not super surprised
Ben turned to her and found a girl his age, with a grin on her face. She had long messy black hair, black irises, wore a black shirt and pants that had tons of tears in them. She was kind of cute, but that was marred by the fact that she was filthy and kind of smelled bad. The most interesting part, was the padlock she had hanging around her neck on a string. (Just picture Mikasa or something.)

to be perfectly honest..... anyone who is different for one reason or another wants to be treated like they are normal. so objectifying a feminine sounding Ai is, while not the best thing, it is a good thing, because it helps them feel normal.

this is where I stop..... the sentences seem fine individually, but the way you are telling the story is very poorly done. it feels very dry and almost like you are just listing things that happened instead of telling us it happened. there is a difference. One sounds like a robot, the other sounds like a human.

Having used nanites to break down the food he's been eating and turned them into 'Nutri-bars' that basically acted as granola bars, that focused on helping him maximize the gains.

considering that the velocity of an anti-materiel rifle is around 800 m/s....... yeah, it's quite long. if anything, it should be 6 seconds or less. that's accounting for better tech, creating better velocity. it being a less powerful rifle in general, lowering the velocity back down a bit. also, taking gravity and air pressure into account, lowering the velocity more. if anything, I might be high balling the time a bit much. TLDR, I'm not sure the author has a clue about muzzle velocity.
It took 11 seconds for the bullet to hit, and it blew apart the sign. It was a hit.

I never watched omniverse for more than a couple of episodes, but I swear watching something in Alien Force or Ultimate Alien that mentioned Kevin's dad.
(So, in regards to the Devin situation. Omniverse tried to make it seem like he didn't actually exist and was a false memory made by Servantis, but that story is fucking stupid and I refuse to include it in my story.)
