It would've been better if the arrogance was born from a cumulative experience. Ex. When he first started killing goblins in the forest he'd feel great, but would've thought this was just the start. Then he started getting proficient with it so he challenges himself with more of them because he knew he'd survive with the blessing. He goes higher and challenge the stronger monsters in the surface. Every success gives him confidence , so when he finished training, he goes to orario, then get to the guild, thinking he's special because he is. At the very least better than most lvl 1s. Though he should have confidence by then, he still should have humility, because everything he fought outside aren't really that strong and just the tip of the iceberg. (Also, stating the limit of your character would just make the story predictable and dull) With this he should'nt have said what he said about loki, he should've been given more choices, and say he would think about it. So he goes to the dungeon, surprised that the monsters are worst than the surface, slower and mindless, he got disappointed, then when the 1 sp notif came, the sudden burst of arrogance would naturally come to him. Then, the story would just play out like so. Thing is, it's hard to read when there are sudden changes with the mc's personality. It takes out the immersion of reading because you just feel like something is wrong. If it's cumulative, we could just think I knew it was coming, but the sudden change is just too forceful and feel off putting.
She simply didn't want any more losses, even if it was inevitable but, at least, she would do everything in her power to help reduce the loss, so seeing Ethan just randomly going in without even a hint of information was simply over the limit of her patience, but she regretted it a little because she saw Ethan staring coldly at her, as if she were no more than interesting.

There were downsides to long-range use of [Shundo] however, so Vahn tried not to be overly reliant on it since it wasn't that difficult to run the distance if he wasn't in a hurry. The only reason he used [Shundo] this time is because he wanted to test just how quickly he could cover the relatively short distance during an emergency situation. Vahn tried not to make assumptions when it came to protecting his loved ones, so he had to know exactly how long the trip would take even though it was nearly negligible. With how fast some people could move, arriving just a few seconds slower could spell disaster and Vahn had Sis monitor his logbooks just in case the girls sent him an emergency message.
