As I'm focusing in Greek Mythology I remember the name Prometheus. A character that was part of my research but haven't got any much information about him. 

"Maybe I need to search more." I seriously whispered to myself.

So I got back to my computer and started to type that name, "Prometheus".

I search more farther about Prometheus, since I don't have the book yet I might as well search on the things that I have. As I searched more about him I found the name "Hesiod".

It linked me to another name.

"The Greek poet Hesiod related two principal legends concerning Prometheus. The first is that Zeus, the chief god, who had been tricked by Prometheus into accepting the bones and fat of sacrifice instead of the meat, hid fire from mortals. Prometheus, however, stole it and returned it to Earth once again. As the price of fire, and as punishment for humankind in general, Zeus created the woman Pandora and sent her down to Epimetheus (Hindsight), who, though warned by Prometheus, married her. Pandora took the great lid off the jar she carried, and evils, hard work, and disease flew out to plague humanity. Hope alone remained within."

Hmm .. Pandora that word seems familiar. 

"Hesiod relates in his other tale that, as vengeance on Prometheus, Zeus had him nailed to a mountain in the Caucasus and sent an eagle to eat his immortal liver, which constantly replenished itself; Prometheus was depicted in Prometheus Bound by Aeschylus, who made him not only the bringer of fire and civilization to mortals but also their preserver, giving them all the arts and sciences as well as the means of survival."

Hesiod and Pandora, it also seems to be related to the book that I need to find. I tried to research more about Prometheus but everything that came out was the same about what he did to the mortals. As well as about his punishment for his deception of Zeus and stealing fire which he in turn gave to the mortals. Only these names often appear in all the information I have seen.

Hesiod, Zeus and Prometheus, these are the main names that were mentioned in all of the articles and searches that I've done. Are they all related? But they are all just in history that happened ages ago. Do they have anything to do with what is happening to me? Or maybe I'm just crazy?

*sigh its like learning history again but different because I kinda relate it to reality, I don't know if the direction I'm taking in what I'm doing is right because of the strange things that are happening to me, this is the only thing I can hold on to as I search to get all the answers to everything that happens to me. I just turned myself back to what I was reading and just resumed what I was doing.

Because I already know Zeus in the stories I have read and the movies I have watched and I have also researched everything about Prometheus, now that leads me to the name Hesiod. So I typed it and searched more about the name Hesiod who's a greek poet.

"Hesiod, Greek Hesiodos, Latin Hesiodus, (flourished c. 700 BC), one of the earliest Greek poets, often called the "father of Greek didactic poetry." Two of his complete epics have survived, the Theogony, relating the myths of the gods, and the Works and Days, describing peasant life."

Works and days, hmm .. seems familiar. I struggled to think of where I had seen this Works and days. Sa pag iisip ko ay may bigla akong naalala, that's when I checked my bookshelf and searched for the book "Works and Days". 

"Got it! Hesiod Theogony Works and Days." I said to myself.

I see, that's why it seems familiar because I've already read about this book and that's why the name Pandora seems familiar too. Who out of curiosity opens a jar, loose multifarious evils on humanity, and the other traces human decline since the Golden Age. This is a pretty interesting story, so does this mean it's related? Or part of what's happening to me? I wrote all the things that I've found out now in some research.

Prometheus - A titan from Greek Mythology.
Zeus - A god from Greek Mythology.
Hesiod - Author of the Theogony, Works and Days, which is part of the Greek Mythology.

All of the research that I somewhat gathered was all pointing to the Greek Mythology. All of it is about Greek, but I'm still confused. Why is it Greek? There are many other possibilities but why Greek? Why is it the Greek Mythology? And why would that happen now? If it's already been ages, why now? And why is it me? Of all the people around the world, why is it me?

Greek Mythology, is where all the answers await?

The book The Greek Mythology written by Edith Hamilton.

History says that humans encounter an eye of destiny whenever they are in the midst of dying. It's either a blessing or a curse, a destiny or a mistake.

The eye is given to you, as a sign or reward that you just strive through death. An eye where you can see when a human's death awaits.

But will you intervene in the things that are already arranged just to save someone? In exchange for your life?

An eye who can see Fate,

Fate that deities already planned.

Is it a blessing or a curse?

The next moment, Cao Cao opened his eyes and found himself back in the temple.

I am back.

Cao Cao turned to look at the statue of Osiris again and recalled back to a conversation slightly before he returned.

"There is another thing I wish to ask of you."

"What is it, Holy Spear Wielder?"

"How does the Underworld work exactly? When humans pass on."

