Or should I go full Oda and write it for twenty plus years?

Well, joking aside, I didn't plan for my writing to take this long. If you followed me from the start, you would have known that I wrote Book One in just one month during my semester break. Naturally, the chapter length and quality of writing have been steadily improving (at least in my opinion), so there's that, but the real issue that I have is time management. As a final year university student, school is my full-time job. The most important thing that I must focus on is my school, even if it means decreasing the release rate of Spirit Immortal. And let me tell you, it sure was a challenge. University courses were tough enough, now I have even less time to study and do assignments? There were even times where I just wanted to write an apology letter to you guys and drop the entire novel altogether. However, there was no way that I could do that. Why?

Because I love writing.

I don't know why, no matter how stressed I am, when the clock ticks ever closer to 11 pm, I look forward to when my chapter to go live so that I can see how you guys liked it. You guys don't know it, but there were many days where I would refresh my latest chapters just so that I could see your thoughts about the chapter. In fact, I might be refreshing this chapter right now! Hahaha! So don't be shy to leave a comment or a review about the novel. Let me tell you now, the fear of an author isn't a negative comment or a negative review, the true fear is that no one reads your work.

Before I go in depth about the things you guys really want to know, let me tell you a little bit of my background. As many of you already know, I am an avid anime fan and got into reading web novels because I wanted to read light novels (the source material of a significant portion of anime). To tell you the truth, I didn't like reading books growing up. That's why my English is somewhat lacking as compared to most authors. I did, however, love watching shows/movies/cartoons. I watched many Chinese/Hong Kong dramas, American movies when the K-Wave first started I'd even watched Korean dramas. But, my one true love was still anime. I grew up watching Inuyasha, Shaman King, Naruto, One Piece, Katekyo Hitman Reborn… The list goes on… 

The peak of my anime obsession came when I was about 13-15. Those three years, I probably watched like two-three hundred anime titles, and that's when my life really changed. I watched timeless pieces like Code Geass, FMA, Cowboy Bebop, Fate/Zero, Hunter X Hunter… I delved into comedy anime like Baka Test (which I finished reading on Baka-Tsuki), Daily Lives of High School Boys, Seto no Hanayome, Seitokai Yakuindomo, Niichijou… I had even watched Shoujo anime (even though I was not a young girl) like Seitoukaichou wa Maid-sama, Ouran High School Host Club, Kimi ni Todoke and thoroughly enjoyed them.

However, up till that point, watching anime was just an entertainment hobby of mine. Only after I was exposed to Slice of Life anime did my opinion change. I first watched Angel Beats, and when the ending came, I found myself in tears. I was amazed at how a single storyline could affect my emotions that much. Following that, I binged watch several Slice of Life anime. Air, Kanon and so on. One day, at the peak of my obsession, I discovered a little title called Clannad. I soon discovered that it was by the same company that made some of the titles that I'd watched before, so I went into it with some high hopes. And well, season one was touching, but it was well within my expectations, after watching Angel Beats and whatnot. However, Clannad had something that the other titles did not. A second season. Curious, I thought, well why not?

Boy, was I not prepared for that fucking second season… Clannad: After Story destroyed me. If any of you haven't watched it, stop reading this post and go watch it now. I don't care if you drop my story, I'm just content that I had enriched your lives by letting you know how awesome After Story is. For the first time in my life, after watching a series, I felt empty. I felt as if there was an endless void that ripped my heart in half and that feeling lasted for a solid week. Ever heard of feels train? Clannad: After Story is like getting run over by the feels train while the conductor used the feels bat to hit you every single second. So, once I was finished griefing, I thoroughly reflected upon my experience. How could a story, that had no living creatures in any part of its production, tear me into shreds emotionally? Then, I had an epiphany. It was all about the story. You see, all forms of entertainment that I enjoyed, movies, dramas, anime, manga, light novels, video games, they all had one thing in common. They all had a story. It sounds stupid to say, but it was something that my young mind had pieced together. So, a slight flicker of passion started to burn within me. I wanted to write stories that made people feel that way.

As I grew older, I started watching many more mature animes, like Kara no Kyoukai, Death Parade, Death Note that all had a theme of morality behind it. Instead of the emotional train wreck that Clannad had put me through, it made me question the existence of everything, something that very little Hollywood or Chinese/Korean/Japanese drama ever could. Also, let me shout out a little-known anime called "The Legend of the Legendary Heroes." Severely underrated in my opinion and I can't seem to get my friends to start it. Perhaps you guys would after reading through this post. :p

I wanted to be like Maeda Jun (writer of Clannad, Angel Beat and Kanon) and write touching and thought-provoking titles, and what better way than to write a web novel? Naturally, I'm nowhere near the level of Maeda Jun and the folks at Key, but I'm trying my hardest. After all, how could I climb Mount Everest without taking the first step? If I could make you guys feel even a fraction of what I felt after watching Clannad: After Story, then I'm content. 

