Someone had been holding back!
There were over a million swords, and although they struck the city chaotically, they managed to kill an impressive number of Jiangshi.

"I'm not a pervert, I'm a woman of culture!" Xie Yu said in a stern voice.
Eastern · MisterBombastic
Not a pervert, but a man of culture!

Probably means the inner court.
There was also such a thing in the inner courtyard. Xie Qing looked at his rating and saw that he was in 25th place in terms of cultivation level and 100th place in terms of contribution, which was the lowest score. But this was because he had only recently joined the sect.

Lian Xin froze in place, looking as if she had fallen under the spell of the Gorgon's Medusa. She began to stutter and stammer as if you had launched a 2024 game on your old computer from 2007 on ultra settings, causing a blue screen of death. That characteristic sound during a crash was exactly what Lian Xin was reproducing.

Well, give him a first rate capital ship and he will train all you want!
"The Terrans are making too much progress! We need to do more to drag Professor Larkinson away from their clutches! What is the Impresario Prince doing? Why has he failed to persuade Professor Larkinson to visit the Rubarthan Pact? Doesn't he have a good relationship with the Destroyer of Worlds? Why haven't any of them sent any of their mech designers to study his craft?! The fact that this has not happened yet indicates that we have vastly underutilized our relationship with the famous mech designer! Even those filthy dwarves have managed to send a batch of their young talents to his design lab!"

Good thing there is an entire clan that loves living mechs for her to design for!
However, it was questionable whether her eccentric works would be able to appeal to the masses. There were so many complications to her so-called living legacy mechs that only the most ardent believers in living mechs would become attracted to her specialty products!

Let’s not forget where war crimes lead…. Ves in chains on trial!
"I have slowly begun to realize that I can get away with a lot more stuff than in the past. Status makes a huge difference in our society. I have become a part of the upper echelon, so I have already joined the group of people who are able to dictate the rules as opposed to following them. It is really nice to be able to stop being afraid of stepping too far out of line."
Sci-fi · Exlor
I wonder if this is why he wad shown on trial…
As much as he hated to admit it, third-class space peasants were truly too marginal. Their population was their greatest advantage as it did not take any fancy or expensive designer baby shenanigans for them to reproduce. Raising and educating third-class children was also a lot cheaper.

You know it’s some serious Tom Foolery when Ves thinks it’s too aggressive!
Yet Ves also felt hesitant about this radical change in strategy. The contrast between abundant caution and expedient results was so extreme that he felt reluctant to embrace this shift!

"Do you not see? Think of how many times this circumstance can be repeated if it is possible to replicate the transformation of the Yuri Machine! If you can successfully replicate this transformation process and embed it into your Carmine mechs as an intrinsic feature, then each Carmine mech pilot will have an emergency option at their disposal that can turn their own battles around. Think about it. Would you rather resign yourself to total defeat where all humans will lose their lives, or would you rather make the courageous decision to sacrifice your life as a human and embrace the machine in the hopes of fighting for a chance for your friends and comrades to live?"

I wonder if attaching her to the mech shells might cause the ability for normal mechs to predate the aliens energy instead of following the demonic path?
While the Ultimatums sadly could not guarantee victory in every battle, their influence had become so significant that their effect on troop morale had become another significant benefits to the mech forces that invested in this expensive product!

This is the classic healer problem in EverQuest. My heal takes ten seconds to cast. The boss can kill the tank in 3 seconds. Soloution is to get 5 healers casting the heal spell 2 seconds apart. The same strategy can be used to destabilize the warship shields.
The firing rate of its main cannon was too slow!
Sci-fi · Exlor
In the end, the alien raiding force lost most of its warships. The human mech force had won this fight while suffering less half as many casualties than in previous cases.

Not a bad analogy at all. Programmer approved!
"That sounds nice, but what about me?" Ves wondered. "I can't keep up with you when I already have so little available time. If my understanding in archetech is way too far behind compared to you, it will be difficult for me to contribute to the design of the next iteration of the Dark Zephyr. It is like asking me to code in a completely new programming language that I have yet to learn!"

You also have 3 star designer favors too.
There were still a lot of other issues, though.
Sci-fi · Exlor
My thoughts exactly.
Ves became filled with love as he pulled both of his girls into a hug. If Gloriana did not want him to entertain his son, then he would just make do with his daughters instead!

Liu Buyan composed himself and threw away the distracting thoughts in his heart as he continued," We didn't have the time to do anything. Just as I was pulled onto the bed, there was a sudden commotion from the corridor outside the door. The door was suddenly knocked open from the outside!"
