Remember that this is a resource barren world and a medieval setting, there's probably a few breathing techniques that are just floating around, but most common folk aren't gonna try it beyond a casual attempt even if they come across one, they're too busy working hard just to get by, not to mention they said at the start you typically have to train for a good 4 years or more to even reach the point for your body to even be able to try the breathing technique, the MC's a freak that made all this possible, before it wouldn't have been feasible, viable, or even desirable for those in a position to attempt it. blade god likely means saber god, or more specifically a Chinese greatsword, its a common mistranslation, think of it like a 'sword' is a blade with two edges and a point usually focused on more agile or dexterous movements, while a 'blade' or saber is any kind of heavy blade, often with only a single edge(but not always), with a focus on chopping more than slashing or stabbing persay(like you would with a sword), it could be anything from a butcher's cleaver to a scimitar to a greatsword, as for why an axe wouldn't be covered under this title, I expect its from it having a longer handle or reach, probably being treated more closely to a polearm or great axe, but dunno they haven't described it yet
