Over the years the witches had prevailed over the world and decimated more than half of the werewolf and vampires population, almost bringing them to the brink of extinction. But over time some of the witches didn't see the point in continuing the war and called for a end. One of the leading witches of their army lead this motion and was meet with a push back, this was the cause of the split in the forces. The witches that  saw no point in continuing rallied with the witch and withdrew and put their powers together to make a special space where they can rest and be away from the concerns of the world. Because of this new creation, most witches came over to the side that were looking towards peace and surrendered the battle and moved to live a peaceful life. The special space was called the witches dimension and was ruled by the great witch Titania.
The remaining witches that did not call a truce with the vampires and werewolves pulled back from the war due to the shrinkage in numbers. These witches still continue killing the two supernaturals with deep malice. After countless experiments on the bodies of the dead, they were able to gain new powers that were excellent for doing evil. Years passed and they were soon called the Dark witches. They roamed the world unhindered and causing havoc every where they go, killing the supernaturals of the world which consists of fairies, giants, golems etc. They sought after any supernaturals they could find to experiment with their powers and bodies, it had reached the point where they even killed the humans of the world that has always been clueless about the existence of supernaturals.
Because of the actions of the Dark Witches, the second great war happened with the affected supernaturals working together to drive them into a corner of the earth and seal them away. The Golems, Giants, Fairies, The Witches, Vampires and Werewolves battled the Dark Witches and did a clean sweep of the world and sealed away the Dark Witches that were too powerful and could not be killed due to the powers of any of them. Those powerful witches were sealed all around the world and was placed in a barrier that is protected every second even to this day to prevent their return. The Witches that side with the other supernaturals had received the names Light Witches, and this pertains to all the witches that were under the rule of the great Witch Titania. At the end of the second great war the supernaturals created a union to keep relations and peace between all the different supernaturals that were apart of the war. That was the birth of the Supernatural Council, a last front in the case of another war between a higher power or if the Dark Witches were to return. The leaders of each race was placed as a member of the council to represent their own race.
After the end of the Second Great War, some of the lower ranked Dark Witches were able to hide away and prevent their deaths, they waited until everything calmed down before they relocated to hide from the other supernaturals of the world to prevent their own deaths and the death of their loved ones. Following the creation of the Supernatural Council, the scouting of Dark Witches were placed in the forefront to help get rid of any unknown enemies. The Dark Witches that were hiding away had to go into hiding for many years and most of them went to blend in with the human populations.
Even though they had been hunted and killed the Dark Witches didn't stop the killing of supernaturals and humans. What they did was made the deaths seem more natural by the way of blood manipulation, poisons and curses.

Destiny always has a way of leading you to a path that will lead to greatness and happiness. But could faith be wrong?

