There is a typo in the end btw. The indescribale faint haze that appeared should be on the lady boss's face rather than on Senior Gem Emperor's face, according to the raw content.

The first line should be "Hai Yunfan really wanted to quit this job" rather than "Hai Yunfan really didn't want to do it".
I haven't unlocked this chapter to see the rest of this chapter as I did not check in every day to have enough spirit stones. View More

The Flying Chess in today’s chapter is actually the Aeroplane Chess. The rule of the game is basically described in wiki, which nearly fully relies on luck. When they were discussing seriously about Wang Lu’s plan while playing chess, we might expect it would be a serious type of chess game which requires much calculation, but then it turns out to be the Aeroplane Chess.
Not sure if every reader got the point of this part, so I put this explanation in case. View More

Mozi_follower: Trivia:

WL's title translated as Daoist Master actually Zhenren (Zhen=real; Ren=Man/Perfected Man) which is a real title in daoism pantheon. You can trace back to ancient daoism text,. Seemingly granted to cultivators from Jindan, Yuanying (nascent soul), Huashen (Deity). While above that the Supreme level is Zhenjun (zhen=real;Jun=Lord;monarch;emperor) and usually written in English translation of Daoism text as "Perfected Lord". Also a real title in Daoism pantheon.

Must be understood that in real world, Daoism split into Daojia= dao religion which was similar to Intelligence sect founded by WL,
While there are old documented stories of real immortals live in seclusion in mountains and very mysterious. They resemble Rogue/Loose cultivators in xianxia novels.

I think that did not mean a dick. When Wang Wu said she was working very hard, she meant that she put very much efforts in fighting against an earth immortal, so plz give me more money...When Wang Lu said yeah, you indeed worked very hard, while he emphasized the word “hard”, he meant that I know you were working very hard, but not in fighting. You were busy having fun with your old lover right? You must have been working so hard and feel tired right now... View More

batman9: "The words "really hard" were spoken clearly and unhurriedly . Thereupon, the ever-fearless Wang Wu actually began to sweat . " can you explain this joke to me i can't really believe wang wu will sweat by seeing a hard dick..

Tispower: For those that are wondering what is happening!!
I jumped on and joined the face book group then the community group of Webnovel. After looking around I found some comments threads reading through them I found out that the translators are away for a month, but should be back soon ( probably within the week) also it talked about the translators wanting to finish the book this year which is 4 releases plus a week!
( I feel your pain fellow doaists but there is still hope of a bright future!!)
I hope this posts helps ppl calm down and feel better for the future of this under rated amazing book! I’ll keep my eye out for new information and if things change I’ll drop another post.

I see. I downloaded the Webnovel app. In these several days, I often got many notifications on my phone by your liking my comments, but you rarely made a comment. You have read hundreds of chapters just in several days, so I think you should like this novel. It is indeed a good novel which worths to read till the end. However, the updating rate has dropped to about 3 chapters a week recently, and I think this is one of the main reasons that many readers lose patience and quit for a while, which causes the rank of this novel drop dramatically. I have read the raw of the whole story multiple times and hopefully you could follow this wonderful story till the end. Best wishes for you, my friend. View More

KatieThairu: True. I'm one of them. I don't comment often.

Oh, although I feel this author has put much more respect on female characters than those other classical cultivation novels, I still feel most of the readers are male. I’m not sure if female readers would like this kind of novel, or they might feel kind of offended? (exp. Wang Lu and Wang Wu often talk so vulgar, while they behave so shy. Also, the characters might talks so rude, but they meanwhile behave differently.) View More

KatieThairu: Me. But why are you curious about this?

DaoistCitizen: I originally wasn't fixated whatsoever onto the story, at a lot of segments the development turns out arduous, or leaves an indescribably annoying itch after an arc has ended.
And yet, I keep coming back to it.
Time after time, it feels like the author might run out of ideas, and the world felt really dull and shallow - .... as shallow as you could call, the endless abyss itself. The story feels like a spiral that expands to infinity in the overarching narrative, which although the transitions feel weak, the arc from the moment he arrived to the western continent, I can't even begin to describe the sheer epicness and continuous hurdles and excitements that we face. The humor isn't even the greatest point of this story in my opinion, but the truly legendary overarching narrative - from the demon world arc to the time travel arc, the revelation was done piece by piece that we could derive our own conclusions on said stories, and yet, from the beginning to the end - no one expected the truly incredible twists that grip your heart.
And all this, in such a way that although the main character seems to be the type to pull plot armor out of his ass, you feel actual fear and danger for the main cast, as the urgency and vibrancy of the world makes you both attached and worried for the characters within!
The start might feel slow for some, but believe me, stick with it. The pace is a constant acceleration leading to an incredible climax - by the time you get to meet Ouyang Shang, you have truly discovered the best characterization of a main character of all times out of quite literally any piece of literature i've read. Which is solely my opinion, of course.

I think there have been enough details in this chapter. Ouyang Shang and the Demon King will have a mental fight in Ouyang Shang's body. If Ouyang Shang wins, he will have the memory and knowledge of an Immortal, but if the demon king wins, the demon king will take over Ouyang Shang's body, which has the top level talent in Nine Region. Since the demon king had been very weak state (like in a soul fragment state but still too powerful for a normal cultivator), the shameless Ouyang Shang played a trick and cheated as choosing to delay this bet in a tricky way, and finally comes back as Wang Lu and wins this bet after 150 years. View More

Colliefire: After reading a few times I finally get it... Notice how the exact details of the bet between Demon king and Ouyang Shang were never revealed, it is just mentioned what the prize would be. But Ouyang Shang mentioned that it would be okay to take a hundred years to regroup and win by then and that Wang Lu won the war. This likely means they likely bet on something related to that. Still not fully clear in this chapter.

I don’t think there is any detailed information in English about that novel right now. But I recommend you don’t read this one, I think it is the worst novel of this author. It has ended now, but many things have not been explained. It just went into an end suddenly. The author told that he found this novel so difficult to continue, and his expectation and plan on this novel before the start seem too unrealistic. He said he had learnt a lot from this unsatisfying try and would start his next novel soon. View More
