Hevveh: I honestly think that this is one of the best stories I've read so far, and I've read a lot. Everything about is well-thought and unique, (little to no tropes) and it never felt dull and it was all fleshed out. This has been a popular story for a while. So I recommend and suggest you read this story, here's why:

Translation Quality: The translations are great, (as expected from Qidian) and the story makes me laugh as the protagonist smacks the faces of people who underestimated him, I've seen little to no errors at all concerning grammar or punctuation and it makes it easy for you to understand what's happening.

Updating Stability/Speed: It ticks me off since this story is one of the best I've read so far, I constantly wait and there are many other people like me out there. 1 chapter everyday for 5 days in a week isn't enough, taking into account the quality of this story and how brilliant it is. Thought the updating speed isn't good for those impatient, the stability is true to it's word. They always update every day which is enough for me.

World Building: It slowly builds up and doesn't just throw a bunch of information at you expecting to have to have powers like the main character here (unless you do). The build up of the world is decent but it just doesn't explain enough really about the roles and the other places other than where the main character is. It just gives you the information you need where you are.

Character Design: The characters are well-fleshed out and their are no characters being introduced that are basically just 2-D with no personality. They all have a role and even if they play a minor one they are mentioned a few more times later on in the story. The characters develop throughout the story and don't just have the same personality.

Story Development: The plot of the story is very interesting as it is, I've read many online and translated novels and this barely follows any tropes, (you can't expect there to be none with so many stories). It also goes at a decent pacing that is persistent, (he doesn't just rise 4 realms in 1 go). You can expect the plot to be great as it's very unique, I was always wanting more and it never felt dull.

You can expect the story to be brilliant and splendid, you will always be on the edge of your seat! I rate this 4.6 stars!

Hevveh: Gourmet Food Supplier is good, but honestly, I find it tedious how most things always repeat, (but of course the food descriptions are the best). I like idea that this story is getting, but descriptions of people eating every chapter and getting shocked with surprise, is getting boring. Though it's mostly good and it looks like it's starting to develop more adventure and action as of now. I liked it so far excluding the repetition and here's why:

Translation Quality: Like always, Qidian and their translators plus editors make some of the best translations out there (as expected). I have found barely any errors at all in grammar and punctuation, and even if I did, they are minor (good job editors!).

Updating Stability: I can't say anything about Translation Quality and Updating Stability since it's expected of Qidian to do their thing and somehow manage to update and translate with good quality and decent speed. They have decent translation speed that keeps up with the release schedule of the author, and they constantly keep their word on how much chapters they will post every week.

Story Development: The story's plot so far is eating and rising in ranks and having food better than everyone else, while constantly being praised. Though it seems there are hints that something bigger might happen in the future and you might notice these. Thought that's it so far into 100 chapters and I think the plot has been mostly great.

Character Design: I feel like the only character is the main character, you might think that everyone else just eats his food and becomes shocked, like a side character, but they also play important roles in the development in the story, and the main character. Without the others pestering the main character, their would be no goal, they have personality. Which is why I still love it anyways.

World Background: The world doesn't really need that much explanation since the main character pretty much only makes food and doesn't venture outside a lot. There is some but you should also know that it goes into lots of explaining characters and back stories. Which is enough for me.

Taking into account all of this, I liked this, and you should read it. I would recommend Gourmet Food Supplier at 4.4 stars! (Try not to get hungry while reading this!)

Hevveh: Now, sorry if my reviews are too long but, this story is great and was in my opinion, one of the best. It was high-quality and had barely any flaws and a good way to pass time, it's light-hearted and fun to read! I had a joy reading and be assured I actually read the novel, it doesn't back away from the original goal and Qidian chooses novels well! Here's why:

Translation Quality: Now, as we all know, Qidian has high-quality translations and I've seen no errors currently while reading this. It's been expected of Qidian and better translations means better quality and understanding. It makes it way easier to read, (compared to other translations I've seen on sites) and you should find no problems reading this.

Updating Stability: The translations manage to have good stability and quality while updating (which is as always expected of Qidian). The translation speed is a little slow but, it ties in with the updates for the raws. A translation frequency surpassing the release frequency of the original novel isn't good. Which is why I have no problems regarding this.

Story Development: The plot of the story is ******, cooking. Though it has times where it delves into other things, it's mainly about cooking. I like the simplicity and it explains well why these things happened and there aren't any info dumps telling you things that you wont need to know or repeated information. This is great since, (unless you're a cultivator) memorizing information only to find out you never needed to know it, isn't gonna make you happy. There are basically no tropes and the story follows the objective. The plot is outstanding, it's well explained, and unique.

