Okay, I'm not willing to wait months for this to update again, it's far too good. So I'm going to write fanfiction of it. I'm not familiar with the Fire: Emblem games, and I only remember playing Ocarina of Time vaguely at this point, so I'm gonna need help. Anyone interested, hit me up or reply to this comment. I'm a mediocre writer, so don't expect a fraction of this awesomeness, but if you're like me and have gotten hooked to this fic, then you won't mind.

All of that is wrong. Crystallized legend is literal. It is a physical object. Also, Gil has the original versions of every man-made treasure including NPs, and most of them are the stronger than they were when wielded by Heroes later on. The only exception is Avalon and Excalibur because they were made by the Fae and are basically a weapon of Gaia, thus they returned to the reverse side of the world after the 5th Holy Grail War ends, and Shirou loses the ability to project avalon without it literally inside his body at all times since it's a Divine object, and thus he needs direct contact to trace a copy.
For starters, there was no Gaia here trying 24/7 to erase my Projected weapons from existence, so anything I Traced remained until they broke or I dismissed them. A definite plus. Secondly, there was a cost to Tracing a weapon.

No actually, we know this because technically the Noble Phantasms Servants use are actually just copies. With the exception of Saber because Artoria isn't a true heroic spirit, all Heroic Spirits have Noble Phantasms that are just copies. The only thing that causes traced objects to break is when they are damaged because Shirou couldn't imagine the original breaking and his projections are inferior and thus more fragile so the dissonance breaks his mental image. .... Is it possible that Noble Phantasms that are traced wouldn't last as long? Well apart from the idea that when Shirou dies any traced objects would probably disappear (which has no proof) since they are technically connected to him and his reality marble, we haven't seen any traced object disappear from age, so it's hard to say. He only traced Noble Phantasms during the Holy Grail War and anything he traces, he can presumably trace again. It's also possible he can recoup the cost of a summoned weapon by unsummoning it, so really it's hard to say. I'm no expert though, I'd recommend checking out forums of people more proficient in nasu-fu. The Spacebattlesforum has a very great Nasuverse thread for that stuff, which better translations from the Visual Novel. Better than the wiki at least. I'll check it out later, my nasu-fu is out of practice.

No, because in the first timeline he used different skills from Inventory and Tracing. Also, it's implied he didn't have kids as Nah is his adopted daughter, unless that's actually a lie, or his does have a kid and it simply hasn't been mentioned yet, or even Timeline A Link is still alive.

Someone pick up that phone because I just called it! I literally thought of the main character actually being a reincarnated version of Link days ago, I think I posted a comment too. This chapter was so satisfying. This story gets better every chapter, and the updates come like a minigun. This quite possibly is the best fanfiction I have ever read, and as someone whose read works of art like Born of Caution and Men from Onyx that is high praise. You've created a truly unique and wonderful story.

I have to agree. You'd think Link would have thought maybe he should tell them after one year, but now he's left it too late.
