A thick pillar of water with power over twice that of a fire hose escaped Kai's mouth and blasted into Carl's throat. Carl's neck bent, the back of his head almost touching his back. On and on, the water kept going inside him, his stomach ballooning up at a visible speed. And when it seemed Kai was finished, Carl exploded.

The book is honestly not bad. The only issue is it is not really genuine. Going back into the past would not completely revamp one's character and the way Harry acts, regardless of the revelations given to him by Death, are not really logical. It's almost like not only did he go back into the past but his personality was fused with someone else's. Someone who would, by chance, already have certain suspicions about certain characters and stuff. If the back story something like that, then this book would make much more sense. It's still good anyway.
