Pascal felt that he had already humbled himself by coming here today. He decided to give Vicki a chance to acquire his opera troupe. As a condition, he wanted half of the Black Cat Opera's proprietary rights.

I get why they say DVD, but wouldn’t it be more appropriate to call it a “photostone player” (since DVDs haven’t been invented in this world).
A story acted out by real people would be saved into the Photostone and then spread to the entire world with the DVD player to make everyone fall in love with the story.

Hey, it’s the group Mag and Amy met back in ch. 537 to hunt Iron bulls for beef kebabs. Man that was a long time ago!
Rose Mercenary Squad was a little out of luck today. They had accepted a herb-collecting mission and would only have to find the required herbs at the periphery of the mountain range. However, they happened to meet a 4th-tier Iron-back Bull.

The more lies you tell, the bigger the net you cast to catch yourself. The smart idea would be to stick to the truth. Only say what’s relevant and keep the story straight.
Lex gulped as quickly started thinking of a good excuse.

The time had come; the era of steam and steel awaited him. While Berengar had no plans to change his methods of steel production, for the time being, it was becoming increasingly clear that he had advanced to the pinnacle of what a pre-industrial society could muster. With this in mind, Berengar had a single thought in his head as he began to scribble out blueprints for an important tool that could be used to increase production by a wide margin.

True, but I don’t think that would work for high pressure boilers.
The Pneumatic rivet gun was a device that utilized compressed air to propel a rivet into the targeted area after the operators pressed the trigger. Without something like welding coming into existence, Berengar would need rivets to manufacture his machinery; as such, he figured the most efficient means would be this simple but effective tool. Thus, he began to draft plans to set up a facility to make compressed air cans so that the rivet guns could always be functional.

It’ll be complicated, but it’s achievable. I learned about this during one of my “internet rabbit hole” searches: one way they made compressed air was by digging a long, deep “U” shaped tunnel in the ground and running a river through it. As water rushed down the inlet, it would create a vacuum past a bunch of tubes that would suck air in and drag it down to the bottom with the water. At the bottom, the air would then settle out and collect in the ceiling of tunnel where a pipe would send it back to the surface. Meanwhile the water would continue up the other end of the “U” and go on its merry way. The weight of the water in the “U” is what compressed the air and made it usable for pneumatic machines back in the day.

Isn’t that the main underlying goal of this war? To unify all of Germany under his rule first, so he then has access to a large population which he can then use to industrialize and expand his empire?
Sieges would not always be this easy, and as such, he had to savor the swift victories while still managing to achieve them. When he returned from this war, he desperately needed to begin the industrialization process of Austria; he had already advanced to the limits of pre-industrial society. If he wanted to maintain his dominance, the era of steel and steam would need to occur.

How do you sever the retina and optic nerve with a sword and still have an eye; let alone an iris? There’s no way his eye didn’t burst from the depth of that kind of injury from a sword. Just commission one of your artisans in glassmaking to make you a glass eye to fill the cavity. You can still wear an eyepatch to hide the defect and it’s much more believable and realistic.
As for the eyepatch, it was exactly how he had envisioned and was also a work of art. The eyepatch was an accessory that covered his hideously wounded eye, which had already begun to mend itself; within a few weeks, the gash in the eye itself would be restored, but there would definitely be a scarred pupil and iris.

How else would our protagonist justify getting to wear an eyepatch?🙃
Eventually, a vertical slash passed through Berengar's defense, and right under the protection of his Burgonet grazing past his right eye, cutting through the soft tissue and spilling his blood on the ground. Berengar reeled in pain as the sting of the cut electrified his brain.

If they called the ground/planet ”Rodu”, then yes it would be a “roduquake”. However, Rodu is the human empire they’re residing in right now (which is located on the Norland Continent); not what they call the world/ground they live on, so no.
Soon, a courtier strode into the great hall, and respectfully reported, "Your Majesty! A small earthquake has happened on Romo Street. The scale is small, so there shouldn't be much damage caused."

Town criers. Only a few people need to read to then shout it from the rooftops for everyone to hear.
As of right now, Berengar's ability to disseminate propaganda had greatly expanded beyond his own borders. Pretty soon, the commoners of other regions would see him as an ideal candidate for leadership. By the time he began to make his move for his political aspirations, few among the common population would believe the Church's lies.
History · Zentmeister
Not unless he can get the town criers to share the news before the church can react. After all, most people can’t resist hearing and talking about juicy or controversial rumor/topic.
"I need these made in the thousands so that we can ship them across the German-speaking regions, it is my hope that every literate man may read of the Church's misdeeds. Can this be done?"

True, but it’s harder to dismiss as baseless hearsay rumors when someone took the time to put it in writing and openly declare it at large (especially in that day and age). Plus you only need a few people who can read to spread the news; ie: town criers. After all, his goal here is getting the public’s support, and the nobility don’t really mingle with commoners.
The old man smiled at the compliment and brought Berengar into the factory, which had been constructed explicitly for paper manufacture and printing materials. Water-powered Paper mills were set throughout the large factory. Once processed, they were placed on the printing presses to make the various reading materials Berengar introduced for public education. However, right now, he had a dire need to spread the word of the Church's sins, and as such, he needed a lot of pamphlets.

Give it to the travelers and merchants and instruct them to give it to the town criers and others that can read. It’s much less disputable as baseless hear-say rumors when the person saying it is holding physical proof that someone took the time to make (which is a big thing in that day and age). After all, the public’s support is his top goal here.

I’m suddenly reminded of “The Gods of the Copybook Headings” by Rudyard Kipling, 1919.
Berengar was currently teaching a basic sentence on the blackboard and see which of the men in his class could read it. He scribbled down the German characters for the phrase "A fair day's wage for a fair day's work" This was one of the many concepts he was trying to instill in the working man and nobility alike. He truly believed people should be paid the worth of their labor. After writing down the sentence, he looked upon the crowd and gave them another contest.

"You don't have to be so restrained. I just want to know more about you." Xi's hands swept across the table gently and the menu appeared on the table. "I don't think you have had lunch yet. Place your order first."