By the words that were exchanged now, Penny gathered that the white witches couldn't use powers like that of the black witches. To clarify she asked, "I thought the white witches couldn't make use of it," Father Antonio smiled. 
"It isn't that we can't. Being born the same as twins. One with good and the other with bad qualities, both have been gifted. It is just that white witches believe in not tapping into the black magic," he explained to have more curious on her toes. 
"Why not?" If it was going to benefit and repel the black witches, wasn't it good? She looked at Damien who looked as if he already knew the answer to it. Though he knew quite a few things about the witches, he wanted her to learn things directly from a witch and not himself. 
Father Antonio walked towards a plain wall, pulling a folded chart that was at the top with the ring to hook it below. Picking up the lump of coal which was lying around, he drew two stick figures, "This is the white witch and this is the black witch," he drew a moon and a sun to emphasize it more, "We have codes here when we speak so that we don't have any witch to pick on what we speak."
Penny knew that, "The moon is the black witch," she said.
"Correct. The moon represents the black witches and the sun represents the white witch. Here is the black magic which is made of pure darkness," he made a scribbled circle on the plane, going to draw as he spoke, "The white witches know about it. At least a lot of them who have lived in the same coven unless they are orphaned or haven't been told their origin on what they are or where they come from, where the information is lost. Leaving them completely clueless and live the life of a human. Some find out about who they are and are burnt alive because of the very trust they keep with the humans they have grown with."
Seeing father Antonio look towards Damien, Penny instinctively looked at him where he had been listening to the priest speak with an uninterested face as if he already knew about it. Looking back at the man who had looked at the pureblooded vampire, he said,
"Mr. Quinn has more knowledge about it than I do. He has been walking on these lands for a long time before I even came to existence," that was taken for granted thought Penny to herself but now that she thought about it, did the witches live as long as the humans or more than that? 
Damien spoke from his seat, "The witches came to the existence the same time the pureblooded came to be known by the humans. The witches were all white in the beginning. Though there are some stories or rumors of the existence of black witch coming forth to be different, each and every version you hear will be different. The question is which one do you believe?"
Penny waited for him to continue, her attention which was held by both the men who were speaking about the very first existence of the white witches and black witches which she was sure no one would know for sure as what the truth was. 
Leaning back in his chair in a way where the front two legs of the chair were left hanging in the air with the back legs of it supporting, "Humans, witches, vampires, each have their own version but even witches have their version mixed which you will find faults in. Like Father Antonio said, both the kinds are gifted equally because they are part of the same coin," as Penny heard Damien speak, she saw the priest drawing something more in terms of lines between the two stick figures, "The black witches when they first arrived, the truth was already known but the white witches had hid it from most of us. The truth is the black witches were once white witches."
A deep furrow formed between her brows, taking in what Damien just said on the black witches. The black witches were once white witches?
"How can that be possible?" she asked not able to grasp it. Everyone knew how different the witches were, and though they were different, the witches were burnt after finding them from hiding. 
Father Antonio stepped back in the conversation to say, "It is the black magic," she saw the arrow being pointed towards the white witch and then the black witch, "The white magic and black magic are things which are not to be tapped."
"Not even white magic?" she raised her eyebrows to see the man nod. 
"The magic is accessible to us but that doesn't mean you can take and make use of it. Using white magic in minute quantities will not harm one. We make use of it here to build the necessarily needed weapons. One of the white magic is the holy water which the humans very much seek to protect themselves. Just because the water comes from the church doesn't make it holy. The prayer that is used is nothing but a spell used by the white witches," Father Antonio placed two glasses of water for them to drink on the table,
"When a white witch starts to stray from the expected path, tapping into the forbidden magic which is the black magic, their body composition starts to change before they turn to a black witch. Mr. Quinn is right though. There are many lores that surround the black witches. Some who call them the Satan's children while some say they are born that way and maybe they are."
This meant there was more than one way the black witches came to existence, thought Penny to herself. Still thinking how unexpected it was to have the white witches turning to black witches. 
"Let me show you," said the priest, untying the robe that he wore and then the button which had the cross mark on his neck. He pulled one side of the dress that he wore to reveal the severe pigmentation that now covered on his skin which looked similar to the black witches' true form. 


"Who touched you?" he asked, his eyes brooding down at her and when she didn't answer, his voice thundered in the room, "WHO?"

The butler who stood near the wall spoke shakily, "Sir, it was Mr. Reverale," Damien's face turned sour, his jaw ticking in anger he turned his face to the side where the butler stood behind.

"Bring the man here."

"N-now?" stuttered the butler. It was the time of night.

Damien who hadn't broken his eye contact with the girl in front of him, pushed his hand against the wall which now rested beside his beautiful girl's head. Turning his body, he first looked at his butler who had his head bowed. With great courage, the butler came to meet his Master's eyes, "Do you have any other better time? Or should it be after I wring your neck?" Damien asked calmly tilting his head. Not a second later, the butler ran out of the room to return back with Mr. Reverale after twenty minutes.

"Damien, are we having a late tea party?" Mr. Reverale came to greet but the master of the house had other plans. Spotting the knife that was stuck to the apple on the table, he reached for it to pull it out.

Just as Mr. Reverale went to exchange a handshake with him, Damien took hold of his hand to place it on the table. In one swift movement as if he were chopping onions, he chopped the four fingers of the man off his hand making him yelp and cry in pain.

"No one touches what is mine. I am sure this will remind you the next time you even think about touching her," sighed Damien as if he were tired of telling people to keep their dirty hands off his belongings.

