This is a story about a male named Zero who gets transformed into a Werewolf because of the apocalypse, with his intelligence.

It started with a message and humans turned into monsters human eating machines, but Zero is not like them, because he still has his intelligence.

Chapter 4 - Night Routine


Not again...


Adonis doesn't feel too bad, it's much earlier than the time he usually gets into bed so he does feel like he's making progress. He's too bored to do anything else on his computer so he finally shuts it down and begins his unscheduled nighttime routine.


He uses the toilet and walks out without washing his hands or brushing his teeth. He grabs his phone and lies down in his bed, ready for sleep. He is pretty sleepy. Like clockwork he unlocks his phone and goes straight to Reddit, scrolling down the most popular posts for the day. Some of the posts are entertaining or educational, but Adonis knows what he's doing. He knows what he's scrolling for.


He spends a fair amount of time reading the posts about politics and news and internet memes and keeps on scrolling. Eventually, he starts to see the NSFW posts. He clicks on all of them and even visits the subreddits they were posted to. Picture after picture, GIF after GIF, Adonis fries his brain with all the different kinds of porn one could imagine. He's liking the incest-related content recently, particularly the step-mom niche. It's weird, he knows, but the captions on the GIFS add an extra sexy touch that gets Adonis masturbating for the third time today. This goes on for a while. He purposely delays climaxing by edging towards the 'point of no return', easing off and continuing. This way he can watch more porn.


As soon as he's done, he's finally ready for sleep. He checks the time: 02:38 am

"Wait, is there a drawback to this?" Damien asked both Avaritia and Benevolentia.


"Master, to truly fuse one of us emotion spirits to a named object, you first need to find a white pure soul gem or black corrupt soul gem. While soul gem themselves are very common. Soul gems are created when a living being with a consciousness dies. The soul of the being goes into the afterlife and depending on how strong they are, they will leave different amounts of soul gems. However, white pure or black corrupt soul gems are soul gems dropped by beings who have done nothing but good or bad. Not only are they very rare, to combine it you need to face our aftereffects, and the only way to rid of our spirit's aftereffects is by dying. However, the longer you stay with that spirit's emotion, the stronger the weapon."


"So basically, I have to kill a baby. That's basically what you are saying." Damien looked at Benevolentia with fear. That's Kindness?


"That would be one way to do it. However, you will need to extremely lucky. As they are very weak, they will almost never drop a gem.


Moving on, you should probably prioritize getting Avaritia, Luxuria, or Gula as your first object of emotion. As much as the rest of us want a house, those three are unique. All three need to take more than 1 soul gem. For every 5 sexual items you gain, you need to give Luxuria one soul gem to get stronger. For Gula, it is every 5 food item you gain, and for Avaritia, every item you give him, the need for soul gems increases exponentially." Benevolentia pointed at the three spirits she was talking about.


"Umm, ok, well that will have to wait won't it? I mean you haven't told me the easiest way to earn these crystals."


"Oh, about that, there is no easiest way. There is the one you were talking about, killing babies. This one depends on your luck.
There is also killing children or adults. For this one, you are guaranteed a soul gem, but it will almost never be completely pure or corrupt. This also depends on your luck.
Finally, there is completely annihilating souls. First, you need to be dead. Easy right? Well, then you need to completely remove a soul from the death reality. Doing this will cause the soul to reincarnate, with their memories intact. However, you will be marked by the reality, and be chased by every reaper it has. So choose wisely!" Benevolentia gave Damien a smile and waved.


"Why did you wav..! WAIT, WHY AM I BECOMING TRANSPARENT?!" Damien looked at his body, only to see it become more and more transparent.


"Master, you are waking up now, please think which of those three you will be giving the Scythe of Spirits to. I wish you a good day, Master, bye!"

"Master, are you okay?" Laura looked at Damien, whose body was covered in sweat.


"Yeah, I'm fine, I was just talking to the spirits."

