I still think he was too rash in his decision to go to red galaxy when his clan are still too young. Home advantage is a thing and steady environment are good way to develop young clan. If he slow down and only enter the galaxy like in 3-5 yrs, it will made a huge difference in his preparation.
A grand vision momentarily swept his imagination. If he entered this battle with a mech army that was largely composed of many different specialized mech models, this battle might have turned out drastically differently!
