I think what annoys me is they did a study that showed within so little as 2 days and so much as 2 weeks people become fully immersed in the role they are placed in. (Was a prison study) You would think that would apply here and he would have adapted by now.
However, now that I've had the time to think about my rash decision, I couldn't help but feel some guilt. I was basically trying to toy with people's lives, and for what? Sheer pettiness? Satiating my curiosity? To see if I could forcefully change the narrative?

I think it refers to the attack from Apocolypse if you consider the attackers' description. So I would imagine it like New York after Loki's attack just on a grander scale.

So let's make something clear, I wasn't sure if Magneto could control vibranium so I seched for it. And there were mixed answers but most sources said he couldn't and there was proof of it from the comics. So I'm going with that. That's why he couldn't use his powers to feel the location of the vibranium.

An Example: So, he meets Tony Stark and gains a boost to his intelligence and knowledge about any Skills Tony has. He focuses on making an AI and gets halfway when Tony leaves his Domain, now he no longer has the intelligence boost, but he does have the knowledge to finish the AI, and only the AI. The way the Justice League beat him was with none powered/Item using/Android members but even then, he was hard to defeat as he out-will-powered Green Lantern and dodged Green Arrows shots. They brought him back after 20 years (RL years) and gave him a suit that allowed him to keep his powers longer.]

Yup, that was 20 years after his original reveal though. I am using his original template.
If I got the skills of a doctor, I would not just get their medical knowledge. I would get their specialty and experience, if the doctor were a heart surgeon, I would have his skills and experience but at a higher level than them. Yeah, kinda broken right? This is also why I worked so hard to make my tutors' skills my own. Once someone leaves my range, I lose it all unless I make a serious effort to make it mine. The knowledge I would keep but much like memories that slowly fade over time.