"Oh, what were you guys talking about?"

"They want houses, as in named objects...God, I need to find 11 more named weapons. That's gonna take 50 chapters." (No, I will not give him all 11 weapons in 50 chapters, he has already gotten a good enough start.)


"Master, come on, there's something on the news." Laura started pulling Damien out of bed.

Laura then dragged Damien to his desk and pressed a button. The button brought up a floating TV, and on it was the breaking news.

People are trapped in their VR sets!
Groups are reporting that some people are unable to be contacted after entering the game [Worlds Collide]. The only patterns we have figure out are that the people trapped have all been, at one point, in the top 5 of a popular MMORPG. There are some exceptions, but right now we need to figure out how to get them all out.
Just in case, you must refill the trapped people with a dose of nutrients every 2 days.

"Jade wasn't that good at games..." Damien started sulking. He started feeling somewhat jealous, for whatever reason. He shook his head, clearing his thoughts. "Laura, come on, I got to go outside really quick." Damien quickly changed into new clothes and ran downstairs. Laura, shaking her head, picked up the empty food plates and carefully walked down the stairs, before putting them on the counter, where a robot appeared and took the plates to go clean.

Laura them followed Damien outside. They got on to Damien's motorbike and Damien started driving. They first when to the store to buy nutrient bottles, then traveled back home to inject Jade with nutrients. They left the house after they finished and half an hour later, they arrived at a run-down building. 

"Master, are you here to train?"

"Yeah, I've never used a scythe before, so I want to try to see how it feels."

Damien focused on the ring and the Scythe of Spirits appeared in his hand. He started twirling it in the air, with the blade of the scythe spinning around him like a twister. He grabbed the scythe with both hands and started slicing at the air. He jumped into the air and flipped while dragging the scythe behind him. As he did a 360, he brought the scythe over his head and into the ground. 

"I am a farmer." Damien suddenly spoke out a cheesy one-liner. 

"What?" Laura cocked her head in confusion.

"I saw this in my last life, on Reddit." Damien started chuckling. (I was looking for techniques for scythes, and found it on Reddit.)

"It...sucks." 

Damien picked up the scythe out of the ground and tried to think of the things he read on Reddit. He started using the scythe in a leg sweeping motion, which was followed by a jab with the top of the scythe.
Damien continued practicing with the scythe for 4 hours before stopping. The sun has already started setting and Damien was covered in sweat. Laura, on the other hand, had fallen asleep.

"Come on, Laura, let's go home." Damien started shaking Laura awake.

"Mmm, Master, two more minutes." Laura turned around and fell back asleep.

"Sigh, fine. 2 more minutes." Damien sat down and started wiping off his sweat.

All of a sudden the building started rumbling, the walls started collapsing, and the ground started cracking. A xanadu colored crack appeared in the air and started growing. Damien felt his soul being pulled in as he lost consciousness.

We reached a reality crack.  Depending on your guys' choices, this book can go in many ways. The first crack is for the Scythe of Spirits. Gula or Avaritia. Who will it go to? Here a poll.

that is all I seem to do while I am stuck inside.
I did see a post from my school about the thing that is happening at bean@bility this week and I am interested to come. the lockdown has driven me to boredom since I am missing events that made me an active person when going out.
witching to the discord tab I decided to see what is going on in Avi's server so I could keep my sanity without losing it in the process. exiting my room I decided to put my breakfast in the sink as I watched some video's on the USB stick that I had plugged into my tv when I got back. videos like mark. jack and other YouTubers that I love. I also use it for music pics and anime as well so I can be resourceful about building my mancave that is filled with Miku and Starset for the pc.

