Why does he think Hermione's the one possessed.. This is annoying the heck out of me.
'If I remember correctly Harry gets blamed for the Noriss, in the movies. If I need to prove my innocence, I need to get my suspicion transferred over to Longbottom. And I need to keep an eye on Hermione as well. Her possessed self could go on a psycho mode and could pin more blame on me,' Ronan thought.

Another reason that Ronan wanted to befriend the twins was because he wanted an artifact that they would make in the future. He vaguely remembers the twins giving Harry a piece of parchment that shows what everyone in the school is doing and where they are at all times. Ronan had no idea how the twins made such a precious thing, but he would like to have his hands on such an item, it could be very useful to him in the future…

For most of the holidays, Ronan kept himself locked in his house. He spent his days studying, practicing his Occlumency, and practicing his telekinesis, which had leaps and bounds since the first year. The only day he decided to step out of his humble aboard was on 20th August, when an American Bald Eagle came to his house with an invitation letter for Malfoy's birthday dinner.

Then he went to the Owl and Pet Emporium. From there he brought a barn owl, it was a small whitish-brown thing that had too much energy for his taste. But it would get the job done for him now. Yep, he remember absolutely nothing beside the titles of the books and the names of the golden trio, and even that is iffy. He knows nothing else.
Ronan didnt comment on anything. Surely Hagrid is not planning to raise a dragon in his small wooden cottage. Maybe the poor bloke wanted to see whether he could raise one or not. He felt a little bad for Hagrid, because breeding dragons was illegal in England.

More nightmares? For a natural occlumen, he's surprisingly mentally unstable isn't he?
If that was not enough, The Tale of Three Brothers had been a source of his nightmare as well. He knew that he had heard the story before, and if his suspicion was right then this story might be central to the Harry Potter plot. So between his classes, he would venture to the Library to do some research about the subject, trying to find a clue whether this is just a mere bedtime story, or does it holds some historical significance as well. But till then, he had no luck in his research.

Ok i'm now convinced that this dude lied when he said he remembered the movies...... He is as clueless as someone having only heard of the books through a friend of his.
But when Ronan was reading the book, he came across a story that made him shift in his seat. It was a story called, The Tale of Three Brothers, he had never heard the name of that story before. But the thing was, the story itself seemed very familiar to him.

If his theory about those kids related to his first life is indeed true, and the mirror was able to project it on its surface means that his past life memories are in his brain somewhere. This research would also help him to find out more about his personal abilities, whose research came to a halt when he started his second-year course. And from what he read so far, there was one subject that had gotten his interest and attention. And it is called Occlumency.

How dumb.. MC briefly considering possible future children is enough to completly destabilize him..
He visited the classroom in which the mirror was kept and was sure enough as Harry had mentioned, the mirror had been moved from the place. The suspense of the kids was killing him, eating him alive. He even started having nightmares about it. This made him realize that he needed to do something about it, or he might go insane. To get his affairs in order, he slowed down his second-year course study and started researching mind magic.

Although Ronan had no idea who would win the match, he didnt care about it. What he cared about was the vision that he saw in the mirror, since the day he had seen it, he couldnt stop thinking about it. Somehow he had become obsessed with the few seconds worth of vision that he had seen in the mirror and cant stop thinking about it.

I can understand forgetting WHERE the room was... But forgetting HOW to open it is inexcusable.
Once again he reenacted everything from what happened last night, followed every step, and even went through the monologue that he had with him the other night. Only then did he realize that the room only appeared when one wished for a room, three times. After getting through with that, he got into the room and started experimenting with the magic that he had learned so far.

Forced plot.. Hate those.
Dejected, he started going back, he figured that some ice cream could cheer him up. While going back, he stopped in front of the tapestry, because on the opposite side, a door had appeared. It was not any ordinary door, it was intricately designed and looked very beautiful. To see whether this door led somewhere, he twisted the knob and pushed it open. The door led to a rather large room with moving brown automaton statues with fake wands in their hands. He smiled, he recognized those things, they were in the films. He had finally found The Room.

He was surprised when Professor reprimanded Malfoy as he had been using the wrong grip all the years, he glanced and saw that Harry and his group also smirked at Malfoy. He also noticed that Neville was very nervous for some reason, he figured that the boy must be frightened of flying. It made sense, the guy was a wimp and a simple spider could spook the boy.

During their conversation, he didnt notice when he ate his dinner, time seemed to pass by in a blink of an eye. In the end after getting some insights on how the messages in the ministry work, Ronan knew what kinds of changes he needed to make in his initial idea. When he was done, he suggested to Arthur that if he wanted to leave the job at the ministry, he would be more than happy to accommodate him in his company.
