Not really. If it’s indeed the real future, there are several things that could explain these scenarios. 1. He’s time travelling in his sleep. Thus, of course everything resets when he goes forward, as the moment he goes back the future hasnt happened, and thus going forward to the exact same moment, said future has yet the be altered. 2. Technology not lrogressing is explainable. Either an apocolypse happened and society only just finished rebuilding to the standards of 2022 again (would explain loss of past info) or the cryopods emerged causing everyone to sleep to the future, thus nothing changed just the year. But the first example explains both.

Bro needs to stop thinking his dream is a normal dream. Dreams dont have a 1-1 time synch with reality, where if u sleep at 9:30 you will have to wait 30 minutes for the stuff at 10. Dreams should always have the same start point in a scenario like this.

He could only aim like this as he did not want to make the mistake of putting down his baseball bat and the shotgun was a model without a stock. As a gamer and an Otaku, he had quite a good amount of knowledge about guns. Even if he wanted to hit the zombie's head, he aimed the gun a little lower as he minded the recoil.

Not really, as long as you dont lock your joints you can absorb the recoil pretty easy. Especially with longer heavier guns.
As the zombie tried its beast rushing at him, Mark held the metal bat on his left and the pulled shotgun from his left side with his right hand. When he got his hand on this gun, he was actually itching to try and shoot it. This shotgun may be short bodied but it still did not lack a good punch. A gun was just one in the list of an Otaku's most wanted items.