Meet Damien Quinn, a pureblooded vampire who is a complete narcissist, brash with his words and stingy even though he is rich who haggled when he bought a slave from the black market.

On the other hand, meet Penelope who believes she is a 'guest' for a few days at the Quinn as she is intent on escaping from the odd vampire who needs therapy.

The room was bright for Seoyeon. It wasn't too dark or too bright but the room had the right light for her. Yet when she saw how the smile that had always continuously danced on Jung Hwa's lips had disappeared, she felt as if the surrounding of the room had turned dark. She had stayed by his side for a short while but never did she saw him looked this angry. Now that she had guessed Jung Hwa's hatred to witches she didn't know whether she was correct; it made herself wonder what story Jung Hwa had that lead to him hating the witches.

Trying to be careful with the mood, Seoyeon spoke, "I thought witches are only women." she said not trying to make offense but ease the mood she noticed was crumbling down.

"Oh no, there are many and it could be both men or women. The witches' blood came from our ancestors. As my great great grandmother, the blood continue to me who is next in line of the generations." Min Beomgyu then turned at Jung Hwa who glared at him coldly and spoke, "Since my great grandmother's have sworn to work on the side of the Associates, I am also one who is not participate in the fight, Mr. Jung. I am here to help vampires and the society of humans."

Jung Hwa for a long while finally gave a smile but it was far from a kind smile, "I know or else, your head wouldn't still by your neck now. I would have rip your head the moment you reveal yourself." and he narrowed his eyes on the neck. Jung Hwa's anger came rooted from his childhood but he knows who was his enemies and Min Beomgyu was not one of them.

Min Beomgyu could clearly tell the pureblood was being sarcastic with his words but to know that the man was capable in putting to action the words he had uttered, he could g help but gulp at the thought and his smile crooked in nerves.

Jung Hwa turned his face at Lee Young, the smile he had also turn sharp at the man, "So much for no witches, when there had been one lurking around, isn't it?" Since long after his mother's death, Jung Hwa had worked his way to uncover the mystery of witches. To say that the being that had been exterminated centuries ago was hard for anyone to believe in but Jung Hwa knows what he seen that day. The witches was still alive, waiting for their time to come and his mother's killer is still outside.

Lee Young bend his neck, the expression he had softened as he said, "I'm sorry, but the matter is that Beomgyu isn't the witch you are searching for. He is different."

Min Beomgyu then took to speak, "There are two types of witches, Mr. Jung. One is like me, who have the ability to make potions which works to heal are called the white witches. Another one is the witches who used the help of black magic to perform spells using sacrifices, and they had used their spells and potions to kill vampires and human alike. The witches that was told to be exterminated in the past are the latter one; the dark witches. We are different kind of coins. While white witches hope a peaceful life, dark witches are hoping to have their own world. Where they would be the ruler of the world with their power. Now most of the white witches don't even know they are one as their ancestors had kept their identity as secrets. There are only a few including me who are white witches." 

Taking the informations, Seoyeon kept in mind the differences of the witches. White witches could be said as the kind side as they mostly do healings while dark witches crave to have their own position. If it was true, then the witches last time who she and Jung Hwa had fought with were the dark witches. As she muddled in her thoughts, Seoyeon pulled the sleeve of her blouse and her fingers rubbed the skin she felt itching.

"Possibly from what I heard, the witches that had killed your late mother is them, the dark witches." Min Beomgyu asserted, the room was silent as Lee Young became the only person who seemed to have known this beforehand as surprise weren't shown on his face.

Seoyeon's inky eyes stopped at Jung Hwa who hadn't said anything with his lips set thin. Her question she asked just a few minutes ago was answered by Min Beomgyu. When there was time when his childhood was brought up in the aquarium, Seoyeon wondered what kind of childhood Jung Hwa had. Was his parents not in a good term? But now she knows it was because his mother had died. She saw how Jung Hwa's eyes that have always gleamed under the lights were now filled with shadows. His glowing eyes had turned deep like the color of blood. And her heart felt pained.

It was a while until Jung Hwa spoke, "If as you said the dark witches had been exterminated, the witches in the incident this month, what are they?"