"When humans die, their souls will return to their resting place. That differs between every mythology. For example, those who believe in our Egyptian Mythology will return to the Duat while those who believe in Buddhism will return to theirs. Likewise for the Greek Mythology. Every Underworld is ruled by different Gods and Transcendental Beings. While I rule over the afterlife in the Egyptian Mythology, other Gods rule over theirs. The Greek Mythology has quite a few; such as Tartarus, Erubus, Nyx and Hades. From the Norse Mythology, we have Hel while Great King Enma is associated with Buddhism and the Hindu Mythology. Angra Mainyu is also a God related to Zoroastrianism."

"I see. So that's how it works. Then, let me ask you next, before you send me back. Does the legend of the River Styx works?"

Upon hearing that, Osiris put on a serious expression.

"You are not planning to...--"

Osiris countered his face as he started speaking.

"The River Styx. A Principal River in the Greek Mythology that forms a border between the Underworld and the land of the living, named after the Goddess Styx, daughter of Oceanus and Tethys. Including the Acheron (river of pain), the Lethe (river of forgetfulness), the Phlegethon (river of fire), and the Cocytus (river of wailing), they converge at the center of the Underworld. The Gods from the Greek Mythology use it to swear oaths upon and originated when Zeus declared that every oath would be sworn upon Styx for allying with the Gods against the Titans. But, what you want to know is not this right?"

"That's right. As a God of the Underworld yourself, I want to know whether it actually works."

"Achilles, the son of Peleus and Thetis, known as the greatest of all Greek heroes who took part in the Trojan war. According to myths and stories composed long after the Iliad, Thetis was extraordinarily concerned about her baby son's mortality. Some say that the sea-goddess tried anointing him with ambrosia every night and slowly burning away his immortality by the fireside. After that, she bathed her son as an infant, in the waters of the River Styx, which were said to confer the invulnerability of the Gods, in hopes of making him immortal. And, he did. However, she gripped him tightly by the foot as she dipped him into the river–so tightly that the water never touched his heel. As a result, Achilles was invulnerable everywhere but there. That is where the legend of Achilles heel came from. Certainly, the River Styx will allow one to gain a body that could rival a God. Many of those who try this method however, only meet death as a result. Furthermore, you are only a human descended from a hero. Even if you blessed with the Holy Spear, your body may not be able to handle the River Styx. No doubt, it would lead to certain death--"

"But, if you do manage to survive the ordeals of the Styx, your body would have the same physique of a God. Even if you can't become a God, your body will have the strength of one."

"That's all I need to know--"

"After all, I don't wish to become a God."

Cao Cao finally left the temple.

However, before he could do anything else, he needed to settle the issue that Osiris gave him in exchange for returning him back.

Suddenly--

With his keen senses regained after getting back his past memories, Cao Cao sensed something approaching him at a very fast rate.

Enemy attack!

A black shadow leaped out in an ambush.

Cao Cao took a back step while a beam of light streaked out from the mouth of his Spear.

The first and second slash carved up the black shadow roughly into pieces.

'beshari,' with a wet sound, the thing that was cut by Cao Cao fell on the surface.

"...What is this?"

Cao Cao spontaneously groaned when he saw the dead body of the thing that attacked him.

The thing that was ceasing to function there was a grotesque organism.

If he expressed it strongly, the organism was a lot of tentacles that were bundled together like a bouquet of flowers. The tentacles were attached with countless suction pads for the sake of capturing its prey. The root of this thing was a bloodshot eyeball, rough breaths were released from it's tusked lips.

It resembled an octopus, but it looks slimy in pink color, it's size was around the size of one person. It was liked a byproduct of a failed experiment.

Could this be...

Cao Cao had a faint clue on the origins of this unknown creature.

The existence of such an eerie organism--

Cthulhu Mythos...

Strictly speaking, Cthulhu Mythos is an [original setting] that was created by an author named Lovecraft for the purpose of spinning a story.

Lovecraft's fellow authors also shared this and wrote their work using this setting, the world view of this work was developed rapidly, finally it turned into a large scale systematic world that was fitting to be called a Mythology. 

However, in the end, it was supposed to be nothing more than a setting for the purpose of literary creation.

This was because the soul of the world was shaped by the magnified human's mind, only Gods whose existence could possibly be interpreted by humans are allowed to exist.

Someone had chosen to artificially create such a being while knowing it's origins...

All the clues pointed to one thing.

The Longinus that was said to be able to create countless monsters with it's ability and the creatures were created based on the user's imagination.

Rumble...

The whole dungeon shook. Many adventurers were baffled by this occurrence. Some petrified, some fled the seen, but the dare devils stayed in anticipation.

Sarah: Why do i have a really bad feeling about it...

