I've read till 330 chapters. Usually by now i would've been confident in my views on any novel. Three hundred is a lot of chapters to understand its merits and where the story is going ahead. But here I am, just confused how I got till 300 when the story has not even progressed that far...or has it? It's a big question mark XD The first 30-40 chapters are really redundant, I can see where the author was going with it? But it falls short to unneeded massive expositions, this continues to later chapters mind you, but for a reader the first few chapters should be where we get hooked. Ramblings of meta physics in fictional world powers for 30 straight chapters ain't one XD Leaving that aside, the grammar is fine. A lot of typos, names getting mingled here and there, wrong use of tenses. Still, not a huge problem. Let's come down to what we were promised. A ruthless, cunning, greedy, unforgiving and neutral evil protagonist. His ruthlessness is not expressed enough. Sure he seems to be ruthless, but he's not distinctively more ruthless than others around him. Powerful people around him seem more mature, conniving and ruthless than mc is. His little shenanigans at the first clone were just that, shenanigans. Cunning. Yeah nope, I don't where or which part shows his cunningness but there isn't any that popped up till now. The reincarnation plan? Innovative at best, it's not cunning. The most useless scene was him visiting his siblings cause then he can use that to gain something from his mother? Duh what? How childish of a plan that was, just went contradicting itself when mc himself said he didn't need her permission anyway. It's small, it was funny though. He's very passive on scheming, it's like he has already schemed and won and all there is to do is to be left alone and let him reap his plans. I mean ok? But how is that interesting for us to read lmao? Greedy, hmmm...his second clone describes it better. He's not greedy, he's envious. His whole motivation and trigger was the realm lord's control over his life. I say this because, again his greediness isn't any more prominent than others in this world. After the reincarnation part, he doesn't/there isn't some monumental leaps in grabbing more than is allowed in power. He just goes along the flow. Unforgiving, i would like author to replace it with petty. He is obnoxiously petty, he goes according to his mood swings and people even just being themselves and him not liking it will flip his buttons. Maybe this what author confuses as ruthless? Idk. Not the kind I was looking for sure. He's way too arrogant, moody and preachy for someone this old and knowledgeable. Neutral evil, hmmm this could be the closest thing that is met correctly. He is neutral, he actually helps others. He has likings to people just cause without a need for benefits. Like the tree, sure he got them but it is said so in the chapters themselves that he respected trees and liked their company. Evil, hasn't done any atrocities that would plug him any more evil than generic progression fantasy mcs. He only really committed genocides in demon realm, but again the culture there is already of slaughtering and consuming others to gain power so he is not evil there. Author does a good job of keeping protag always on the moral high ground XD It meets it cause conventionally he does commit murders for personal reasons so yeah evil. Not the kind we dark novel lovers would like and are familiar with from Reverend insanity that's all. There's one more thing i wanted to touch up on. In the main character chapter author said " The process of becoming one is fraught with challenges, internal conflicts, and external adversaries seeking to halt their ascent." Disclaimer guys, there is no challenge, no internal conflict or external adversaries found as far as I have read. Mc has only met people who have helped him, or people who never amounted to a threat to him. He has even met the realm lord and the guy actually helped him out. Sure he was said to be taking advantage for scheming later on but seeing the trend where mc is never really in any danger and is never put in dire straits.... Yeah I'd wager a leg it will not be something big and probably just turn out to benefit mc more and realm lord gets face slapped. It's a generic OP fantasy where he crushes everything with no problem. There's no short falls, no losses, no unexpected twists, nothing going too much away from his plans. Just a sweet sweet power trip. Author and other's should not compare this with the likes of Reverend insanity. The ones close enough are lightning is the only way, birth of demonic sword and sure comparing those two this fares much better personally. Also the reason i might just continue reading it. There's some good too! XD it is a unique premise, the world isn't like the generic stuff where higher realms are disconnected with lower realms and the heaven is quiet. Here races are always across realms, they visit their homeland in the lower realms. There's actively interacting manifestation of heaven. The realm lord is all-knowing. Eternal life(*terms and conditions applied) is readily available to origin gods who are not even the last level. There are so many of them too XD actually for the good half of the first hundred chapters you'll only be seeing the origin gods. It is not a dark world, it is very lively and people are more caring and progressive to those around them. Actually if it was not intended for a dark, evil mc it would be a very good mainstream fantasy anti hero novel. That's all, i will read ahead and maybe make updates on what i think has changed my views. If I don't then i probably have dropped the novel. Which is sad, cause I was very expectant when people compared it with reverend insanity. There are so few that claim and live up to it. Sigh...

Ugh, where do I start with this joke of a fanfic? First it is borderline standards, author throws around words like "thingy" "Fock" like a high schooler is retelling his wet dream on one piece. To a certain extent this is just that, a power drive wish fulfilment. When we come looking for evil protag, it's more for their cunning and awesome schemes, not for a cliche villian trope with a plot armour. His cunning and "manipulation" starts and ends with " I shall manipulate you!" "I've read you have daddy issues in canon, now look I'll be daddy" "Ok" That's it, so what he kills your father or the person the whole village was more debited too? The plot armour kicks in and all bad outcomes are erased from possibility, no matter how low the chance of a miraculous changeover is. Author kept insisting mc acts certain way to fool people.... from the monologue of his thoughts that cover 70% each chapter you could see there's 0 difference between his crass talk outside or inside. There's so many in your face Deus ex machina that author is just teasing with his reader's bottom line. He literally goes "because...oh well :p" "He just created the system thingy" "He just blocked the thought reading thingy" "it's not hard, just have plot armour lol" There's so tension build up, no suspense ( this guy/gal blabbers everything on each and every chapter) the epitome of "tell and don't show" By the time mc did get his lightning devil fruit you'll lose all interest in what happens next. It was pretty anticlimactic too. He spoke of winning over them all instead of war but he ended up destroying the whole Island anyway.... Why? "Readers you asked and so here it is... destroyed" Not even a f**king proper explanation why a situation went from 0-100. Did all those characters including his allies with him die? If not how the fuck did they all survive the whole Island being destroyed? Even if author pulls some bunny out of his back and say oh no one died at this point I couldn't care less. That's how nonchalant and devoid of logic this crap is. The only reason I'm giving it a 3 star is because it seems to be from knowing the canon quite well, atleast from a noob who left off after time skip point of view. Basically stay away if you're looking for a serious story.
