what do you mean the reapers are stupid? a scout unit completely destroyed blacklights reputation with the citadel and permanently snuffed countless minds in the hive mind all while learning of blacklight weaknesses during the fight. now they're probably prepping for when they actually enter citadel space.

Jason just had to figure out why Crazy Dave would break off a cherry and just use one, Jason figured out why very soon from observing the single cherrybomb. It was regrowing its other half, slowly but it was regrowing. Jason could quite easily farm the Cherrybombs and build up a large amount of explosives for emergencies and just throw cherrybomb after cherrybomb once he has enough to spam them without a care in the world, he's putting 'blowing up Zomboss house' on his to do list.

The slave was a Yahg, a species that wasn't exactly nice or intelligent. The Council made contact with them a few decades ago, but after the delegation they sent was killed, they sort of banned any interaction with the Yahg because of their behavior.

did you not read the past 5 chapters? the reapers purposely sacrificed one of their ranks to infiltrate the hive mind so they could ruin blacklights reputation, and the hive mind was significantly reduced from that attack, from this chapter they only have to 2 billion minds left, which is not a lot considering they hold all the mind of the humans and animals formally on earth.