The rest of the members were in total agreement about this feeling. They nodded their heads in unison and raced towards the exit of this dungeon.

rumble...

The shaking of the dungeon never ceased for even a moment; this made even the bravest of the daredevil's heart waver, even those outside the dungeon were growing restless. 

Emyrs and most of the adventurers made it out safely. Even though they were technically safe, the restlessness still lingers freshly behind their minds.

rumble... rumble...

with each succession the dungeon shook more violently, eventually affecting even the nearby towns and cities. 

The news spread like wildfire. The main topic of discussion would change to this concerning news. Many speculation and rumors were created in this short time span. 

Eventually one would be the centre of attention- a monster outbreak. The restlessness had mutated into a new form. Fear. 

The quake's roars echoed the entire province of Chetvert and a small portion of Krist, but after a tense hour and sweaty palms, it finally faded. It was a brief moment for them to catched their breath. In the end, everyone knew the terror never ended, it had just begun.

Adventurers, including Emyrs and his team, scrammed back to the nearest city (capital) to defend it. They knew they had no chance of winning fighting out in the open. 

One day passed by, the morning sun shine enveloped the earth and the soldiers along side the adventurers had their tension grow to a climax. They knew today the army of monsters would arrived. It is the uncertainty of the arrival of army that made them feel vulnerable. 

Not long after, black dots started to fill the the skyline, like a flash flood, rushed towards the capital. The war had begun...

The enemy was the once timid and patient shadow lurker. It seems their impatience had taken hold of them. Mindlessly attacking the soldiers and adventurers, scouring for the young and devouring helpless men. 

young boy: (holding a knife, screamed on top of his lungs) Get away from my mother!

The shadow lurker muched down on its tasty meal, ignoring the boys presents. 

young boy: (tears started to swell up in his eyes) Get away from my mother!! 

The young boy wasn't able to watch the monster consume his mother's flesh any longer; although he was trembling greatly, he charged straight at it with resolution.

The spider felt the wrath of the child; it slapped him with one of its legs (#getslapped). The child flew into the air and crash down into the ground. His shoulder rubbed against the ground, the friction caused his shirt to tear and his skin to rip. 

The child, bruised and tattered, wanted to flee out of this misery but he couldn't. He was locked on by the terrifying humongous spider that slowly creeped up to him. The monster tormented his mind with its obnoxious figure: long slick legs, thick saliva and a pair of blade like fangs.

After a quick struggle from the boy, the boy finally gave up, fully petrified like a medusa's statue. 

The shadow lurker inspects for a moment before pouncing onto the boy to fill the unsatisfied appetite. 

However, before the monster was able to taste the child's blood... Bang! It has already lost its own.

The thunderous sound snapped the young boy back to reality. "Such sound could only be a thunder strike from the god, Zeus!" thought the boy. He started to prostrate.

Emyrs: Right, but not quite... 

Boy: (sprang up like a spring) Were you guys the one that saved me?

Emyrs: Yeah, my name is Emyrs.

Natsumi: That's right, you don't need to be afraid anymore!

Boy: Ah... (bowed down) thank you. I don't know how I can repay you guys.

Emyrs: Boy, what is your name?

Boy: Henri... Henri Lester

Emyrs: What a fine name, suited for a future great leader.

The boy's eyes gleam like a gem, who knew the simple words Emyrs said would end up changing the boy's life. Henri Lester, a name that would later resound throughout the eons as the wisest and prosperous king the world has ever met.

(I'm using gods and goddesses from greek as it is very notorious. Although most of you would be more familiar with Thor, he won't be coming up anytime soon in this book even though he is a deity, which suits the false god identity (half-man and half-god). That is because his origins are from Norse mythology, not greek mythology.

The reason why I didn't use Roman mythology even though it is very similar to greek mythology it is not exactly the same, for example: from Roman = greek

Neptune = Poseidon,
Jupiter = Zeus
Mars = Ares 
Cupid = Eros

and so on; I am also more familiar with Greek mythology, thus please don't get confused with why some gods are not used XD)

In the modern era, in a conference room in Washington, USA.
"This is the situation. That guy named Jerry is terrifyingly powerful.
"And he's about to start a national war. He's preparing to unify Qingzhou. If we really let him unify Qingzhou, he would establish an empire."
Christine said to the American high officials present.
"According to our investigation, this person should be an American. This is a good thing for us.
"But according to what Christine said, this person's strength has already surpassed the current world level.
"When the world level upgrade to level two, how terrifying will his strength be?"
A high-level big shot wondered.
"Therefore, our priority is to get in touch with this person and see if we can rope him in!"
Everyone nodded, because in the low-level martial world, people could even bring strength and other things into the real world.
If they waited until the empire was established, who knew what kind of changes would occur.

