If it was only the names I would not have a problem. but almost every single paragraph got stuff in french that ia important to understand!!! It feels awful to read
I am struggling not because of anew MC but because of the french. I don't like the french language, I can not read it and it is everywhere in the first few chapters. Having to look up translations almost every paragraph just ruined all my hype from LOTM for me and that is after re reading all of it for this.
This is a temporary review but important to me nonetheless.I have not read that many chapters yet. Because I simply can't. Soo many sentences got french parts in them and constantly having to look up what they mean in the comment section is pure pain for me.I have heard the amount of french decreases later but I simply can not bring myself to read further like this.I will probalbly try to run a french google translation over it to read...I can not say much about the story LOTM was amazing so the world background stays at 5 stars.
this is way too confusing to read like this I hope it gets toned down in at least the fist book...
