I absolutely love this novel. The pace is comfortable, yes its slow at the beginning but you have to understand that this is real life. Not one of those novels where its throws you into a loop, changes in the story, contradictions and just plain confusing for no reason. Its just about growing into a person, this novel shows an insight of what people with trauma or difficulties go through on a daily and on thing that we may not deem a challenge. I love jakes development with the help of his family, friends, and baseball.

all im saying is that im in love with the author. i love this story. the more i read the more i think about whatll happen their junior/senior year and past that. i truly do hope that the story continues beyond that. i cant wait to read the last chapter and at the same time i dont want to.