Character Design: The characters have unique personalities and they aren't repeated, (unless you count arrogant young masters) though some characters don't have much background. The main characters and characters develop throughout the story and this can be seen if you pay attention. Although there isn't enough background information on some of the characters, it makes it up with plot and thought-out personalities.

World Background: The world is slowly introduced to you at good pace, I love how it's like that. Like usual, the world and cultivation systems are unique and are easy to understand. They don't diverge into information you don't need to know yet which makes it so much easier to know what's happening, and how the world works. This is wonderful and I liked how it did it at a reasonable pace.

Again, sorry if my reviews are too long, but Gourmet of Another World is a great story, and you should read it. I recommend this story at 4.8 stars!

Hevveh: I really can't express how good this novel is. I've been following this since translated chapter 10, and it's been great the whole way. I can't find anything wrong with the story and it's literally one of the best stories out there. I'll try to make it short this time, since it's just so good it doesn't really need any criticism. Here's why:

Translation Quality: Qidian, always has some of the best translations (as expected). They choose all their translators well, and the translator for I'm Really A Superstar, makes good translations. The poems and songs and etc. were all translated well and have great quality. I wouldn't believe it if you said you found a mistake in grammar. If you did, I'm 100% sure it was very minor.

Updating Stability: The updating stability is great, the chapters are given to you at a reasonable pace and quality, and most of the time, more chapters are given then said. The stability has basically never been thrown off course, and the schedule has always been followed.

Story Development: The plot, is unique. The idea might be something common, but the way the author takes it and manages it makes it unique. The story never has a dull moment (other than fillers), and makes you curse for all the cliffhangers.

Character Design: All the characters that appear often and are named have distinct personalities, and even a few hundred chapters later they still appear in some way. They aren't boring and they all develop, (even the antagonists).

World Background: Most of the information is taken from real life, but that makes the world unique and more realistic, as most stories don't do that. The world changes and develops and makes sense, and you can easily perceive the developments and changes that are happening.

That is all, this review is probably one of my short ones, because the reviews get shorter the better the novel is. I recommend and rate this story as a 5.0, full stars. I hope you enjoy reading this!

Sorry if my reviews are long, but you'll like the mouth-watering descriptions of these foods! It makes me hungry every time. No go ahead and read! View More

It's okay to read, for binge readers, though it's understandable if you don't want to continue and drop it, but in my opinion it's an okay read for you to binge. Sorry if my reviews are long! View More

Hevveh: Sorry if my reviews are too long but, this a modern day cultivation story, which is pretty uncommon. Now, it's very slow paced but some of you may like it that way since it's slightly reasonable, knowing that there are questions that haven't been solved yet throughout the story. I had few problems reading this at all and it's pretty good, as Qidian chose well. Here's why:

Translation Quality: The quality of Qidian's translations are truly one of the best, the editors and translators included. This is always expected from me, and probably most of the readers on Qidian. I literally found no errors in grammar/punctuation and it was all easily read and understood.

Updating Stability: The update stability (like always) was always followed by and true from what I've seen. The translators and editors have a schedule and they obey it (5 chapters a week). The translation speed though, could be a little faster, maybe 7 days/week. I say that since the novel is already completed and still has about 2000 chapters to go. Other than that no problems with this.

Story Development: The story and plot develops at a VERY slow pace. But if you ignore that, you find almost no problems. If you do read past the beginning, (unlike some other people) you find that it slowly get's better. There is a clear objective and the plot is reasonable and there isn't any plot holes. As the information is also given to you at reasonable times, as it is, the plot is pretty good.

Character Design: The main character and some very important characters have personalities and each have goals and backstories. But the side characters aren't really realistic, and girls may fall in love too easily (to the extent of 10 days together = love forever). He easily discards girls even if that happens (for the sake of cultivation) and makes it look like they're side characters, although they aren't, and indeed do help with the development of story and the main character. Which is why this is okay.

World Background: The world develops slowly and information is given to you slowly (like I said before). No info dumps and the world development isn't only at the beginning, (like some stories) and it develops throughout the story instead of all the info at the beginning. This makes it comprehensive and allows you to take it all in, and know what's happening.

Taking all of that into account, I rate and recommend this story at 4.4 stars! I liked this story and hopefully you do too, just get through the beginning and it'll get better (in my opinion)! Go ahead and read now.

I hope you liked Gourmet of Another World like I did! If you haven't read it yet, do now! View More
