The light from, the only window in the room, hits John's closed eyes causing them to twitch, signifying that he will wake up soon. John's eyes start to flutter and then open, he sits up abruptly. John looks around the room, he sees the light from the window and starts to get out off bed. Sitting at the edge of the bed with his bare feet touching the cold floor, John starts to remove the wires attached to his chest. John then looks at the IV in his left arm, he can see the the fluid bag is completely empty, he applies pressure and starts to take the needle out. He feels a little pain because it has been in the vein for too long.
