You have a point there. This is just a fantasy. People are unlikely to force themselves on kids just because they like a scene where two fictional kids are about to have intercourse. (at least I hope so) However, you forgot that this is wish fulfillment fanfiction. Most of the readers here self-insert in the main character, hence when the main character is doing something, especially having intercourse, they picture themselves as the main character, and to see them so excited and raving about the MC having intercourse with a child is a reflection of their inner desire, and that's what I'm very uncomfortable with. I know that no one here is likely to act on these desires. Afterall, everyone had thoughts of murdering someone at some point, maybe due to stress or some other reason, but few becomes murderers. As for them being different races and such, that doesn't always work mate. In this case, they might be yokai, but they are children nonetheless, with a young appearance, mentality, and outlook on life. They are far from becoming mature enough to consider intercourse. The 2000 years old young anime girl excuse doesn't work in this case. Though, yeah. I know I'm exaggerating a bit. I just felt uncomfortable at the way these guys were behaving.

You've got a point there OP. These guys are dumb. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING a human does has a goal behind it, whether conscious or unconscious, whether physical, spiritual or emotional. Humans have fickle minds, most of us are instinctively lazy, the reason why we're able to push through the instinctive desire to conserve energy is due to many reason, whether it's the pressure to survive, the desire to achieve a certain goal, or the motivation to achieve a certain dream or ideal. Either way, humans get sriven to accomplish goals when there's something pushing them. That's why very motivated and self-disciplined individuals usually have high achievements on life. You could argue that the reason why the MC wants to become stronger is to survive, but that's flawed, as he is constantly pushing himself to the edge of danger contradicting his goal. Besides, if all he wants to is to survive, he just needs to hide in some corner of the world and train. There are many ways out if he just wants to survive. I definitely wouldn't believe that a normal human would become such a highly motivated, almost desperate for strength individual without strong reasons to push him forward. Let's use a real world example to make things simple to understand. Look at yourself, can you convince yourself to use all means, pushing yourself to the edge, struggling and working hard 10+ hours everyday for that possibility of success? Just because 'I want to be successful? (I want to become stronger)' Probably not, most of us are wasting our time, procrastinating, reading novels and fanfics. Only select few highly motivated people with strong reasons pushing them can work so hard for that possibility of success. Let's say he becomes the strongest in the world, then what? What would he do then? The end of the story right? Because there's no more to do. The character of this MC is definitely one dimensional. Nothing he has stand out from the thousands of other main characters in these fanfics. I bet most of these guys forgot who he even is as soon as they stopped reading this novel.