I decided to log in to my Facebook and see what was happening on my Facebook feed. my feed is filled with anime, news, bands, shows, and movies that I have followed since I was on there a year back. the 1st post I am welcomed with is a post from Sao showing fan faves Yuna and Eiji who are in War of Underworld. as for Yuna. yeah, she appeared in the Sao movie. and I would love to collab with her when I am in the world of Sao.
the next post is from the anime Konosuba and it is a funny post about tea. never seen the show or films. but I do plan on binging it after seeing all of fate and Sao. and as for the no game no life anime. well... it is banned cause it refused classification.
the next post was from one of my fave artists who goes by the name of Mike Shinoda. and from what I saw. he was making music for GamesCom and it is said that he is making the theme for it as well.
and as for Linkin Park. they are doing something for there 1st album of 2020 as a celebration that is in the form of an old laptop computer. and I am hyped for it since I know they went dark since Chester died 3 years ago. and yes it was a sad day to remember that but hey at least Miku is the one who makes me smile.
and as for the thing that is happening in Victoria right now. well, the cases have started to spike and that is not all. panic buying is now returning and is also turning chaotic as we speak. and it is sad to see the days getting darker for them since this world is broken.
logging out of Facebook I decided to see what was happening on Reddit when I logged in. and while I did that I decided to put on Spotify for my chill sessions when I am vibing to my music as well. checking Starset I noticed that the debut album transmissions was now missing from there profile. and in my mind, I knew it was going to be hidden since they signed with fearless records. moving over to Dustin's side project titled MNQN I decided to play one of the songs from the 1st album as I began my 1st vibe and chill session while online and on the web.
my Reddit was filled with art, music, gaming, entertainment, anime, and mostly lewd stuff as well. and yes I am 20 years old so I do enjoy this type of stuff when it comes to what sub I join. and I do post on there and give upvotes and downvotes on posts as well from time to time. including the ones that I report from offensive users who are from that sub. not gonna go into detail but let's just say I did throw a feedback post in the Starset subreddit. as for my kama. I have 7.8k since my posts gain attention from the community that sees it.

we wanted a perfect world. this is not the world we had in mind.

the year is 2020, the Earth is facing an outbreak crisis that has impacted the world

many people are fighting for survival against the virus while others. are ignoring and fighting the government for freedom and change.

as for me. I just wish I was in another world where it is peaceful. or so I thought.

my name is Aden. and this is my story.

