I thought the nightmare spell brought the vile thieving bird into the dream realm after it stole Sunny's fate? There should be 2 of them if the original is still alive in the tomb.
Wonder how Nick got his ability from the nightmare
🐀🐀🐀🐀
We have not seen Sunny at full power ever since he became a master. Soul serpent went to Rain, and he's never had the chance to go all out with everything he's got. Maybe he'll have a chance vs the sovereigns? Until then he's staying nerfed.
The Emperor protects
The way the man sat on his throne reminded Nick of the way the Nightmare lay on the Zephyx.

Imagine this is the setting for the next nightmare. Or maybe Neph's parents had this in theirs.
They left one of their own in the cage they had built to imprison the Void, and, full of shame, erased his existence from the world.

Am I missing something here? Why couldn't they do both before the party split up? If the first seeker is mindless, then there's no real rush.
"So, Sunny… you must decide. I've given the choice back to you. Now, it's in your hands."

Half the readers believe Cassie can see fate but can't change it. The other half believes in the butterfly effect where any change can produce drastic results. What we end up is a little bit of A and little bit of B which becomes a convoluted mess where the author can't commit to one direction without contradicting what he previously wrote. TLDR: Cassie good, Oracle class bad.
Just knowing someone's fate instantly gives you two options. To either accept fate or deny it. She can easily just kill someone right now who was fated to die in the future. Having the power to do so, but just choosing not to is alot different than just being a spectator knowing no matter what you do, nothing will change.
Destabilizing your economy to win the war is totally worth imo.
