The Ambushing Demon Carpet still has no presence in the line up therefore is collecting dust as well as the Elephorse King of which is a pet. Who here thinks that he should just sell the Carpet or trade it for a useful card with his friends or try to level it up with liquid??Divine Beast Adventures · C449
GeneBoatman: You, surnamed Zhou, do you dare kill me, even though I brought this entourage to kill you even though you were attacked and plotted against first? If you dare kill me, my daddy and granddaddy will want to kill you. If you don't kill me, I'll tell them to kill you to avoid any cultivation deviations. Oh, and I probably have friends who will want to kill you out of greed they also have families that will want to kill you after the stupidity of their children, cousins and nephews (heck even underlings). Rinse and freaking repeat...The Supreme Lord Donghuang · C62

Exallion: Good Question.
Xiao Mei is half Filipino and Half Chinese. Her mother is Filipino and her father the heir of a fictional Chinese Enterprise in the Philippines. It might sound odd in other countries but if the location of was our country, even if I use Korean, Japanese or even European names and even Nigerian names, it won't sound odd at all even if you ask other Filipinos. It was even natural in a sense. We have a lot of mix bloods and migrants here in the Philippines, not to mention we have a lot of overseas workers around the world which some end up marrying foreigners before returning to our country. Maybe one of the reasons (I don't know if I'm exactly right), it seems that our country's immigration law was not as strict as other overpopulated countries.
Our country had both good and bad relationship with China even before we were conquered by Spain back in 1500s. Chinese already traded with our tribes before Magellan even appeared. In the modern day, there are A LOT, as in REALLY LOT of Chinese people and Chinese owned businesses in our country. Even the largest Mall franchise in our country was owned by the deceased Henry Sy who also had the title of Philippines Richest Man in several years and was a Chinese Immigrant. With the South China Sea being the only barrier between the two countries, there were a lot of Jobless people in China flocking in our country to find jobs here.
If you live here, it would not be strange if one or more of your neighbors are foreigners or had a blood of foreigners specially in Private Subdivisions.
Actually, native Filipino names were rarely used now in our country and majority of names used now came from foreign origins. Almost every name the characters in my story had originated from different countries.
Mark - derived from a Latin name. Common in our country.
Paula - derived from a roman name. Also common
Angeline - French name. Uncommon name
Odelina- Anglo-Saxon (well, she's half blood herself). Rare
Abbygale - A derivation from a Hebrew name, Derivations of this name are also uncommon in our country
An so on.
Even our, to be said "Local Common names", that were still used in modern days were actually derived from Spanish origins during the Spanish Colonization Period. The actual, purely Filipino names were sadly, not used anymore as they now sound cringy to most Filipinos. Example of these "ancient" Filipino names were Bagwis, Amaya, Amihan, Bituin and many more. These names could only be heard now from the still existing Filipino ethnic tribes.
About how the MC called Mei as Mei'er, it's not wrong too since its just a nickname. Its not like nicknames had to do something with any specific aspect. It's just a matter of preference. XDMutagen · C22
