Replied to CelsoMarques if I remember right , no. they think the resistance to dragon type is some kind of ability.
Umbreon and Espeon were understood as Eevelutions, but no one knew for sure how they evolved. Sylveon was completely unknown. So finding and detailing the methods for all the Eevelutions using what he knew from his previous life was one of his selected projects.