Min Beomgyu drew his brows slowly and exhaled when his mouth was opened, "They are dark witches. I don't know how could they resurface after centuries but the fact that they had kidnapped people means they have come back to continue their purposes which failed centuries ago."

"To create a world of their own." Jung Hwa stood up from his seat and Seoyeon followed. He turned at Lee Young to say, "Can I take that Associates would have the dark witches killed as their priority?"

"The announcement would be made tomorrow. Deok Ji Hyeang and other section of the Associates would make it as their priority and the hunters requested themselves to participate." Lee Young replied for Jung Hwa to nod. It was somehow unlike Jung Hwa for him to speak little with clear words exempted from sarcasm. Perhaps this was him but as he became calmer, Seoyeon turned to worry. She didn't know what he was feeling right now but when a loss of family is there, she could feel the pain that she knows existed in Jung Hwa's heart.

In a week time, she was able to hide her secret. Ironically, she found his secret. In the dark, she found out he was a vampire, a being that suck blood but that was not all. She later found herself fall into the world of vampires. In the world where cunning beings lived, Han Seoyeon only have him. Will she be able to come into term with her new life? Or will she be able to answer to his feeling, reciprocate what he felt?

Will she found about the truth of herself or will she lose everything?

"Ah, so this is Gordom's border?" I asked, looking out the window where a huge wall stood. It was without a doubt the biggest wall that I had ever seen in my whole life, and I couldn't even see the end of it from inside the carriage.  
"It is, and when we go out of that gate," he pointed to a tall and rusty gate by the center of the wall, "We will no longer be in the land of vampires. Instead, we will reach a place called Shadow Woods."  
"Shadow Woods?"
"It's a forest that belongs to no one and is used to divide the three lands," he explained, taking out a parchment from his pocket. The parchment turned out to be a map of the three lands, depicting the location of each land.  
"Have you heard about Axthrone?" he queried, and when I shook my head no, he laid out the map on his thighs, showing me the map.
When I looked at the map, I realized for the first time that the three lands were all located on the same continent, separated only by the forest called Shadow Woods. Shadow Woods itself was located by the middle of the map, spanning from the bottom to the top of the map—splitting it into two halves.
Wonsvile took the majority of the map's left side, while Gordom and Myltha shared the remaining half. Myltha occupied the smaller upper side, whereas Gordom occupied the larger bottom side.  
"You see, all of this used to be one," he said as he circled the entire map, "There was no Wonsvile, no Gordom, and no Myltha—there was only a place called Axthrone. It used to be a place where all creatures lived peacefully alongside one another. However, the peace didn't last long."  
I nodded to his explanation, allowing him to continue.  
"Axthrone was destroyed when a war broke out, and we call that war the Great Axthrone War. It first started as a war between all creatures, each creature vying for dominance—though I can't say the same about humans," he chuckled, "Werewolves, vampires, and humans eventually came to an accord and resolved to battle the witches together, as witches were the ones who first started the war."
"Why did the witches start the war?" I asked.
"Of course, to rule the world," he answered, "They wanted to create a world full of magic, where witches rule over all creatures. They were greedy for power, but then their greed cost them their magic."  
"What do you mean it cost them their magic? They can't use their magic anymore?"
"Ahh, did I not tell you?" he asked, tilting his head to the side, "There are two kinds of witches, a black witch, and a white witch. The black witches were the ones who started the war, not the white ones. And when I say magic, I mean black magic. Black magic is magic that is only used by the black witches, mostly to bring harm to others."  
There are two kinds of witches? It was my first time hearing about it.  
"How did they lose them?"  
"At that time, the white witches were on our side. Despite the fact that they are sisters, black and white witches have always had a bad relationship since they never view things the same way. That's why white witches banded together with us and helped us defeat the black witches. While the other three creatures cornered black witches, white witches gathered their strength to seal the black magic in an orb known as the black orb.
But due to the immense power of black magic, one black orb was not sufficient to seal it all. As a result, white witches sealed the black magic in three black orbs and kept them hidden in a place only they knew about."
"Why didn't they just destroy the orbs?"  
"Because they lack the power to do so," he explained, "In order for them to seal the black magic, they needed to pay for a price—and that price was their own magic. That's why they could only seal half of the black magic, but that was enough to defeat the black witches."  