So yeah, before this turns into an anime recommendation section, let's talk about the pacing of the story, which was a significant issue that had been brought up by multiple users. As a novice writer, I'm still trying to figure out when I should speed up the pace and when there should be more exposition. At the start of this novel, I had a more direct 'tell not show' writing style which is something that I am still trying to fix till this day. Furthermore, I feel that my writing has a systematic structure that had been ingrained into me due to my numerous years of schooling and learning how to write reports, essays and whatnot. That's why I have been reading multiple successful author's works, trying to find the best style that fits me. Trust me, I have been researching. I read many successful works and analysed their styles. I took time off going to social events just so that I could read/write more. After all, I want to improve my writing. I want to deliver the awesome story of Spirit Immortal (I'll get to that later) in the best possible writings to you guys. In conclusion, my writing style still is a work in progress, and I hope that you could bear with me as I continue my experimentation.

Okay, now that the soapy stuff is out of the way, let's discuss the actual story. This is something that I don't often do in Author's Thoughts or any comments in general as I am not a good secret keeper. I'm afraid that I might accidentally divulge everything, in an accidental comment or otherwise. So I'll try to be very careful here.

The theme of Act One is family. Or to be more precise, what is a family? This is something that I had deliberated on for years, even before I decided to become an author. In Chinese culture, there is this saying, "Blood is thicker than water." I'm sure many of you who are frequent readers of eastern fantasy have come across this quote. However, one day I asked the question. Is blood really thicker than water? Why is it that just because someone is related to you, they must be closer than anyone else in the world? That's how the idea of the orphans came about. I wanted to explore the relationships between children, who have no clue about whether their related or not, and see whether they can be as close as real family. Furthermore, I wanted to see if the adults that adopted them, in this case, the First Elder, the Instructor, etc. would treat them as if they were their own children. And I tried to show you guys that they genuinely loved for the orphans, albeit in a flawed way.

Let me give another hypothetical example. A child was adopted as a baby by a foster family. The child was loved for, cared for and even treated as the most important family member by those who had no blood relations to him. However, one day, when the baby is grown to be fifteen years of age, the biological mother demands that the foster family hand over the child back to her custody. Is it truly right? If we're going by the doctrine that "Blood is thicker than water," the child should be reunited with his mother. However, she is no longer part of his 'family.' There had been no ties of love, memories shared or anything that could bind the two together. The foster family, which had treated him as their own son, is now his true 'family.' That's why when Shin found out about the truth of the Awter Clan, he didn't go full on rage mode and vow to kill everyone who had the Frie Clan's blood. It was because even though he is the heir of the Awter Clan, in his mind, he had no ties to it. 

Junius, on the other hand, is the polar opposite. He loved his family and would do anything in his power to reunite the orphans with their rightful 'family,' those that shared the blood of the Awter Clan. Although his purpose is righteous, his methods are flawed, which led to the unhappy circumstances in 'The Unfulfilled Promise.'

And now… We are finally addressing the elephant in the room. I'm sure many of you who read the last chapter are just dying to wait for me to talk about this. The deaths of Ariel, Lily and Linus. 

When I planned out the entire story, this was the turning point of everything. Ariel's death. The promise that had been made in chapter one will forever remain unfulfilled. I had actually run into some issues when I first started to write book four. A problem that no author should have… I didn't want to kill off Ariel. I had grown too attached to her antics, and I wanted Shin and her to remain together and become some sort of power couple. I had even toyed with the idea of re-planning the story from scratch just to keep her alive. However, the more I thought about it, the more it would ruin my beautiful ending. If Ariel lived, the ending wouldn't make any sense. So, I stuck to my guns, and I wrote the initially planned story, as much as I didn't like to. I'm sure that there will be many who will dislike my choice to kill Ariel and might even drop the novel altogether. And that's fine. I can't force you to read my story anyway.

I'm sure you guys can tell that I try my best to avoid the Wuxia/Xianxia cliche storylines that follow the same arc over and over. However, that, in turn, means that my writing style has to flesh out many details so that you guys can follow the story. So bear with me on that. Each Act will follow a theme. For instance, Act One's theme is family and Act Two's theme is… Well, read to find out!

The future of Spirit Immortal is unknown, even to me. I will be starting my internship soon and possibly, a job offer might come. Once I have the job, there would be so much less time for me to write so I don't know if I can continue my daily releases. Especially since I'm not getting paid to write and this is essentially my hobby. However, I promise you this, as long as there are readers, I will continue to write. I just love the story too much to just walk away. I will try to finish the story within two-three years, but as it stands now, I don't know if that's a reasonable estimate. So, who knows what the future would bring?

