hahaha i guess your right nen is just a joke. Wake up feeling like you want 100% in enhancement emission and transmutation today then just do it and then switch it back whenever you feel like it. And tomorrow you can have 100% in manipulation and conjuration too on a whim whenever your in the mood and then go back to normal whenever you feel like it. i didnt realize using nen was such a casual and easy thing to do. i almost thought it was a strict and dangerous power with consequences from reading the manga but it turns out it isnt you can just do whatever you want whenever you feel like it you really opened my eyes your such a genius.

it is fair because what he is doing is breaking the "Laws" of nen its unnatural and the categories are set in a balance, if he wants to break that balance of course he is going to have to pay a big price. Is it worth it maybe? but if you could just manipulate your affinity at will at a 1-1 ratio then the natural balance of nen categories would be redundant so of course you have to pay a bigger price if you want to break the rules. you could even say hes not paying to increase his affinity he is paying to break the rules to increase his affinity.
