That's not exactly comparable. A chair is a lot bulkier and heavier than a knife, also it's centre of mass is relatively far out. You'd have a lot more momentum in your hit but that would also make you a lot slower. Usually, if you miss the first hit with something like that, it's over for you if you don't let go of said object. Added to this, a knife's wounds are way more dangerous.

This has become something I'm really looking forward to for the end of the day. Getting those chapters pretty much daily is just so comforting in an almost therapeutic kind of way. I just love this relaxed attitude of the pacing and even the fact that it's not all action. Keep it up! Love~

I really, really like the concept of two minds working together seamlessly like that, yet still being their separate... thought processes? It's kinda still a singular identity but being split into two awarenesses, I guess? Either way, it sounds so awesome!

Good job on all of this! It seems I really tuned in at the right time, to finish this just as the end of arc one is released. This was an immensely enjoyable read, I really like how you managed to combine this leveling system and strength gaining with such a wholesome story. It's pretty unique and I'm looking forward to the continuation. Have a nice break and relax some, will you?

As Sun Tzu said "Throw your soldiers into position, once there's no escape, and they will prefer death to flight." Had only one of them said something along the lines of "We can't get out we gotta take him down together", it's likely that at least some would've survived. But yeah, that's what panic does to the human mind. I'm actually surprised no one went into shock and just didn't move.

I don't mean to be rude, but are we reading the same story? I'll admit that the author's writing style is creative to say the least, there are, however, a vast amount of grammatical errors. Enough for me to entirely lose interest halfway through the first chapter. Does it get better in that regard?
