Thank you author for bringing such a fun story with good pacing. I am thoroughly enjoying this novel so far. I was so drawn into it that I binged it in one sitting. Now I don't know how far you have this story planned out. with all the stories I've read, I think it would be a nice change of pace if the couples of Elara/Jon and Gwen/Roderick stayed the same. Like Roderick saw Jon as an annoyance and also notices that Gwen still has conflicted feelings for him. And because of that he tries to keep Jon and Elora together. That way Gwen will stay with him and stay friends with Jon. Like along the lines of a spoiled young master with common sense that actually contemplates the consequences of his decisions.

Ah. military grade. The most expensive that only works most of the time.
The system soon gifted Xzavier his prized possessions. The fresh mechanical smell of military grade weapons always excited Xzavier. He took out every piece of equipment and weapon and inspected it thoroughly.

Apparently she is part of the council, but not recognized as a master.
"Take a seat." I motioned to a plush chair near the center of the room. "Get a drink if you want, but relax. Your not under any threat of harm as long as you answer truthfully."

"A very simple reason," I said with a smile as a quote from one of the movies I liked a lot came to my head. "It was my attempt to show you that I am a person of focus, commitment, and sheer... cough, will," I claimed.

"to not get die..."? Obviously people will die if they are killed.
The time was two weeks, just enough to not get die by toxic in the forest's air. But with each passing day, this toxic will affect the progress and judgment of participants, even reducing their action and reaction capabilities.

Ketis snorted. "The Vulcan Faith is one of the most contradictory religions that I've encountered, and trust me, I've seen some crazy stuff. How is it possible for a dwarf-centric religion to worship a tall folk as their revered god of all of the possible choices? Whoever came up with this dumb idea practically set up the dwarves for failure! From what I've read about the Vulcan Empire, the infighting between those who believe Vulcan to be a human and those who think he's a dwarf has been raging on for many decades!"

"That is generally the case..."? So he's not denying the snobby and arrogant comments?
"That is generally the case, but it is not a hard rule." Jovy said. "The pilots with C-grade genetic aptitudes have mostly grown up from within our Association. Their parents might not all be rich and powerful, but they have enough pull to place their children into a mech academy that is especially geared towards training mech cadets of inferior talent. If these cadets manage to pass all of their courses, they become qualified to pilot what is informally known as lesser first-class multipurpose mechs. This does not permit them to undertake any important missions, but they can still act as reservists and ordinary guards."
