A graduate student stuck in their mental world. With my keyboard, I shall paint these worlds for you. My stories always start out slow, but please be patient. Nothing comes from instant satisfaction.
I am a snail and this was my story.
I'm not an ordinary snail. I knew I was special from the beginning... from the moment I hatched that fateful day on that leaf.

----------- Some words from me: ------------
To the readers who started more recently and have been waiting for an update, I'm sorry.
I've been away doing graduate school, now I'm on my way towards a Ph.D.!
Wooo.
Now that most of the hard parts of my degree has been put behind me, (definitely a lie) I think I'll try to pick up writing again.
Let's say... 1 chapter a week?
I'll try to see this through until the end.
(´•ω•`)
After finishing her club activities, Ji Min takes out an umbrella. Prepared as she always was, she took out an umbrella as she knew that there was going to be a storm that day.
Pulling her umbrella out just as a strong wind blew against her, her umbrella was carried away by the wind.
After finishing his undergraduate research experiments, Hong Xin leaves his lab in a hurry. Reaching into his bag, he searches for his umbrella but realizes that he had forgotten his umbrella at his apartment. Sighing and rubbing his temples, he sees an umbrella pass in front of him.
The story of two people who fall in love or just will they just become two umbrellas fluttering in the wind.

My first attempt at writing romance for the writing contest prompt #11.

On a side note, I too think my cover is ugly. I'm currently drawing a new one and it isn't turning out how I want it. Ha. The woes of a horrible artist are spilling out from me and onto my canvas. Send help.
(update: I re-drew it. I kind of like the sketch and line art above it so I'll keep it that way for now.)
Ream was always a curious a kid. From a young age he loved being outside, he loved the wilderness, but he was forever shut into his house by his father for fear of his safety.
Though this seemed like a punishment, his father, Main, didn't let the time go to waste. As an apothecary who made a name for himself, he taught his son everything he knew while he kept an eye on his activities.
In their small store in the middle of the woods, sick visitors came... for a cure and each time they were treated...
Until he got sick himself.
But he hid it from his son.
Every night, he would stay contained within his lab dredging away at a cure only to fail time after time.
Ingesting a slurring of herbs and medicines, his father was only able to freeze his body completely, putting a pause on the spread.
"Ream. It's time to make your mark on the world. Go, my son. Go now, find a cure. Remember father... well he will always be here waiting. I love you, my son."
And thus Ream, age 15, charged out into the world to find his father a cure thinking that he'd become a high-class apothecary to save his only family, his father... only to become a Master of Poisons.
Will his curiousness be his downfall?

I'll update when I want. Let's say once a week, for now. Maybe I'll increase my writing pace later if I get interested and if viewership increases. Updates will probably be sporadic.

Fused into the ground, Main remained in a comatose state as years passed him by. One day, he woke up. Why was he stuck there? Why was he plagued by voices? How did he survive? Questions that had missing answers just like his memories that brought him to this his current position.
A girl cries alone, but puts on a brave face for her subjects and to escape the wrath of her mother. Charr grows into her role as 4th to matriarchy. She wonder's about the future and thinks about the past.
A story about how a boy learns to use his innate gift in a world different from what he barely remembers.
A story about girl's escape from tradition and responsibility to her people.
Just a story about two souls looking for their place in their world.
Updates: When I feel like it (on pause for now. I have another idea for a novel.)
