LLawliet: In most mmos bosses have ridiculous amounts of hp and pve dps is much higher than pvp dps. In most mmos, devs balance pvp differently to pve which is good game design as it allows for specific targeting and nerfing of overpowered combos and stunlocks than are fine for pve gameplay but terrorize pvp.

ReganDryke: Another note on the author description of MMO. One skill does 2000 damage. The character who launched that skill has only 500 hp. Which mean that he would get OS by his own spell if it was casted at him. In a game that include PvP that is poor design.

LLawliet: To start, I've seen so many people complaining about the slow pacing of the novel. Please understand that it is a SCHOOL SETTING, you should be expecting relatively slow pacing. How many novels with school settings have fast pacing? Generally not very many. When you see that it's a school setting, this pacing is what you are signing up for.
On another note, the novel has decent to good character development and world building due to the "filler" chapters (if you think that these chapters are filler then I'm sorry that your IQ is in the double digits). Whilst it isn't the best novel, its refreshing to see a novel that places emphasis on characters and its world rather than meaningless action. If anything, the action based chapters are the worst part of the novel as they do nothing to advance the story or develop the characters/world and are clearly the most filler-like parts of the novel.

LLawliet: A chapter is filler if it does absolutely nothing to advance the story. In terms of character development and world building, the action chapters you want are the most likely chapters to provide nothing but meaningless fights. Character development + world building =/= filler.

LLawliet: Youd think that, but unless the author is planning a follow up novel, as this novel shifting to that genre would not be a good change of tone, it is very unlikely.

LLawliet: When most people read even relatively quickly, you dont read word by word. Your brain picks up keywords and builds the rest of the sentence around those keywords to save time. Its te sme reson why yu cn rea wrd that hve letrs misin.

Zeiss: Idk about you but I read everything word by word?? The alternative is skimming through, like when you're doing a science pamphlet back in grade school, but otherwise I don't know wtf you're saying.
