Ok, maybe a lord is pushing it. But LH stated that he could defeat a HG 5 while at TG 1. Defeating a HG 9 should be easy at his current level (with his sword). This is why he should go all out and kill everything to quickly raise up to TG 9 (or 10). At that point he will smack down low rank lords. At least in theory, right?

I don't understand the deception at this point. Shouldn't he be able to fight a lord now? Because based on the pattern, he will need to kill lords to advice in the heavenly god realm.

LH is TG 4 now, at TG 1 he believed he could kill HG 5. So by that logic, he can now handle HG 8. And that is without using any cards.