Alright, I shouldn't talk anymore lest I accidentally leak my entire storyline to you guys. To be honest, I have been dropping many hints about the end of Act One, and I'm sure many of you caught on early. In truth, I had also dropped subtle hints about the final ending in many of the chapters. I wonder if you guys have picked up on some…

Over a million years ago, the first human contracted with the first Spirit. Ever since then, Spirit use has become commonplace. Humans used Spirits to carry items and start fires. In the present day, the Frie Clan was once a great clan of the Himmel empire. However, a devastating battle ten years ago crippled the clan and their numbers dwindled. To make up for their loss, the upper echelons decided to adopt young orphans and nurture them to become a future pillar of the weakened clan. Shin was one of those orphans. 

Although picked up by the Frie Clan, not all is smooth sailing for Shin and the other orphans...

Today is November 2nd, 2019, and I have decided to begin writing my own novel. In particular, this is an auto biography meant for me to remember my own life in the years to come.

I woke up today at around 8AM, however I was too lazy to actually get up. I looked to my right and grabbed my phone off of my nightstand. There I began watching watching some youtube videos and periodically checking my discord server.

I forgot to mention in my prologue but I have a profound interest in technology. I spend my freetime researching computer hardware and mobile devices, and run a tech discord server online. I won't go into details as I would prefer to stay anonymous, but I help people build computers and enjoy watching videos on new product releases, tutorials, unboxings, etc...

So I continued to watch youtube and check discord for around an hour. 

I actually got up at around 9AM. I hopped in the shower, brushed my teeth, and got ready for the overall tasks of the day. 

First and foremost, I had a singular physics homework problem to finish up. I had done all my physics homework the night before except for that problem, as I had gone to church on Friday night for All Saints Day and did not have time to finish it. I didn't want to worry about it when I had came home since it would be rather late, so I saved it for Saturday.

I looked at the physics problem, and at first I was rather confused. It asked me to find the period and velocity of a satellite circling the moon when given the mass of the moon, the moon's radius, and the distance the satellite was from the moon.

It was then that it clicked in my head that first I would need to find the acceleration of gravity on the moon. In order to do this, I plugged the values I had into the formula g = (GM)/r^2. In this case, G is a constant always being 6.67 * 10^-11 (N*m^2)/kg^2. The M was just the total mass of the moon given, and the r was just distance of the satellite from the moon.

After finding the acceleration of the gravity, or g, to find the velocity all I had to do was plug that value into the formula g = (v^2)/r. This is possible because the question has specified it was a circular orbit.

I then had to do the same thing to find the period, however replacing v with (2πr)/T, where T is the period and solving as a normal equation.

After finishing this problem, I was somewhat confident but rather confused as I hadn't used the radius of the moon at all. I contacted my older brother and asked him to check my work. He was dissapointed because the total radius was not just the distance of the satelite from the moon, but the distance + the moon's radius. This clicked and it made sense. I re did the calculations and now I'm rather sure I have the correct answer and understand the concept.

After finishing this problem, it was probably around 9:30 and I realized I had awakened abnormally early for just this problem. I was expecting it to take longer but it didn't, and I was fully dressed as if I was going out. 

However, I had no plans for the day. I honestly didn't know what to do and settled for eating some of this refridgerated banana cake my mother had brought home from work the previous day.

After finishing the cake, I was relatively bored and decided to check for the day's anime episode releases. At the moment I am currently watching around 6 or so ongoing series, and it just so happens a lot of them come out on Saturday.

I first checked Detective Conan, but no new episode had been released. I then noticed a new Sword Art Online III second season episode had been released and watched it. It was okay, but SAO is surely not my favorite series, just something to pass the time.

I then watched a few episodes of goblin slayer, a small, finished series that I had recently started watching. Overall, I spent a few hours just watching these shows and before I knew it the clock read 12:30.

I then got up and walked to the kitchen. I began looking for something to eat for lunch. I found one of those cheap one-meal containers of Kraft macaroni and cheese. I honestly am not a fan of these, but it was the best thing I found and I wasn't planning on being greedy with lunch today.

I heated it up in the microwave and ate it. It actually wasn't that bad despite the fake powdered cheese it uses.

I then set my phone down to charge. It was around one or two o'clock at this point. Recently I updated my phone to android Pie, or android version 9.0. Ever since, I've noticed severely decreased battery life. I have an LG V30 at the moment and before the software update I was getting 7-9 hours screen on time. However, since the update, I was constantly only getting around 5 or so hours of screen on time. It's unfortunate but oh well I guess.

