Author….did u think about the reaction that should’ve happened after the mc literally saw his parents being torn apart and head get squished in? Tears streaming down his face and terror are okay but not whatever benign conversation that happened in the car … he’s a kid…they’ll be in shock to even respond properly or ask anything or even do anything …but u did ur best I guess.
