Overall impression; I like how at times, the writing gives off a very... mysterious kind of feeling. However, I do not like how the multiple points of view were used without any obvious change or warnings to the narration. Sometimes, it's the MC, sometimes it's coming from an omniscient pov, which can get confusing but I assume it gets better over time. The text is very much relatable, or at least from how I interpret it and it gives off a very realistically feel of those sorts. I'll put this on my wait-list to read because I rarely read male MC novels which could capture me based on the first chapter.
