Is it though? Is it really a sword anime when 90% of the 'swords' turn into bamboo snakes or a bunch of flower petals. Even the exceptions like Ichigo and Kenpachi mostly win fights based on raw power and speed rather than technique.
In the Bleach World, the existence of Reiatsu as a supernatural force meant Shinigami didn't delve as deeply into the intricacies of swordsmanship as in One Piece World.

More likely people would think it was some kind of ridiculous hoax to get insurance money or start a cult. Pharmaceutical companies may be immoral but they also aren't known to believe in miracles.
