Not sure if this was written badly or translated badly. I'm assuming translated, because this isn't the only time I've seen really strange wording. It should read as follows to make sense in context. At this point I'm almost positive ccp breaths down the neck of the publishers to push chinese nationalist propaganda who then shove it down the throats of the editors and writers. I don't think I remember a single chinese novel without some sort of nationalism. Most korean ones are the same way just to a smaller degree.

There is an inconsistency here. In the previous paragraph the MC can instantly tell he's a martial senior but he introduces himself as an apprentice in this paragraph.

The editing on these chapters has been getting worse compared to the early chapters. Lack of certain translations. Lack of punctuation. Lack of capitalization. The plot/story is still fine but now its more like reading a machine translation than something I'm paying stones for.

The translator not being consistent paragraph to paragraph with the pronouns for the same character is annoying. It'd be one thing if it was a character we hadn't seen for 50 chapters but it's literally flip flopping the pronouns for the same character multiple times in the same chapter.