This was enough to show how powerful the Spartan heavy infantrymen were!
They had lost in the end, but it was only after they were sold by traitors.
The Spartan heavy infantrymen had defended their dignity with the blood of 500 brave warriors!
Now Jerry had 80,000 Spartan heavy infantrymen, along with 300,000 Macedonian phalanx troops, 50,000 Byzantine armored cavalry, and 3,000 ancient Greek phalanx infantrymen!
Jerry just didn't know how he could lose in the war!


Jerry traversed across worlds and arrived in a Beast Summoning era. In this world, everyone could summon their own pets. Darkness was looming, and the world was in turmoil. Relying on the power of their summons, many shrines plundered the resources at every corner of the world like tyrants. But when everyone else was summoning adorable pets that could help them in battle, Jerry discovered that his summoned pets were a little different. Other people's pets are all kinds of beasts, but Jerry summoned gods from Greek mythology! King of the Gods, Zeus, “Master! I, Zeus, is at your command!” Athena, “I will fulfil all your requests, master!” Poseidon, “I will conquer this sea in the name of the master!” In constant summons, step after step, Jerry became the supreme ruler of this world!


I was sitting on the couch of my Lab, my legs were crossed and I was drinking something that the humans call wine. The name of it was Leroy Domaine d'Auvenay Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru.

'I have no idea what the fuck this name means... But damn this is good. Hmm. I am spending almost all my time in this Lab. Every time I need to do something I come here, it cannot be avoided as I need to plan what will my next steps be. It has been three days since I used the {Time Anchor}, I only have four days left. Almost everything on my list is done at this moment. Orihime's and Yoruichi's training are on the final stages.

The only things remaining are that I need to find a way to reprogram Nemu and deal with Isane. I have no fucking idea what should I do with her, should I turn her into an slave? Let her rot on the Dungeon? Kill her? Probably not, she would be a good treat to have. Fuck it for now.

Let's deal with this later. Now I need to use my rewards as I need strength... Hmm? System, why does {Lightning Stake} has Cirucci's name?' I thought while looking at my Inventory.

["The {Lightning Stake} was a reward for killing Yasutora Sado. As you did not had anything to do with when Cirucci Sanderwicci killed him, taking the fact that you ordered it, she was the one that should be rewarded. After all, she was the one that killed him. 'Hmm. Cirucci is my most useful slave of them all. Loly is annoying as always. Menoly is the quiest one, but in front of me, she turns into a scaredy cat. Yoruichi is... Yoruichi. And Orihime is at the point of breaking. *Sigh*. Leaving that aside, I have to make my bow Mastery useful. System, search for the most powerful and expensive bows that I can buy.'

"Come in." I said.

She then entered and stood in front of me.

"Cirucci, you have accomplished all the missions that I have given you up until now. So, I have decided to reward you." I said, taking a sip.

"No need, Master. I only want to kill and torture. I don't need a reward, Master." She said, grinning, not from happiness though.

"A good service and loyalty deserves a reward. Kneel." I commanded her.

She did as I said.

'System, I have only one question. Will this kill her?'

'Lucky girl. I had to place my life on the line to get the lightning Reiatsu.' I thought while taking out the stake.

It was a beautiful blue stake that had many lightnings inside, it was adorned with engravings that read as Cirucci Sancerwicci. Cirucci was looking at me, then she tilted her head, probably confused. Getting up, I went near her and stabbed her chest using it.

This made everyone in the room surprised, but as I would not do something to hurt them, at least not without reason, they returned to their calmness.

"AAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGG!!!!... HMMM~?! OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH~❤!" After her inicial scream of pain, she suddenly arched her back, and from the middle of her legs, juice came out.

'What the fuck?! Did this woman just came from receiving a power up?!' I asked myself.

Harribel, who was quietly watching me thinking earlier, suddenly looked at Cirucci with the most disgusted eyes I ever saw.

From Cirucci, many lightnings came and the previous blue stake, was drained from it's blue color, then Cirucci's veins and eyes became blue for a brief moment. After this, she returned to normal and the stake became ashes. On the middle of her chest, there was a black lightning tattoo.

"What a good show. Harribel, now it is the time to deal with the other residents... Cirucci, I don't want to see any of your juices tanishing the ground of my prouded Laboratory, understood?" In between my speach, I drank all of the wine in the cup, then I warned Cirucci.

After what Cirucci had done, I went out of the door.

A man that doesn't know his past, except for specific memories, was suddenly throwed on a weird but familiar world, in a dangerous situation. And now he has to survive in this world without any guidance but a system that came out of nowhere.
