Mercenary tasked to fix another world

After finally meeting his end as a indentured mercenary in service of the USIE civil cooperation bureau, Tom finds himself in front of what he quickly comes to terms with is a god. This god has one question from him: Name 3 things you would need to fix my world.
Finding himself under new employment after his death, Tom finds himself transported to a world of magic and swords, there he must complete the tasks of his new patron, but for the first time in many years Tom starts finding enjoyment in his work, afterall, there’s nothing better than ending slave traders and other scum that take advantage of people and sell them like goods.

Although faced with overwhelming odds, Tom still has his preferred rifle, so he begins a journey, tasked to save this world from dark forces and corruption. Along the way, he might also start regaining all he lost.