While my phone was charging, I practiced playing some piano. I have played piano for quite a while, however all I have is a very cheap keyboard that I got like 13 years ago. Particularly, the model is the Casio LK 100. However, in the end it does work and I do enjoy practicing songs such as the Detective Conan main theme, tetris, and Kamado Tanjiru No Uta (from Kimetsu No Yaiba).

A couple hours went by and my phone was eventually fully charged. It was probably around 4PM at this point and I was insanely bored. I had told my friends I probably couldn't hangout today, but was beginning to regret that decision. I then realized that the thing that could make the day fun was a trip to tacobell.

The only obstacle was that the nearest tacobell is 20 miles away and I don't even have my learner's permit yet. I asked my mother if she had any errands to run or anything, and reminded her the mall was right next to the tacobell.

She agreed to go to the mall and to drop me off to have some tacobell, however I had to wait a good three and a half hours. I literally sat on the couch just listening to anime openings for that entire time, wondering when she would come downstairs and she would live. We finally left at 7:30.

I called the tacobell to see when they closed the lobby, as some close their lobbies pretty early and stay drive thru only. Luckily, the one near the mall did not close the lobby until 10PM.

I got a ride to tacobell and then realized I had nearly no money, no more than a few bucks. I decided I would claim my T Mobile Tuesday free crunchy taco supreme, and then just purchase a large drink. That way I could get a meal for just $2 plus tax.

I walked into the tacobell and fidgeted on my phone to attempt to get the T Mobile Tuesday deal working for a solid five or so minutes. It wasn't working properly and I was frusrated knowing my budget, so I thought 

"Agh screw this, I'm just going to buy my drink real quick and I'll figure this out at my table."

I went and asked for a drink at the front counter, and as I was getting my debit card out the employee said,

"It's alright, this one is on the house."

I realized that she had probably seen my frustration trying to use my phone to order and just gave me this free drink out of pity. I gladly accepted though.

Soon afterwords, I was able to get the deal to work and also received my free taco. So, basically, I got an entire meal for free and I was very happy.

I then sat down and ate, and I sat in the tacobell for around thirty minutes. During my stay I took a picture of my food and sent it to my friends, and I explained how I got everything for free.

I also noticed a group of people walk in all wearing clothing representing a particular University. Seeing as it was one University I was interested in, I approached them. I confirmed that they had all attended that University and asked for their SAT/ACT statistics out of curiosity.

One claimed that he had gotten a 1400 on his SAT, and the other that he had gotten a 33 on his ACT. I saw this as both good and bad. I've taken the SAT once and I received a score of 1380. I got lower than expected in math at a 700, but I also did insanely well compared to what I expected in english, at a 680. I truly hope I can get into the college they had attended with my score.

Soon, my mother showed up at the taco bell. She was done looking at things at the mall, and she picked me up and we headed home.

Soon after getting home, I got in and began talking to my older brother and a few friends on discord. We were talking about general things, and I told them about my college conversation with the alumni I had met.

One of my friend's then suddenly asked me whether or not my sister had gone to college. I told him that my sister went to community college but had then dropped out. With a highschool GPA of 2.6 and an ACT score of 14, you couldn't really expect much more.

We continued to talk about various things and my older brother told me he was going to write a book on web novel. It was then that I decided I wanted to write this auto biography.

I got started with the prologue, and now that I am finishing this first chapter it is slightly past midnight. I'll be heading to bed soon and I have set the timer to post this chapter at 5AM.

This is my life. I am writing this story to always remember where I came from in the years to come.

