Like some might’ve seen my rant but my misgiving about the talent hiding system was this. Atticus talent was hidden to Advanced + if memory serves me correctly so theoretically during this test his power should actually been nerfed to Advanced + like actually suppressed by the artifact but it ls not and that’s my misgivings about talent and suppression built in because if that was the case then shouldn’t he have been able to trick the artifact into thinking he was a normal human when it suppressed his mana core other times? I know that is more technical and theoretical it just my personal hatred for stuff like that ima need a logical explanation because it’s current purpose is just a annoying plot point ima hate until it’s gone or replaced by a artifact. A Plot point that serve no purpose are a No No

I still want to add that Atticus is about to join the Apex Games in probably a year, maybe two. I can’t recall the exact deadline. After this fight, no one is going to believe Atticus’ rank. The paragons don’t believe it already, and now even the dumbest of intermediate low-tier families will see it. At the Apex Games, they will surely know his talent 1000% (my assumption). I wonder how his mother will react to that news. There are so many things I want to see unfold, but in due time. I just want to point out how dumb the ability to hide one’s rank is. In my honest opinion, it’s outright stupid. An artifact would’ve done the trick, but having it built into his talent was a bit of a turn-off for me. He was already in a paragon family, so he had resources for protection (of his rank and so on). These are all theories and my little peeves; nothing major. I’m just not a fan of hiding rank built into talent. It just seems wrong, and I can’t express my hatred for it enough. It sets a pretense that a talent at Atticus’ level has never existed before among all these races. Yeah, right. I know the author never said that explicitly, but it seems like a talent of that level is unheard of. His mother doesn’t even want to share it with his dad? His dad probed him at birth and doesn’t know his talent limit? His grandfather and other paragons are the only ones with some idea, but it’s super vague. We don’t know the extent, and it was never confirmed. The only reason so far is because of the traitors of the human race, and out forces’ paragons (aka non-humans) will try to assassinate him before he fully blooms. Okay, let me stop ranting. I am so sorry, I was just typing my random thoughts about the story so far and didn’t want to delete it because I like to refer to my old opinions and thoughts on novels I like.I know these will be answered within due time but maybe someone with a better thinking cap can help answer some of my misgivings or have theories of their own they would like to share

If Atticus was master- I wouldn’t doubt him killing him but at expert+ fighting a Grandmaster and we don’t know what skills Atticus has unlocked since it hasn’t been covered how much of his power is still confined. But, This is better we get to see him go all out and maybe just maybe exo suit showcase?? Depending on Atticus mood and if he really wants to win