My hands were on the knob. I partially looked back, just nodded and got out of the building. The nod could have meant literally yes or no. What work did Sam have that night? 
The next morning, Sam came to my flat to pick me up. I had passed out on my sofa and realised that only when I heard the banging on the door and Sam cursing me to wake up. 
"Get ready, fucker". 
I quickly brushed my teeth and put on some trousers. 
"Did you have breakfast?", I asked him. 
"We will have it on the way", Sam said. He had the same glow of joy and happiness. But this time I was atleast sure where it hadn't originated from. According to Mr. Palladino, Zuschter was a long ride from here, around twelve hours. 
The highway was mostly empty and the day was sunny and a bit windy. Huge clouds floated above us like ships. Usually, sunny days were a huge boost to mood my mood but the events of last night were too strong for my brain to get affected by the stupid sun. 
I looked at Sam. He had worn black goggles and a white cap, completely oblivious of a secret rotting his life and my  moral. 
"I researched a bit about Mr. XY".
"What about the hacker? Just robs banks and blackmails international organizations".
"He is one of the highest donors to the cancer NGO in the city and is a philosopher as well".
"Philosopher?"
"Yup. He imparts his philosophy in many leading blogs and sites. There is a huge group in Zuschter following his philosophy".
"What is one of his philosophies?" 
"I think read one on Reddit", he scrolled through his phone and then read from it,"So this is how it goes. 'We think that whatever we are now, is a culmination of our choices. Everything is to be blamed on us. Now, I don't completely dismiss this way of thinking since its logically true but through my experiences, I think everything in this world is already decided. The end, your future, everything's scripted. We are all just mere puppets, being moved by the tentacles of fate.' This is one of his core philosophies."
The road was so empty he didn't even bother reading and driving at the same time. 
"Shouldn't we do a story on Mr. XY as well?"
"There have been many stories about him by other magazines. Mrs. Weasley won't be happy".
"Yeah even if we print bullshit, it's original bullshit".
We laughed. We stopped by a Taco van. Got some tacos and weed and then were set to go. 
"What do you think of dinosaurs?", he asked. He was definitely one of those weird who would ask a random question out of nowhere. And what's worse? They expect an answer as well. 
"What about them?" 
"Are dinosaurs myth?"
"Well, they have found bones and shit"
Sam nods.
"Millions of years later, when another species finds our bones, fuckers will think that none of us had dicks". 
"Why the fuck does you even think about these things?"
"What i am saying, all the information we know about ancient animals are all either incomplete or untrue. You can't predict how a creature looks just by the bones, you know?". 
Five hours into the trip, we stopped by a restaurant to have our lunch. The restaurant was dilapidated but had that earthy smell mixed with smells of jalapenos and tomato sauce. It was run by an old couple. 
"So, where are we staying?", I enquired,"At your uncle's house?"
"I thought about crashing at his house but then it didn't feel, right? So, I booked a guesthouse."
"How did you come to know of this news by the way?"
"Well, my uncle said it to my mother."
I nodded. 
"And what about the organism?" 
"Let's see."
"Are we writing the article like a travelogue?"
"A travelogue would be nice".
"Where are we going to search for the organism first?"
"I don't know. Maybe, starting from the temples on the hills".  
"That jelly shit has temples named to it?"
"It's quite revered there, bro". 
We reached the guest house late at night. We had taken turns driving but surely Sam had driven the mist so he was quite tired. 
I almost carried him by my shoulder to the  reception and kept him on the sofa. He curled up there like a cat. Embarrassed, I moved away and went to the reception desk. 
"Hi, sir! How may I help you?"
This question right here. Why isn't it a default greeting in human beings in general? Why was it just a costomer-consumer shit? I showed her Sam's phone which had the email. She looked at it and began typing on her computer. The receptionist was a really pretty girl with thin glasses on. One of those clear faces which you can already imagine crying, howling or laughing. 
"Here is your key".
One key? Sisterfucker had just booked one room? Anyways, I took him to our room. I changed into some other loose clothes and went downstairs while Sam snored away peacefully.  
The receptionist stood there emotionless, staring into dead air. I adjusted my hair and moustache and conjured up all the pre-flirting confidence. 

All the chapters are weird, fantasy short stories which are interconnected by the characters living in the fictional city of Zuschter. 
Mr. XY, the anonymous philosopher that can hack into any website, says that our future has already been written and we are just mere puppets who just think that we are taking some decision. As it appears, the city worships Apeisynthecoid, a seemingly jelly like creature full of eyeballs all around it's body and has infinite limbs. Apeisynthecoid is an invisible, metaphorical organism whose limbs(called fate) pass through everyone in the city and are used to make the human beings move around like puppets. Things begin to take a bizarre turn when people begin to get constant headaches as they feel the limbs of Apeisynthecoid going through their head. Thus, start a myriad of stories starting with two science journal writers, going around the fictional city of Zuschter, to find Apeisynthecoid and in the the process we meet other characters whose stories will be told in later chapters.

I have finally decided what I want to do with this journal. A mind journal. I'm gonna write EVERYTHING that goes on in my mind. Yes, mom, everything. It's gonna be awesome. Since it has a 'Subject' label I could do something stupid like: Stupid Tik Tok Ideas I'll never do. The whole just. Maybe I'll write about internet boys because all my class are online. I'll have a section called: "Do not read means do NOT read! (mom). That seems appropriate. I know that she'll read it anyway. That's just a thing loving mothers do. It reminds me of that one IJ episode where they read out of their daughter's diary. I'm not gonna try to doodle but knowing me I'll draw eyEBALLS everYWhere. I think the next page will be a disclaimer. Mostly for mom and/or Justin. Just incase and naughties get ahold of it and wanna blackmail me. If I was texting I could add emojis, I would've added the shrug emoji after that last sentence. If I started drawing comics would Jesse and Ryan think I was cool? It's weird not using quotation marks when I write. I never write in first-person and about myself. Maybe one day this will be posted on reddit and I'll be famoose. *hair flip emoji*

Life can change in the blink of an eye. One second you can be enjoying a car ride to pick your little brother up from school, the next you're moving across the country and away from your brother to escape the memories.

