Even though it's been four months and you probably got an answer or forgot about it completely, it just seems like a continuation of thier conversation in the library. If one was to look backwards there would be two things to note: Helix freed Emilia on that same day, and then on their way back the incident happened. In the original scene in the library it was mentioned that when their conversation turned serious and the librarian was startled, the Princess dismissed her strictly and told her to lock up or sorts. Now they could have moved to a different area, but with them being alone in the library at that point and this novel poking at cliches I infer that they are still in the Library. I have only read to this point so far and all at once so the story is quite fresh at this point. Either way, that is my Inference on Location for Anyone curious. Now it's back to grinding the story.