It was late at night, it was cold, very cold outside.
A young man sitting on a chair in his room in front of his computer looked through the closed window at the falling snow with half open eyes
"Another snowy day, fortunately for me, it is weekend, a cup of hot cocoa in hand and no work to do, which means I am free to do what I want, nothing beats these warm and relaxing moments"
The young man took a sip from the cup as he looked at the computer screen in front of him.
He was browsing some websites for reviews to decide which movie to watch, he got a few titles in mind but couldn't make a decision which to watch first, till his eyes landed on a certain comment
"Superman is the worst of the worst, a stupid jerk that thinks he is the best one out there, he is an idiot, an idiot I say, foolish, barbaric, brainless …"
The young man skipped the comment, he didn't feel like continuing to read that comment, thus skipped it to read another one
"Faster than a speeding bullet! More powerful than a locomotive! a stupid line fitting a stupid person, man of steel they call him, more like man of failure, an idiot by all means, a weak feeble little man that can't even get a date…"
The young man again skipped another comment as it seemed ridiculous to read it any further, thus skipped it to another
"A looser, he is nothing but a looser, all brawn and no brain, a stupid buffoon that is what superman is, a looser and nothing but a piece of garbage that shouldn't exist, a superfluous creature that…"
The young man was surprised reading the comments, the person who wrote them, seemed like they hated the superman character a lot, the comments sometimes ridiculous and sometimes childish but always offensive and they were getting worse and worse the more the young man read, and to make things more strange the person who wrote all those hate comments was one and probably the same person as they didn't stop there but wrote a lot more on other websites too, any website that allowed comments on DC movies, the same person would be there to write something, and every time they wrote a comment, it would be a hate comment, cursing and ridiculing the superman character, not the actor, neither the voice actor nor the movie but the character.
"What is wrong with this person? Why does he keep doing this? Why is no one saying anything to him?" the young man furrowed his brows as he read more than thirty hate comments and there were lots and lots more that he either skipped or didn't see them, all of them posted by the same person.
"Mr Mxy" the youth repeated the nickname of the person responsible of all the hate comments he read.
The young man wasn't a stranger to the Dc universe and lots of its characters, he was a fan to say the least.
"Choosing that for a nickname and writing things like that on all of those websites, is that guy alright in the head? I don't think he is just acting or joking, those comments are offensive no matter how I look at them"
The young man held his head as he pondered
"There are lots of people obsessed with comics and super hero movies, and when it came to DC, probably the most known characters are superman, batman, flash, wonder woman, cyborg and green lantern… fans would debate over them like, who is better than who? or what makes this super hero special than the others? And sometimes which actor portrayed the super hero's character better, etc…
Some like to dress up like their favorite characters in certain events like the anime conventions, some geeks however do take their 'enthusiasm' to the max and causing problems in lots of situations whether online or in real life, could this Mr Mxy be one of those geeks? if so why is he acting like superman killed his father or something, what is he going to such lengths to ruin a fictional character's image for? Perhaps, he is trying to make a point? But the comments are nothing but hatred with no apparent reason in them, is he sane?"
The young man was baffled by the comments of this Mr Mxy, he thought the guy might be joking or playing some sort of weird prank, after all, lots of people use the internet and some of those people are weirdos, but even so, shouldn't the moderators do something about those comments? And the stranger thing was, why no one said anything to this Mr Mxy? The young man was full of questions, in a sense, he was curious.
The young man cracked his knuckles, took another sip of his hot cocoa and started typing, he didn't like the fact that no one said anything to this Mr Mxy the most, he thought that he should tell him a piece of his mind otherwise he won't be able to choose any of the movies he wanted to see nor have a good night sleep later, because he would be thinking about why no one said anything to this Mr Mxy, the young man was somewhat a bit of a perfectionist or rather, psychologists might say that his personality is suffering a bit from an obsessive compulsive disorder.
"What is your problem with superman? ten websites! I browsed ten websites so far and in all of them you keep badmouthing superman, why are acting like an evil little imp? Is it because of that nickname? Well, guess what? You are a disgrace, you must be rejected by everyone because of that stupid mouth of yours, shame on you…"
Writing thoughts, the young man felt satisfied, now that he said what he had in mind, he can finally go back and decide what movie to watch.
[You like superman eh?]
"What?" the young man jumped from his seat at the sudden voice he heard
"Who is there?" the young man startled, he shouted as he looked around 
"Where are you hiding? Show yourself!" the young man didn't seem afraid 
[Bravo! Normally people would panic, but you want me to show myself? Haha, well alright then] the voice again said
Assuming what seemed like a defensive pose, the young man kept looking around, to tell the truth he was somehow thinking he might be delusional, after all he was tired a lot but wanted to take the chance to watch a movie or two since he might not find the chance some other day later, he thought that maybe he should be asleep right now or maybe he did fall asleep and he didn't realize it till now?
The young man was confused and lost in thought as he kept looking left and right in that closed room however his wait didn't last for long, in fact it was only a moment or few seconds as a figure suddenly started to take shape in front of him out of nowhere.
The young man opened his eyes wide as the figure quickly turned into a short man that was a little bit over one meter tall, one would mistake him for a child if it weren't for his face and attire, a purple suit and big shiny black shoes, a childish playful expression on his face as his big forehead was overshadowed by the a big purple top hat, that short man kept smiling as his big eyes were gazing at the young man.
"Greeting earthling of this dimension, you can call me Mister Mxyzptlk or Mr Mxy or any of the names you know me by as in those works of 'fiction' in this world, the ones you people call 'action comics', I am a fifth-dimension imp with powers beyond your wildest imaginations, but I assume no introductions are needed, right?" the short man said as he bowed like a gentleman.
The young man didn't respond as he was somewhat shocked by what he heard and seeing.
"So? You like superman eh? Let us play a game, shall we?" Mr Mxy said
"You dared to oppose me, a human with no powers like you dared to say that to me and for WHAT? FOR THAT PIECE OF TRASH CALLED SUPERMAN" Mr Mxy's tone suddenly turned serious, somewhat grim and scary as he slowly flew towards the young man that looked as if he was petrified
"Nevertheless, I like being fair, so I will give you chance to try and prove me wrong, not that I expect you to be able to do anything but… you like superman, right?" Mr Mxy made a scary expression at that moment as he pointed and with a light move, he hit the young man on his head, not giving him any chance to say a word nor wait for him to understand what just happened 
"Remember, no coming back unless you prove me wrong, bye~" Mr Mxy said so while waving his small hand as he looked at the young man who fell down losing his consciousness from that hit that looked light and harmless.
The young man slowly closed his eyes as he fainted, it was till some time later that he woke up, his vision hazy at first but soon better and much clearer than ever, no it was too much better that he couldn't understand what he was seeing and perceiving…
In a room that was neatly decorated with furniture that he definitely didn't see nor buy before, the young man jumped from his somewhat larger than usual bed, looking around, his eyes fell on his reflection in a tall standing mirror… moments later a surprised shout was heard from that room
"I AM SUPERMAN?!!!"