"So to defeat the black witches, the white witches sacrificed their magic?"  
"Not completely, but yes," he said, scratching his head, "I don't really know much about the witches, but I believe only a certain group of white witches lose their magic."
"Does that mean white witches are good? But why are they treated the same way? People would immediately kill anyone suspected of being a witch, regardless of whether they are a white witch or a black witch—or if they are a witch at all."
"Well, it's because we can't tell them apart. The fear of not being able to tell them apart drove people to kill just anyone under the suspicions," he folded the map back to his pocket, crossing his legs together, "But as white witches are quite helpful, a few recognized ones live under the protection of the church, using their magic to help people in need.
White witches who live under the protection of the church will have a mark on their bodies, and only those who bear the mark of a white witch will be safe from the people's dread—although it seems not everyone knows about this fact."
It is true that not many people knew about this fact—or about any dark creatures in general. I only knew about the dark creatures because my mother used to tell me a lot of interesting stories, but even with that, it was the first time for me to hear about the things Luke told me about today.  
While not many knew about the existence of the other two dark creatures, it wasn't quite the same for witches. We have been told many horrible stories of witches, but none of them tells about the different kinds of witches—probably because people had decided that all witches were evil. Despite the differences in their nature, both witches were grouped together and feared the same.  
"Does that mean all the witches we found outside of the church are black witches?"l
"Not exactly," he shook his head, "White witches who live under the protection of the church are always heavily guarded, with every of their action observed. That is why I believe there must be some white witches out there who chose to live in the darkness rather than live under control."  
"But why are they controlled?"  
"Because there might be a chance of them turning to a black witch by tapping into the remaining black magic."
Ahh, that makes sense. I wanted to know more about how they sealed the dark magic, but I didn't think Luke would know that much about the witches. It was quite fun to learn more about the world I'm living in.  
I was so engrossed in hearing Luke's explanation that I didn't notice that we had long entered the Shadow Woods. When I looked out of the window, I realized why this place was called the Shadow Woods. The trees around us were thick and tall, towering over us and hiding nearly all of the day's light. It seemed as though day had abruptly given way to the darkness of night.
It wouldn't be shocking if something suddenly showed up... something otherworldly.  
I swallowed the lump in my throat, slowly backing away from the window. I was not fond of things like this, even though I was used to the darkness. I'm not sure when the dislike for this first started, but I believe it was on one of the days when I was locked in the underground room.  
I remember I was locked in the underground room for about a week, and I was very weak due to the days of starvation. I'm not sure if it was because I wasn't feeling well, but I recall seeing a shadow in the underground room where I was constantly alone—a shadow that wasn't mine.  
Even though the room was dark, I could still see some light from the small opening created by the closed door, and that light caused me to see the shadow. At first, I thought I was hallucinating. But then the shadow started to move, going around the room and stopped in front of me. It stayed for some time as if scrutinizing me before then started to move around again.
The only chair in the room started to move on its own, and the chains left on the ground started to make a clanking sound. I was certain that there was something else in the room, as I could feel a breeze whenever the shadow went past me. It was the first time that I was afraid of something I couldn't see, and it made me realize there was a lot about the world that I didn't know about.  
I remember—for the rest of my stay in the underground room—I was not alone.  
"AHHH!!" I screamed.
While I was replaying the horrifying memory in my head, something suddenly touched my hands, immediately startling me. I drew my hands away from whatever was touching me, but it turned out to be Luke, who had the same surprised expression on his face after attempting to take my hands in his.
"Did I... do something wrong?"


"Oh! Thank you for catching that little troublemaker. Please give her back to us," said one of the guards while panting for air.

Not knowing what to do, I frantically held the man's hand and pleaded, "Please save me! They are going to hurt me! I don't want to go back!"

The man first looked at me for a couple of seconds, then at the guards. "Go," he said to the guards grimly. Surprisingly, he was on my side. I was counting on my lucky stars to ask for help from him and I was fortunate enough to earn it.

"What?" asked the guards, confused by the man's words.

