I like the change of pace from the hero or villain stories and the idea is interest. I really want to know what is to come, but the unknown is also great since the story doesn't tell you much that the main character does not know. The story pace is focused on the character development which is good though it would be nice if I didn't have to "interpret" the gender of the subject. sometimes the he is she and she is a he, though if that were fixed the other rare issues would go mostly unnoticed.

Apparently my father wanted to register us as adventurers. I had my doubts about near eight-year-old kids becoming adventurers, but it seemed they were confident we would be able to register by using their authority as heroes… or well, S-Rank Adventurers with different names. I guess S-Rank Adventurers are allowed to do many things as well and may even be able to bend rules established in guilds and more. Well, I will see that when we get there.
