I don't like this aspect of the story. Erio in my eyes was a great character because he was a regular monster that MADE himself special. With him being a sorta reincarnated sage, it makes him more of a chosen one instead of a rising anti-hero. He wanted to make the world a better place for his kids because they affected him on an emotional level, not because he was the super-duper-special-guy-able-to-tear-down-the-established-system-because-his-crystal-is-the-largest. I don't know. Anyone else?

ch 48 The Failed Dungeon
Fantasy · DiceVR
I see three roads: 1. Foster fights her for it. 2. Foster recruits he using his OTHERWORLDLY charsisma. 3. Foster calmly asks the shopkeep for a second map. (resorting to either step 1 or 2 when he inevitably says that map was the last one)

The one thing that transcends dimensions and worlds: bureaucracy.

I hope they have normal bread in this world; good post-vomit food.
ch 42 Knockout

An earlier comment likened this novel to a DND campaign with the boyz. Going along that line of thinking, foster and his gang have really good rolls so far. But I look forward to the day that they roll a 1 and taunt god into a bare knuckled fistfight to the death.
