The floating letters continued to fill his vision. Samuel reached out and touched the button that said "Yes." As soon as he did, a beam of light shot out from the button and it hit him in the forehead. He felt a searing pain in his brain. Enduring the pain took all his mental willpower but he didn't know what would happen if he blacked out while in this state of limbo.

So far, the novel has been action-packed. The writing quality is great, though there are some sentences that could be improved. The character development is smooth and the worldbuilding is interesting and leaves you wanting to know more. Definitely had a few chapters where it was a bit of an infodump but they were engaging enough to not feel disruptive to the story.
