If I understand you correctly, you want to use xampp on your pc to host the website? I would strongly advise you against doing that in your case. Setting up a public facing website opens a lot of potential attack points for your own pc and home network. Doing this in a reasonable way takes quiet a bit of knowhow and maintenance, which you don't have from your statement. If I misunderstood your plan just say so and I will answer to that as well. (it student with some general knowledge in this area)

Sad to hear about the hiatus and potentially drop, I really enjoy this story. Would be cool to see alacurd creating havoc in a marvel universe, I would love if you continue on this line. But I can definitely understand your reasons and wish you all the best. Don't get me wrong, but I hope you get bored at some point and continue writing ;-)
