It's more like "Parallels" has 2 arcs done already (with 2 full books done) and now it's arc 3 that's getting me, as the story continues. Cathedral, just like Entry 43 - Originally short stories. Really short. And I just decided to expand them a bit. They are like... more than 5-6 years "old"... written a long while back. So yeah...
It's more that I just feel the need to "finish it". That's why the thing still feels rushed. At the back of my head I am already continuing "Parallels" story, so that's why the writing seems messy. ¬_¬

Parallels had first ideas back in 2008, I've rewritten it many time since, before found the way that suited it best. Starts off like fantasy, goes into Sci-fi, then morphs into Dystopia.... Had to update things in it, as quantum physics changed in the world since 2015 onwards. Making it more realistic. But yeah... It's been the "big" work I did going on for years, hence the complexity. Not the typical 3rd person perspective, but multiple 1st person perspective writing. The challenge is to get the right character to explain, show and move the plot. In first book there were 12 people, in second there's 8, in third - new characters added and the view expanded. So yeah... But I love the complexity of it. Do you write stories?