A young man while online browsing for a movie to watch, read somewhat upsetting comments, unable to leave without saying anything he commented his thoughts unaware of the consequences of such act...

The other very significant deciding factor was the popularity of the voice actor on the Internet.
Thus, the majority of the NPC voice actors of "Massacre OL" were popular online voice actors. They may not be very famous in real life and never took any gig of commercial dubbing previously, yet they had a respectable reputation in the fictional world of anime, comics and games, and able to call for a very large number of fans. 
Even if some commercial voice actors were invited, it was not difficult to discover that they were all gurus who turned into commercial voice actors from regular online voice actors. Even if they did not dub online, they still had a large number of loyal fans on the Internet. 
This was one strength that the commercial voice actors did not possess. 
On the other hand, Mo Xiaoqing was not considered famous in commercial dubbing and had much lesser fans compared to other online voice actors. As a result, she did not have the power to rally people.
Therefore, Mo Xiaoqing would not be chosen even if Moyan was not selected.

He said that only the developers of the company behind the game and those at a senior level knew about "Massacre OL" wanting to update the game, creating new ranks, maps, duplication, and NPC. Before "Massacre OL" made an official release, he only let it spill that one time at Weibo.
However, the news was always kept confidential before this. Of course, it did not prevent Mo Xiaoqing from making use of connections to discover the news.
That being said, the company had never publicly recruited anyone to dub and never contacted Mo Xiaoqing before. The company and Nan Jingheng himself never paid attention to Mo Xiaoqing; hence, they were not aware of the Weibo post. As she only had a small number of fans, the Weibo post did not give rise to a substantial response. 
To be frank, they would look for someone else other than Mo Xiaoqing.

He had a family of seven; A loving mother who was 93 years old, a good father that is nearing 94. A perfect wife for him, A daughter 28 years old and a son who's 26 years old. 

His daughter married at 27 and at 28 she gave birth to his first grandson and two years later, his son also got married, and a year later his wife gave birth to his second grandson. 

10 years passed, his two grandsons grow up. 

When he could go back home, he will spend time with them, he's fond of them and his grandsons also liked him back. 

There was a time when his first grandson saw an anime which he thought is a cartoon and really liked it, his grandson then asked him to watch it together with his second grandson.

His father and mother died years ago, leaving him and his wife in their house because his daughter and son moved out years before to live separately with their own family and now that his wife died, he's left alone. 

Being alone at 65, he passed his time by watching anime, movies, reading novels and mangas and so on just to keep his loneliness away. 

His son, daughter, and two grandsons along with their families come from time to time and visits him, he doesn't want to leave the house because it is where everything started for him. 

His son and daughter talked with each other and agreed to hire a maid to come every day in the house and clean it and cook for the old man. 

Years passed, spending his time watching anime, if he had nothing to watch or no updates to his favorite anime's, he would watch movies. or would read novels and mangas while drinking his loneliness. Years passed, he is now 75 years old.

As he watches and drinks, he noticed that he is out of beer to drink pausing what he is currently watching, checking the fridges if there's more, to his dismay, there's none!

Deciding to go out and buy more, with a case filled with an empty bottle of beers in hand and getting out of the house that's just a couple meters away from the highway, he saw the store where he would buy a beer but stopped when he saw that there're drunks fighting at the store's front.

Since the store is the nearest in his house, he just waited and sat on the case until the rumble of drunks finished as he watched them go at it. 

Not long after, all the drunks stopped with their rumbling because the police came and took them in for questioning. After they were all taken, he then went to the store to buy his beer.  Right after buying a case of it, he went back home and continued watching and drinking. As he drinks and watches, he did not notice that one bottle is slightly different for what he's watching is at its climax.