Jane gets out of her shower and dries herself with a towel, all types of thoughts going through her mind. 'When I come back home, I need to work on my assignment!' and 'Conell just asked me out yesterday, how am I supposed to say no politely?!' and 'I have to go to dance practice tomorrow!' etc.
 
In the end, she sighs and stops thinking about those things. She'll manage them when the time comes. For now, she just wants to go to the Amusement park with her family and have loads of fun. 
 
She puts on her clothes, a black coat with a white turtleneck and a black pair of skinny jeans, and looks into the mirror, fixing her face. She unties her dark brown hair from the bun and ties it in a low, but comfortable way. She looks just fine, normal clothes, light-brown, glittery eyes, peach coloured skin, and a fit and healthy body. She grabs her tummy and squishes it. Alright, she still needs to lose weight. She looks too chubby and the pinches her cheeks.
 
After she's ready, she makes her way downstairs and puts on her black boots while calling out to her mom. The weather is really good today. It's not that cold and the Sun is out a little, but it is cold enough to wear a coat.
"Mom! Dad! I'm ready, let's go!" She says.
 She zips on her black, knee-high boots, but gets no reply. "Mom? Dad? Brandon?" 
Still no reply. 
 She walks to her kitchen, but doesn't see her mom there. The hall, dining room, her brother's room... They're all empty. 
That's unusual. Mom or dad never leave the house without telling her they are going out. Or did they leave her?
 She takes out her phone and calls her dad. From upstairs, she can hear her dad's phone ringing. His phone is at home.
She tries her mom's phone, then her brother's phone. Same results. All their phones are at home. They would never leave and not take their phones with them.
 Jane starts getting worried and tries calling her friends and some relatives. After none of them pick up, she calls her family friends. NONE of them pick up. Now she starts panicking.
 What the hell is happening?
 She goes outside her house and tries knocking on her neighbours' houses and people around, while still trying almost all the contacts on her dad's and mom's phone.
 The streets are too empty and too quiet. There is no sound of the cars, no chatter of the people, no smell of Ms. Linda's cooking. This is not normal. 
Finally, after several tries of calling, someone picks up her call. Jane sighs with some relief and checks whose number it was. 
It was Mr. Camron's, her maths teacher at school. Even though she hated him at school, right now, she felt like he was her savior.
"Hello? Mr. Camron? This is Jane," she says into the phone.
"Hi! Yes! Finally! Jane, a-are you alright?"
 The voice isn't Mr. Camron's though. It's much squeakier, much more like a girl's.
She starts speaking again, "Jane, I'm Mr. Cameron's daughter, Naina. I've been trying to call everyone, but no one is picking up. Di- did you see what happened? Everybody disappeared! Th- They all went through a portal and I was able to control myself and it was pulling me and I tried to stop them b-"
 "Hold on. What do you mean they disappeared? And what do you mean about a portal?" I ask her, with confusion and more fear from what she said.
"Wait, you didn't see a portal? I- wait, hold on, send me your location and I'll come there. Somehow, the electricity and internet is still there."
 Jane answers her 'okay' and closes her phone. A portal? She didn't see any portal. Her hands start shaking as she sits down on the steps in front of her house and hopes her brother and parents are fine. She can't live without them. 'Please, be okay for me,' she prays. The wind howls and blows hard, hitting her in the face and she pulls her coat tighter against her body.
 Jane opens her phone while waiting and goes online, to see if there is some news to explain what is going on.
 Reddit, Twitter, Instagram, they are all full of people who 'survived' this 'whatever-it-is' and are all talking and making up theories about what is happening. Some are saying this is something like avengers and everyone's disappeared, some say this is the end of humanity and this is how we become extinct, while some are saying it was a portal to another world that everyone went into. They're all debating about what is happening and are planning ways to meet up and stick together. 
