It is almost like none of us are immune to propoganda.

But never before had Erich seen a creature with brown skin. He had read about them, and seen holographic projections about them, such as the dark elves. But he had never seen it with his own eyes. And from the perspective of a man who had been raised in a society where the most ideal features a living being could have were that of pale skin. Erich suddenly found himself repulsed by his own appearance.

Welcome to socialism.

She had also implemented a payment structure on an income- and value-derived sliding scale so that utilities would remain affordable to all. It was a complex calculation based on the value of the property and the income of the people living on, or using it, so the more affluent Edenians paid more in an absolute sense than the poorer citizens. She had also cooperated with president Chakrabarti of the Coeus Foundation to set up a charity fund to keep lights on and water running in case of disaster, so people were quite relieved and Liz had quickly joined the ranks of the most-beloved leaders in Eden, alongside Sarah and Felix.

It does.

'Yeah, right. I had enough of this bullsh*t back on Earth. "You need to learn how to stand up for yourself", they said. "A little bullying helps you build your character and prepare you to face real-life" and all that cr*ap.

From my experience, atheists are desperate to fill the hole in their lives left from their lack of faith. That is why they can't just live and let live. They have to attack, demean, and antagonize as a way to validate themselves and their beliefs; no matter how flimsy that belief is. Almost like it's faith itself.

If there was one major complaint that Berengar had about Christianity, it was their propensity to deny and destroy all evidence that pointed out the flaws in their religion. To some extent, this radical rejection of truth, in favor of faith in God, had remained engrained in the hearts and minds of Christians well into the modern era. There was no greater example of this than the idea of Creationism that was popular among a minority of American Christians in his past life.

It's like this guy knows about Biden....

Bennett nodded and said, "That is ruling through terror. You create an enemy for the people, and you will be on the side of the people. They will feel the danger themselves. And when there's no guarantee of safety, terror will push most people to give up freedom in exchange for safety, accepting strict regulations."

No, rarely is correct here.

The periods of time between the Second God's Sanctuary's holy battles were long. Humans were rarely excited for the event, primarily due to the power of the spirits that participated. Having an unlocked gene lock was in no way an assurance of having what it took to compete.