Supreme Realm~ 

There're two old men drinking, one having a gray hair and beard who looked drunk from his excessive drinking made a grabbing motion on the air, the air cracked revealing nothing, waving his hand, two bottles appeared out of nothing, grabbing hold on to the bottles, the gray-haired drunk old man accidentally let go on one bottle.

"It fell," he said.

 "Fell? What fell? Where?" asked the other one who also looked old but looked older for his hair and beard are as white as snow.

"A bottle of beer and it fell to the world of mortals," said the gray-haired old man.

"Ohh…" said the white-haired old man.

"Well, here you go, Father. I'll just get another one," said the gray-haired old man and made the same grabbing motion on the air and took one out from the unknown.

Void~

A ball of light kept floating on the endless darkness of the void without being able to move. 

It tried screaming, but no one was there to hear him. 

It tried to move, but not able to. It just floated everywhere from some force unknown.

He thought 'Where am I? How long have I been here?' 

But no one is there to answer his question.

Left drifting on the void for years unknown, the ball of light just floated there. Hoping that someday, someone would come to his rescue and get him out here at the world of darkness.

Until he saw a light, a light so bright that he could not directly stare at it. 

Seconds later, the bright light started diminishing. 

As it diminished, a human figure slowly started being seen. 

When the light finally died out, the ball of light can now see the whole figure, it said.

"A GODDESS!"

Killed by Truck-kun, who was waving its wipers on you.

You died. 

Rammed under its wheels.

Given a chance to live, which you didn't want.

Early morning.
The suburb of Los Angeles.
The dawn had arrived in the East. Amidst the leaves and grass, there were yeseterday’s raindrops. 
The home and cattery of the Keller’s was a very large house of the American pastoral style, a classic mixed structure of brick and wood. The outside of the house was painted white. A lamp that was perennially lit up during nights were hanging on the porch, where two cane chairs for the owners to rest on were placed. On the wooden eaves, a U.S. flag was waving to the morning breeze. Because of the arrival of Zhang Zian, Tim had also placed the Chinese flag next to it.
Zhang Zian was wearing a new gray Chinese tunic suit, of which the style and color were similar to that of Jet Li’s in Legend of the Fist, and was bought online for RMB 200 before going abroad. Facing the rising sun, he sat cross-legged and breathed pretentiously—surprisingly, he did look like a Kung Fu Master!
Whether it was Tim or Lauren, or the neighbors of nearby communities that were passing by, all of them couldn’t help but curiously size up this newcomer from China. Allen, who was hugging the porch pillar like a monkey and looked at Zhang Zian with his heart itching, even ignored Tim, who reprimanded him and asked him to go back to work.  
Finally seeing the sun that she had long been waiting for, Fina was lying on the railings under the porch, basking in sunshine lazily, and shaking her tail from time to time. The fur of her whole body was glittering like real gold.
When Allen didn’t notice, the invisible Richard secretly pecked at the nuts he had brought. Though this lad was lazy at work, he kept his promise and really prepared 10 different kinds of nuts, which were delicious and made Richard joyful. 
As the sun rose, increasingly more pedestrians walked by. From time to time, when some people greeted Tim and Lauren, they would quietly inquire about who the Chinese man was and what he was doing. Tim and Lauren answered honestly that Zhang Zian was a Qigong Master from China and was here to help them train cats. As for what he was doing right now…they were told that he was gathering the quintessential Qi of the universe, and absorbing the essence of the sun and the moon.
Zhang Zian opened his eyes slightly, and upon seeing that increasingly more foreigners were gathering to look at him, he suddenly jumped from the ground. From the previous, completely motionless position, he went to the dynamic end of the spectrum and started to show the vigorous Wing Chun fighting methods!
Tim, Lauren, Allen, and all the neighbors were stunned. Their jaws almost fell to the ground! 
If the breathing position before was a bit too mysterious and made them feel dubious about him, then this set of genuine Kung Fu actions immediately dismissed all their doubts!
"Kung Fu! Kung Fu!"
The spectators burst into thunderous applause! They kept whistling and cheering for him!
The noises here broke the long-term serenity in the community. Hearing the loud applause and cheers and not knowing what’s going on, neighbors who lived a bit far away and got up, put on their clothes, and came to join the crowd—watching the fun was in human nature, and foreigners were no exception.
Zhang Zian was practicing on the lawn of Tim and Lauren's home. Due to foreigners’ strong notion of respecting private territory, all the onlookers were standing on the curb, and no matter how curious they were, no one stepped in on the lawn, enabling Zhang Zian to move with enough space. Glancing around with the corners of his eyes, he noticed that almost thirty or forty people had been gathered in a short period, including children and adults, among whom there were several young and beautiful girls.
None of the foreigners present had seen this before! Their previous understanding of Kung Fu came from old movies and hearsay. Right now, a Kung Fu Master from China was showing them his skills for free. They were dazzled and nearly passed out from being overwhelmed with happiness! Office workers had forgotten to go to work, children had forgotten to go to school, joggers had stopped their running, and dog owners stopped walking their dogs. Everyone walking by had been attracted by Zhang Zian, and they invariably stopped to watch him. Quite a few people also raised their cell phones to record videos, sharing them to Twitter, Facebook and other social medias.
Some of the foreigners dressed in sportswear for morning jogging didn’t carry cell phones with them, but they were reluctant to miss the scene and went back home to fetch their cell phones! They were remorseful, feeling that they had let the chance of getting rich slip away!
Fina was a bit annoyed by the incessant bravo and it stared at Zhang Zian disdainfully. Had he ever been so diligent in practicing before? 
Zhang Zian enjoyed the feeling of being pretentious in front of people, and he was showing the Kung Fu techniques meticulously as instructed by Old Time Tea. 
Exerting forces from both Yin and Yang. Conserving strength like a snake. Releasing energy like a cat. Facing the opponent like a rooster. 
Utilizing all of his four limbs flexibly. Overcoming hardness with softness. Accumulating strengths from stomping on the ground. Passing the energy to the waist. Exerting energy from the shoulders.
He wasn’t concerned that the spectators would steal his Kung Fu. If Kung Fu was that easy to learn, it would be worthless. By watching videos, at best, all they would be able to grasp would be the similar positions, for they had no ways to learn the nuances such as the most important mental cultivation methods and techniques to exert energy. Anyway, he would be staying in the United States for only a few days! He could be pretentious without worrying about any undesirable consequences! 
The foreigners were no fools. Comparing Zhang Zian's Kung Fu with those in old movies, they could tell who was better. 
Finishing a set of Wing Chun practice routines, Zhang Zian closed his fists to his sides and remained still. Without panting or showing obvious expressions, only a few sweats were seen on the tip of his nose. This made him appear to be a bit more like a Kung Fu Master. In real Kung Fu Masters’ eyes, he might be an inexperienced beginner, who had grasped accurate movement, but his fists possessed no strengths and his stance was not stable. However, …his skills were enough to cheat these laypersons. How many Wing Chun Masters were there here?!
He stood with his back towards the sun, gave his fist-palm salute to the crowd, and said in Chinese, "The sun rises in the east, and I am the only one invincible!"
The foreigners didn’t understand what he said, which was why they felt he was incredibly fantastic! 
It would be awkward if he said an English sentence right after practicing Wing Chun. 
Applause and cheers reached a climax, although the onlookers knew that the show had ended, they kept asking, "Anymore?" "Is it over?"
Richard was full, it fluttered with its wings and flew back to Zhang Zian's shoulder. It answered for him in English, "Tomorrow, at the same place, at the same time, I’ll be waiting for you."
Talking about what they had just saw and heard, the crowd gradually dispersed.
Allen came over like a monkey and almost knelt before Zhang Zian, "Master Zhang, please accept me as a disciple. I would like to go to China with you and learn Kung Fu diligently!"
Zhang Zian acted like he was pondering, while Richard used the same old trick and said, "You need to show your sincerity. You know what? You must bring the nuts to me like today every day during my stay in the United States, in addition, prepare for me a grill and some fresh chicken breast."

