I would say these three, not because they are the best work out there, although they are one of the better ones, I chose these three because they formed what webnovel has become. 1. The strongest system, as number one. it basically popularised the system genre. Before it, there were barely any system novels/fanfics but today, every other fiction has a system. 2. Coiling Dragon. I remember when I first got on webnovel 7-8 years ago. I eat tomatoes (author) kick-started a whole bunch of Wuxia and Xianxia craze with his coiling dragons and Desolate Era works. even today, many many years later I remember the story perfectly well as the world building was top notch. I think he was the first to really build up a Xianxia world like he did. I eat tomatoes (author) really did something great, and then Er Gen followed suit and built upon that type of world with his own spin (comedy). 3. Warlock of Magus world. I only read the first 50 or so chapters of it. Although the quality is good and I can see why it's so popular, it didn't suit my taste as I didn't like it. the reason I put it here is because I'd ont remember lots of western type of magic novels before it, I Think it popularised the genre and all the others after it was inspired by it. these are the "fathers" of their genre. I recommend everyone to read these and they'll understand why 99 percent of all novels that come out today are basically the same, they try to ride on the success of these novels. there are definitely some other greats that kick started their own subgenre. For example, modern day cultivation etc. But these three are the ones, that I can't think of any other that did it as well as them before them.

It wasn't that Moria was weak, the problem was in the fact that Oda hadn't really gotten the hang of powers along until much later. the seven warlord are supposed to be 1/3 of the superpowers of the sea along side The emperors and marines. although they are weaker than the emperors, they weren't supposed to be that far behind. But they were introduced early in the story so they seemed much weaker compared to those introduced later. I mean, look at Crocodile, Moria and even Shanks in the early story! I would even dare to say that in the early chapters, even Garp seems very weak compared to his appearance in the later chapters. Look at Ace, he seemed weak, but it was confirmed later on that he knew all types of Haki, and his conquerors haki could shake a whole island. this problem with power scaling is a curse on all long manga, look at Naruto, Kakashi, third Hokage, Orochimaru, all of them were much, much weaker before chunnin exams and after time skip everyone got way more powerful. that's the problem. Moria probably knew Haki as he was confirmed to be Kaidos rival in their younger days. it was just that Moria was introduced too early

Okay this has to be one of the most creative and funny comments! 😅 For those that missed it, on the last paragraph where the author wrote that MC became a civil servant instead of a teacher, this dude commented the gif just below "and where did that bring you?" and then on this paragraph where the author said that MC still became a Sensei this dude commented the gif above. funny joke, 9/10 would laugh again

Really annoying when his title changes every two sentences. so far he's been called, admiral, vice admiral, rear admiral and colonel. And not once or twice, it has been changing every other sentence since the first chapter.