There is no news from the government about what is happening. Perhaps, they disappeared too.
 Just as Jane is about to comment that she's alive too, she hears a car approaching and walks to the road. It is a red Volkswagen and after switching off the car, a girl, probably 19 or 20 years old with black hair, gray eyes, pale brown skin, a straight nose, and full lips comes out. She looks beautiful. Mr. Cameron always looked fat and untidy. It was hard to believe she was his daughter.
 "Hi, Jane. Thank god, there is someone else I know that is still... Well, here. Get in the car, let's go and see if we can find any help or information."
 Jane gives her a forceful smile as she is not in a happy mood and gets in the car. She puts on her seatbelt and Naina starts her car, driving first around Jane's neighbourhood to look for any survivors, then into the main town.
 "So, you said you saw portals, right? What do you mean by that?" Jane asks her.
 Naina takes a left onto the main road and then answers her. "Right. So, um, out of nowhere, a white light type of thing, which I think looked like a portal, came in front of us. Everyone got their own. It kind of pulled you towards it, making you want to go into it. I don't remember clearly, but I had tons of emotions rushing through me, almost like I was going through all my memories.  I kept control of myself and didn't go through the portal, but my dad did... And then he was gone. I tried calling my mom and younger sister, but no one picked up. It was terrifying..."
 Water starts building in her eyes and Jane looks away as Naina gives a small sniffle. Right now, they need to be strong. Jane clenches her fist and hides it in her coat. After a few seconds, she starts talking again, "You didn't see a portal, did you? That's weird. From what everyone is saying online, everyone did, except for you."
 "I was showering, and when I came out they were gone," Jane tells her.
"Yeah, but still. There are millions of other people too, perhaps who were showering but disappeared. That's really creepy."
Jane doesn't say anything and feels Naina glance at her a couple of times before focusing on the road again. They both don't say anything. Their family just disappeared and they have no clue where. Is this really the end of humanity?
They're both lost in their own maze of thoughts, that no matter where they go, and what turn they take and think, they're reaching a dead-end with no clue about what's happening.

it was a sunny morning in my quarantined and locked hometown of beach boro. I had woken up, had my food, got on my pc, and started my stretches. I had just finished watching Starset's new music video for the new single titled trials reimagined that had just been on youtube since I know that divisions 2.0 is coming and I am also aware that they are milking the 10th track of there 3rd album for some reason since it has something to do with the song being an anthem for the rebels in the Starset lore of the story and it could be the theme for the people who are surviving this COVID crisis as we speak.
turning on my tv I had started watching the news just to see what is going on in our world. and from the look of the state America is in now. a black lives matter uprising is still going ever since the incidents were now set in motion because of the one incident that caused a violent cry out for justice in that area.
more this world changes. the more fucked we truly are in this world as we see the truth in front of our eyes. and from what I heard on the news when I watched tv. it is scary that this virus will stay around for long and will not stop until we are all dead.
as for me. well, I am still at home. witch is what I call a cage now. sitting on my chair I put on a 24/7 CreepyPasta stream for Quarantine at the End of the World. and yes this stream does change as I watch and sleep to it as well since I am a fan of spooks and love having inspirations for writing stories in any site I am putting the story's on. and if you do not know what a 24/7 CreepyPasta stream is. well... it is where you hear your fave story's on the stream while you relax and sleep. and if you are still confused. there here is the description of the CreepyPasta stream.