Although Allen did not understand why Master Zhang asked for the grill and chicken breast, he did not dare to ask — he just agreed to do so immediately. As he passed under the eaves, he suddenly found that the nuts had disappeared, leaving only many shells on the ground. He looked around in confusion, wondering which person or animal had eaten the nuts secretly. Helplessly, he could only buy nuts from the supermarket again. If Master Zhang was angry because of this, it would be only Allen’s loss. 
Tim and Lauren also came to Zhang Zian from the sidewalk, looking at him with admiration. In their eyes, this mysterious Chinese was a Master of Qigong, Kung Fu and Cat Training! He was so powerful! Their Ragdoll cats, breeding cats and kittens included, had all been extremely well-behaved since Zhang Zian's arrival, as if they were influenced by something. Perhaps it was the invisible "Qi" sending from his body?
"Good morning, Jeff! Fantastic show!" Tim applauded. Among the crowd, his applause was the loudest.
"We are so honored to have you here." Lauren echoed with her husband and smiled. "You should really look at the expressions on the neighbors’ faces. Their eyes were so wide open, as if they were looking at God himself."
Zhang Zian was happy inside, but he put on his calm face to appear pretentious, "Just a small trick that isn’t worth mentioning. I hope you enjoyed it. I intend to begin training cats today, please do cooperate with me."
Tim and Lauren had regarded him as an immortal. They listened to everything he said without any doubts, and felt fortunate that they were able to invite such an otherworldly Master into their home…
