There’s a ton of novels like that (‘foreigners’ are always the enemy in Chinese novels), this though I don’t think is blatant propaganda. If he had said ‘as someone with 12 years of compulsory educated under the stars-and-stripes …’ it would be the same thing. Just my opinion though.

I guess the [perspective] here is that Naruto Fan-fictions always greatly exaggerate the negative treatment Naruto received in order to make the 3rd Hokage look bad. Don’t forget, Naruto did have friends (albeit ‘weirdo’ friends), and his home life was never greatly expanded on, but it’s not hard to imagine that he did have someone come and clean his apartment… and even if he spent all his allowance on ramen I don’t think he ever claimed to go hungry in the manga.

I dislike these numbers… in general it’s hard to scale up that high and it still make sense unless it’s like a video game where ‘defense’ is an attribute that also grows.

I literally know life-long hunters who still grimace when cleaning a deer that they’ve shot. For new hunters it’s called ‘buck fever’ when they have the shot lined up but can’t bring themselves to pull the trigger. Killing is a lot different from eating meat, and I think to break it down as ‘oh that’s just the circle of like’ is a little misinformed when talking about a person who has never killed. Have you ever killed?

Yeah, the combat rifle looks a lot better and can be modded to use .308 ammo instead of the weak 5.56.

For a sword ‘springiness’ should be more important than just toughness. I know it’s a magical sword, but irl swords that can slightly bend are better than rigid ones.