"I said go... before I kill you," he threatened. I was hiding behind the man's back and couldn't see his face, but my guts told me that he meant his words.

The guards looked surprised by his words but quickly recovered from them and, instead, started to challenge the man, "We won't go before you hand us that girl."

The man sighed and said, "I warned you." After that, the man let go of my hand and turned my body around. "Don't look," he said, before starting to walk towards the guards. 

Every step he took exuded confidence, and he was not the least scared of the guards who were armed with swords when he himself had nothing but his bare hands.

I closed my eyes even with my back towards them and heard one of the guards scream trying to attack the man. No longer after that, the only sound that I could hear was something like... bones breaking.

A few moments later, it was completely silent. Is he done? The silence was soon broken by footsteps that I assumed were getting closer to where I was. Is this the footsteps of the man or the guards? That was the question that popped up in my mind.

I was ready to run, but before I could proceed to do that, two strong arms gripped both of my shoulders, turning my body around. I nervously opened my eyes to find a pair of red eyes staring softly at me.

"Are you okay?"

(3rd person P.O.V) 

The next day, after breakfast, the warrior goes to the training ground for some training, while half of the white witches go to the samba forest. The other half remains in the mansion to put the protective spell on the mansion, and the forest around it, just in case they found out about the mansion and decided to attack it. 

Just as they teleport themselves into the samba forest, Peter flies towards Nikki and land on her shoulder. 

"What is it?" Nikki asks him. 

"The Dark witches found some information about shadow witches coven and know that the fight between the spiritual coven and shadow coven witches happens here. And right now, they are coming here to find anything, that can help them find their location," Peter said to her. 

"Thank you peter, you can leave now," Nikki said to him while patting his head and he flies away from there. 

"What happens, Nikki?" one of the old witches asks and Nikki tells them everything. 

"Oh my god! Now, what will we do?" Nathali asks, panicking. 

"We will move them to another place and cover all their tracks and everything that can guide dark witches to them, half of you guys clear or cover any sign, blood or trace of magic this forest have and also cover our tracks, while we teleport them to another safe place, we will directly meet at my mansion," Emma told them and they divided into 2 groups, and follow their instruction. 

"Emma, do you know where we can find them?" Nikki asks her. 

"Yes," Emma said while keep walking deep inside the forest. 

"How?" Nikki asks her. 

"Moon goddess had come inside my dreams and tells me where we can find them, and she also tells me the safe place, where we can teleport them," Emma said to her while leading them to shadows witches place.

"Nikki, mind link Marry and Arria and tell them that after we teleport the shadow coven witches, filled the pond with water, and cover our trails, half of you guys will stay here and cover our and the dark witches trail, and half of you help me teleport them," Emma said to them. 

"But where should we teleport them?" one of the warlocks asks her. 

"To our ancestor place, we will teleport them, in a cave near our old cave, no one ut us white witches can saw it so the dark witches won't be able to find them there, surround the witches and warlocks, and spread your hand then repeat the spell after me," Emma said while walking and standing between two sleeping dark witches and spread her hands and wait for others to follow the suit. 

"Amorus bhave," Emma said, and other repeats after her, they disappear and appear in a cave. After that, they check on the witches and warlocks making sure they were still sleeping, Emma repeats the spell, that the moon goddess used to make them sleep for eternity, just to be a safe place. 

Then they put a protection spell inside the cave and walks outs of the cave. They take out the potion candles and put it around the cave, and murmur the spell, and cast a 3 layer protection spell with an invisible and ale spell over it, and teleport themselves home. While on the other hand with covering and destroying the trace in the forest other witches also return home just as dark witches teleport themselves here. 

The dark witches search the whole forest to find anything they find that can help them find shadow witches, but all to avail. Tired from searching the forest, they reach the same pond where the shadow witches used to be there, to get some rest. One of the dark witches walk to the pound to drink some water, she takes a sip of the water, all of her tiredness go away and she feels more energetic, then she used to feel in her usual days.

"I think, the shadow witches are inside this pond," she said and get away from the pond and murmur a spell, and all the water inside the pond dry up and a door appears inside the pond. They open the door and walk downstairs with a fireball in their hands so that they can see in darkness.
