Tbh, this is actually a status thing. Only the wealthy or priviliged have things like the pokegear and such. Arthur, John and Andrew refused to have their families do that for them, so they all have the official pokedex at this point. As Rotom becomes more common, that will change.

"Yes you are. I'm going to give you a special mark on your fifteenth birthday, that will only react when you are near other champions. All champions have that mark, and it's what allows us to communicate with you while your alive. That mark will also let us do some other things, but we'll cover that once your of age. Also, you won't have your memories until you receive the mark. Levels the playing field as it were. Now, off you go. I expect great things from you."

oh, in that case, arthur remembers Arceus so he's not curious. The others are going to assume Arceus appeared to arthur like theirs appeared to them, in pokemon form.

"I don't think we're supposed to question it too much. However, I have a feeling that certain powers that be are watching the odds. With me being the Champion of Arceus I wouldn't be surprised to see that several of the people I know are actually champions. We didn't really get to see Gary or Ash to find out if they are champions or not. Not to mention everyone from the summer camp. And Lucy had already left by the time these came up."

She's the gym leader before whitney. Will eventually be the World Gym Leader for Goldenrod Tower.

It's my mom's pokemon that are way more impressive. My mom is the Gym Leader of Goldenrod City. She's been the Gym Leader for six years now, picking up the position when I was two years old. He team is all Electric Type pokemon, and while she's not the strongest Gym Leader in Kanto, she certainly isn't the weakest. Her main team includes a Raichu, an Emolga, a Lanturn, an Ampharos, and an Electivire. Granted, she doesn't get to use her main team all that often, as most trainers know to challenge her either early on, or wait until just before the league.

Danu does not. With the focus they are having on Danu's moveset, she'll probably never learn vine whip or any of its related moves.

John's sister aside, we start into a regular schedule. Every morning we'll start off with a run. After the run, we'll wash up and head to breakfast. Then we either have class or practice. I found out that Magical Leaf can be learned by having Danu focus the grass type energy into the leaves and then controlling that energy as they fly. So that's what we're working on.

Your right. my typo.

Of course, we all went looking for them. Gary was the one who found them almost an hour later. They were trying to follow a creek back to camp. Problem was, Ash being Ash, he decided to go the wrong direction. But, as they were basically okay, it was overlooked. Apparently Serena saw a Poliwag that she was trying to play with, and in chasing it fell down and scraped her knee. Ash was in the area and heard her, so him and his Pikachu investigated. He took all of the correct steps after that, just decided that going up stream was the route back to camp, instead of down.

It's actually a bit more complicated than that. Ex: MC mom is an electric type trainer, however her skin has some of the same qualities as rubber. Meanwhile Elesa would have the Bullet time thing. Dragon's are longer lifespan for most, Fairy would once again depend on the person. Secondary typings and Prevalent stats also play a part in what abilities a pure typer would get.

"By focusing her training style on Grass type pokemon, she has managed to effectively cultivate a constant Grassy Surge around her. The downside to this, is that if there is not enough sunlight out, she tends to become slightly narcoleptic. So all of you are aware, this is a trend with most trainers that prefer a pure typing, over diversifying their pokemon teams."
